《Alpha King's✔️》Chapter 8

I woke up my body crying in pain, cold, damp and the smell of rotten cheese in my nose. Every time I move my body even in the slightest all I feel is pain - torturous pain. I whimpered my body on fire. I'm sure every bone in my ribs were broken, tears streaming down my face and what was going on. I just want to be safe with my family, why can't I just go home.
"Are you ok?" I heard someone whisper.
That's it I'm going mad. Somebody is talking to me. That's impossible. I tried to move my head but cried out in pain. "Please don't move." The voice said again.
I was so confused "I'm over here." The voice said.
I moved my neck slightly to the left to look out into the hallway through the cell bars to see if I could see anything, it was dark now so my eyes couldn't really make anything out apart from yellow eyes which seemed to be staring at me.
"Am I dead?" I asked, looking at the devil's eyes. I must be dead. I'm now imagining things I'm going crazy aren't I.
"You're not dead." the voice spoke again.
"Who are you?" I whispered petrified it was going to some and do something to me just like that guard did. I remember the feel of him hardening in my hands when he forced my hand around his penis. I could feel the sickness rushing towards my throat. I've never done anything like that. How could somebody do that to someone. Force them into touching somebody like that. I had to take a deep breath and close my eyes to get the horrible memories out my head.
I looked over to the yellow eyes again but this time my eyes must have adjusted to the dark because I could see a silhouette of a man staring straight at me. "What's your name?" He asked me looking over my body.

I took a deep breath. He wasn't going to make me do anything to him. Oh please don't make me do that again please don't. "I'm not going to hurt you." He said and I could have sworn I heard him growl. "I'm not like them, blood suckers" He added.
I looked at him again. What was the worst thing I could lose, I would welcome death if it meant that I wouldn't be in this pain anymore. "Arabella" I said and looked at him again the best I could without screaming in pain.
"That's a pretty name. My name is Jack." He said and chuckled "I would give you my hand but I don't think you're in any state to move." He said looking at me again. "What are you in here for?" He asked "Did he buy you?" He added.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. "Yes" I whispered. I swear he wouldn't be able to hear me but somehow he did. I really wanted to ask why his eyes were such a different colour. I've never seen somebody's eyes that colour but then again I haven't really been in contact with people since I was born. I might as well just ask him I'll welcome death if that comes to "Why are your eyes bright yellow?" I asked him and made sure I could see his expression.
He smiled "I'm a werewolf." He replied. "Haven't you learned about us creatures in your school?" He asked and I could have sworn he growled again when he said the word 'creatures'.
School if only I could have gone to school "No I didn't go to school my parents kept me hidden." I told him. Why am I telling this stranger everything, I've only just met him.

Just then I heard a door slam open and before I could blink I saw him right in front of me "Get up" He said, staring at me lying on the floor.
"Ple.. please I can't" I pleaded.
Please do not make me get up oh god I physically can not get up "Get up bella." He said.
My neck turned towards him before I could tell my body no, I screamed in pain and whimpered. He only looked at me confused. He knelt down towards me "Who did this to you?" He asked, clenching his jaw. I could only stare my eyes closed as my body took over with pain. "Bella WHO DID THIS TO YOU?" He shouted I could have sworn that whole dungeon shuck.
"Th.. the guard" I mumbled.
I could feel my body being lifted handling my body bridal style, I could feel him walking. I looked back to the cell where Jack was and he was staring at me. "Don't worry Arabella I'll save you. My mate." I heard somebody say in my head who the hell is talking to me in my head am I going mad.

Cursed Forest
This is a high fantasy story with horror elements, featuring the map-maker and half-elf Aspen, and his friend Sekafi, a hyena-like humanoid as they are sent on a mission to map out unknown territory and encounter a monster. Soon they're involved in something larger and more dangerous than they ever wanted. What happens next, you'll find out when you read. This is the first story I'm publishing here on RoyalRoad. I wanted to try this site out since it's more geared towards fantasy. I've been at Wattpad for about 2 years under the same name, but since I'm not writing romance I haven't gotten much steam there. This is my latest story, and it's also published on Wattpad in the book called Short Stories. I wanted to start with something new and unfinished here. I'll try and update at least once every other week, sometimes more often. ~RiisingNovels
