The next day,Jessie and I slept in. After all that's what Saturdays are for, am I right? It was cold outside and toasty in our rooms,there was no way we'd be getting out of bed.

"Hey. Want to stay in and binge Friends?"I ask Jessie with a smile. "We're basically the same person"Jessie says. I make my way towards her bed with my MacBook and lay down next to her,making myself comfortable and warm under her blanket. "Knock knock"we hear a deep voice say as they slowly open our door.

"Babe,what's up"Jessie says sitting up on her bed. "Just came to bring you some things, I know you said you don't have to many snacks so I just got some for you guys"Daniel says handing Jessie a bag full of junk food.

"Awwe, you guys?"I ask. "Yes. Couldn't forget about her best friend"Daniel says with a smile. I stare at him in awe. "Not really they just had a lot of sales of buy one get one free"Daniel admitted,making us all laugh. "Alright well I'll see you, it's pretty cold outside so I'm heading back into my room"Daniel says as he reached over to give Jessie a goodbye peck.

I felt my phone vibrate and seen that I was receiving a call. "Oh hey,I've got to take this. It's my mom" I say as I get out of Jessie's bed and put on my slippers. I pick up the phone and make my way into the campus' living room.

It was empty. Our living room consists of a couple of couches and two big screen TVs. There's also a table in front of the tv and a pool table behind the couches. It's like a normal living room,but more expensive and luxurious.

"Hey mama"I say with a squeal in my voice.

"Hey sweety. How's it going down there?"My mother asks with excitement in her voice.

"It's great. Yeah,we begin break on Monday and I couldn't be happier"

"That's great! Will you be visiting?"

"Yeah I will but the week after"

"That's good,I miss you. So does Aby"My mom says,I heard a crack in her voice,I can tell just how much she's been missing me.

"Awe I miss you guys too. Seriously,I can't wait to see you guys. How's Aby doing?"

"She's great actually. Therapy's really been helping her out"

"Yeah I figured"I say with a chuckle.

"Well I just called to see how you were doing honey"

"Oh. Well I'm great mama. Hope you are too"

"Yeah I am. I'll have to let you go though. I'm going out to eat with Aby"

"Alright that's fine. Talk to you soon"

"Alright,bye baby".My mom says before hanging up the phone.

I breathe in then let out a sigh of relief. I guess I didn't really realize how much I missed home until I heard my moms voice. I look down at my phone and just stare at my lock screen,it's a picture of my dad and I on his motorcycle when I was younger.

I pull myself together and I stand up. I couldn't believe my eyes once I turned around to walk back into my dorm.
