Everyone stared in shock as the heir to the Kuchiki house and a street rat sparred as if they did it everyday. The lower class students were surprised at Agito's fearlessness to meet a challenge for a Nobel House Heir and the upper class students were surprised that Byakuya called out a street rat to spar with him. Even though they all agreed that Byakuya and Agito fought with a higher level of skill they all had as first years, they didn't admit that they were jealous. Jealous that Agito somehow found favor in a Kuchiki and jealous that Byakuya ignored everyone else for this one street rat.
Rue watched the two carefully. Ready to call out if Byakuya did slice even one hair out of Agito's head. She had read Agito's lips as she spoke and hopefully no one noticed.
The woman teacher, Kazunari-sensei, was beyond furious. First the brat Rue both embarrassed and threatened her and now the brother, in his wrinkled and lazily fit uniform no less, is battling with one of the most famous of the noble class. She felt anger twisting inside her as the street rat fought as an equal to a Kuchiki. How dare he!
The male teacher, Ukulu-sensei, was intrigued and secretly proud of his student. Finally, someone in his class with flare. He knew Agito was a female despite presumptions that 'she' was a 'he'. He had been waiting for someone like her to show up, someone with flare. He knew all about the encounter they had with his assistant and was intrigued by the twins in general.
"Stop this fight at once!" cried Kazunari-sensei. She stepped in between the two sparring frienemies and they both stop.
"Byakuya won by a single strand of hair!" cried Rue. She walked into the sparring grounds and picked up a single strand of blue hair. Byakuya smirks at his victory.

"It seems like your losing your edge eh Agito?" Agito disappeared for only a second before he reappeared in front of Byakuya. His leg had already swung around but he stopped his foot from landing one hit on his head. A gust of wind from his foot blew and tugged Byakuya hair string out. Everyone gasped in shock at the almost threatening power from Agito. Agito put his foot down and walked calmly back to his classmates.
"Agito is a sore loser! See you later Byakuya-kun!" Rue said before following Agito. Byakuya felt his temper rising up. That Agito still annoyed him.
"COME BACK AGITO AND FIGHT ME!!!" The only reply he received was a mocking laughter.

Madness Led by the Hands
‘Great, no… splendid. It was for naught.’ ‘Naught? Depends. If your desire is to send an army of killers our family’s way, yes indeed. If it’s plain survival you seek, then no.’ ‘They don’t coexist?’ ‘What… don’t tell me you’re still all groggy from the fall. Perhaps in novels, but real life is much tougher–––many more times a drag than anyone can possibly imagine. If dusty history is not a reliable teacher for you, then the pandemic surely took that place. At least that one has the advantage you needn’t be literate to savvy how reality always trumps imagination.’ ‘Whatever you say, whatever you say. So… what now?’ ‘Now? Isn’t it obvious? Now we shall survive. And live a good life.’ ‘Ohh… pretty much everything here has something against this little weird wish of ours. Might you consider?’ ‘Then pretty much everything here is a goner.’ ‘Hm, I don’t like the sound of that. Too much trouble, you see. I’d prefer laying low somewhere safe.’ ‘…nobody told you it’s mutually exclusive, no–––or did you forget about that too?’ ‘Fine, then I wish my future enemies all the best.’ ‘They are undeserving of your pity.’ ‘Of course not. That unlucky bunch won’t ever comprehend the reason behind their demise. Just let me smoke in peace and offer my condolence in advance.’ ‘Idem, let me study alchemy, unobstructed by all, if possible. This also includes you. By the way, are you sure you smoke to offer condolences? It seems like an excuse to me.’ ‘I-it is none. Plain truth, you see?’ ‘Seriously, why did I even ask...?’
