《My Savior - (A Donnie x reader Fanfic)》Chapter 21 - Cartoons and Casey

Although not fully healed, you were still visiting the lair. You were sitting on the couch with Donnie, your head in his lap as you Both watched dumb cartoons. The theme tune rang out from the tv.
"Animani- totally insaney- Animaniacs! Those are the facts!" you sang along, nodding your head to the chipper tune. Donnie looked down at you and shook his head. You smiled as you continued to watch the cartoon.
You both laughed at the antics on screen. Funny slapstick cartoons were always your favourite. Suddenly, something clicked in your head. "Hey, that one kinda sounds like you!" you pointed at the taller character on screen.
"What?!" Donnie sounded offended. "I sound nothing like that!" you laughed, "no, he totally does!" Donnie rolled his eyes, "Yeah, right, okay you believe that" Donnie began running his fingers through your hair as you both focused on the cartoon again.
You were watching contently as a chipper song began to play. "And now, the nations of the world... brought to you by YAKKO WARNER!" an announcer-like voice introduced. Your eyes lit up as the song started playing. "I used to know all the words to this!"
You began singing along, hardly missing a beat as the wacky cartoon character sang the names of countries. Donnie chuckled as you imitated the voice.
Even though the song progressively sped up, you barely made mistakes. Donnie went from mildly amused to impressed. "Wow, how did you ever have time to memorize that whole thing?"
You looked away, kind of embarrassed. "I thought it would impress guys when I was little"
Donnie burst out laughing. "Don't make fun!" You complained, crossing your arms and pouting. Donnie kissed your forehead. "It certainly impressed me, Buttercup"
You huffed, slightly embarrassed. However, your attention was ripped from the cartoon when a large clatter erupted from the turnstiles behind you. You whipped your head around.

Clumsily entering the lair was a hockey-gear clad stranger with an incredibly gross looking hockey mask on his face. Donnie grabbed the nearest staff-like object, which happened to be a broom, and pointed it at the intruder.
"Who the hell are you, and how did you find us?" He asked, deepening his voice a few octaves. The intruder scrambled to remove his mask, mumbling to himself. When he finally managed to tear the ugly ask off his face, you cried out.
"CASEY!?" You stood up and walked over to your older brother. "Casey you creep! How did you find this place!?" You snapped, poking your brother in the chest.
He looked at you protectively. "Mom gave me directions," he clarified, crossing his arms. "I wanted to make sure you guys were leaving room for Jesus" he glared at Donnie.
You rolled your eyes "leaving room for Jesus... you're an atheist! And besides, we were just watching dumb cartoons before the guys have to go out for patrol." You crossed your arms.
Donnie shot your older brother a look before leading you back to the couch, where you continued to watch cartoons. Casey sat on the other end of the couch, seemingly keeping an eye on your and your boyfriend.
"Hey, that one kind of sounds like you Don" Casey commented, pointing to Yakko. Donnie rolled his eyes. "I do not sound like that!" he complained. 'I gotta agree with Casey on this one D. you do sound-alike"
You had all but fallen asleep before Leo walked into the lounge, adjusting his belt. "Alright, time to g- who's that?!" you sat up from the couch, slightly groggy. "Leo, this is my brother Casey. Casey, Leo" you said as you rubbed the sleep from your eyes.

"Why he's here is a long story and my last brain cell just said bye, I'll explain later but he won't tell anyone, I swear," you promised, holding a finger in the air. "Okay?" Leo replied, confused. "You two should probably head home,"
You nodded in agreement, standing up off the couch and stretching. Donnie followed your lead, walking to his lab only to emerge shortly after with a water bottle and a pill bottle. "Before we go you should take your meds, Buttercup" You nodded and followed your boyfriend's instructions, swallowing the pill.
Once that was over with, the six of you left together. The turtles disappeared into the night as you and Casey walked home.
"If you come back to the lair acting like you did today ill tell mom"

Fixture in Fate
Heroes aren’t to be trusted. They aren’t to be revered, or to be praised. They are to be feared, no matter the good they do, or the justice they seem to embody. Because it’s all a lie, a fabrication to make you believe that Heroes exist. Heroes don’t exist, only humans. And there is no scarier monster than a human with a ‘link’. Can a world, betrayed so thoroughly, ever truly want to be saved? This is a Superhero Fantasy story, set in a world that fears those called Linked. This story is also reminiscent of others in the genre like Worm by Wildblow.

A New Leaf
When people mention fantasy games and RPGs, they usually think of goblins, elves, orcs, dwarves and magic (apart from the percentage that gets an image of an anti-tank weapon in their mind, I will respectfully put those individuals aside for now). But what if you get neither of those (not even the weapon, I know, sad)? And what if you end up playing as something that doesn't look like an animal at all? And what if the said game you were playing weren't actually a game, but real life changed by irresponsible, beyond-mortal beings? Follow the (mis)adventures of "player" 13241, a.k.a. Treant, as he experiences what it's like to be a walking magical fruit maker (among other things). When the world goes to hell and back, plants are the ones that remain, right?

Cursed Forest
This is a high fantasy story with horror elements, featuring the map-maker and half-elf Aspen, and his friend Sekafi, a hyena-like humanoid as they are sent on a mission to map out unknown territory and encounter a monster. Soon they're involved in something larger and more dangerous than they ever wanted. What happens next, you'll find out when you read. This is the first story I'm publishing here on RoyalRoad. I wanted to try this site out since it's more geared towards fantasy. I've been at Wattpad for about 2 years under the same name, but since I'm not writing romance I haven't gotten much steam there. This is my latest story, and it's also published on Wattpad in the book called Short Stories. I wanted to start with something new and unfinished here. I'll try and update at least once every other week, sometimes more often. ~RiisingNovels
