《How to Create a Purrfect Prophecy》Outlining the prophecy

Now, you've been sitting here, bored out of your mind, probably. "When will they actually tell me how to write my stupid prophecy?" You might wonder. Well, friend, let me tell you, (Or let US?) we are starting RIGHT NOW.
Yep.
Right... now.
Alright fine.
Lettuce go (Wow, just like that?).
When you start creating a prophecy, you must decide: Who will be a part of my prophecy? Which of my characters will play an important part in the story? Determining this will make it far easier to create a good prophecy.
So, take Rainpaw, for example. (Not canon lol) Rainpaw, and her sister, Grasspaw, are important characters in this story we are creating, so I should include them in my prophecy. Sandfur is the main enemy in my story, so she should be included as well.
Ok, now we have decided who is in our story. But we still haven't finished planning just yet.
Next, we must decide the outline of the story itself. If you don't know the main point of your story, your prophecy will become much harder to write. You will have to follow the prophecy, rather than having the prophecy follow your story. By this I mean is if you make your prophecy "And pine will rule the forest," then you must make pine rule the forest. However, if you plan to make pine rule the forest, the prophecy is following your story, giving you far more freedom. and making it easier to write. Another example is if you plan or outline your story, you already understand what the prophecy should be about, making it easier to write.
So, off with you, people, and go plan your story!

A little rough around the edges, I hope to come back and edit at some point, and then continue the story on. In the grand scheme of things Elias was nothing special. Which was why he was surprised by a random company on a new colony planet buying out his contract. That was the problem with the large companies that ruled the colonies, once they owned your contract, they owned you. Imagine the greater surprise when he learnt that the new company held the promise of freedom. Not from the constant battle against the Swarm that were also trying to claim the colony planets for their own. Nor from the Crust, the mysterious substance that covered the same planets and held the resources they all fought for. No, the freedom from being oppressed by those with more power and to finally decide where to go and where to set down roots and call home.
