The small council meeting was over and everyone went their separate ways. Killian offered Anthea his hand.

'Would you like to walk with me, your grace?' he asked with his soft voice. His hair was brown and his eyes were emerald green. It was an unusual sight in Kingslanding. He truly was a beautiful young man and many handmaidens admired him. He was not that muscular but he also wasn't slim. Killian definitely knew how to wield a sword.

Anthea answered with a fake smile. 'That would please me, my lord,' she replied. Her voice sounded strained and tired and she didn't want to walk that far at all. She hated to be the queen. Everyone expected everything from her and it was just unfair. She gracefully took his hand and they walked down the hallways together.

'I admire your strength, your grace,' Killian spoke after a long silence. 'You choose to marry lord Baelish for the sake of Westeros.'

'Political arrangements. They have to be made sometimes. I don't see any other options. And we will get Casterly Rock back. Not only that, I will also rule the Vale and the Twins and he will become the king. I am a little concerned about that last part, but oh well, what else can we do?' she sighed. Anthea was getting fed up with the endless talks on wars, marriages and politics.

'The gods blessed us with a wonderful queen,' Killian praised her. 'Such a beautiful lady with a strong mind. A true lioness. Exactly what we need in these times of fear and destruction.'

She had no idea what he was talking about. Times of fear and destruction? The war hadn't even started yet!

'Thank you, my lord. Those are kind words,' she answered. Why did she always have to say that? "Those are kind words". Like he didn't know that already. She was just stating the obvious. Those septa's with their dreadful rules and pointless sentences. Sometimes she felt like a prisoner instead of a queen.

'Your grace, you seem tired,' Killian said with a hint of concern in his voice. Anthea felt the urge to roll her eyes at him. Finally he realized. To be honest, for the son of a war captain, he was a bit dim and late. Of course she didn't say that out loud. That would be un-lady-like.

'I am, my lord. Would you mind escorting me back to my chambers?' she politely asked. Killian smiled kindly. 'Of course, your grace.'

They turned around and walked back to her chambers. There were two guards standing in front of her door. One was named sir Bernard Vicko and the other one was sir Emilio Lannister, a nephew of Anthea. He was 25 years old and looked a lot like Jamie Lannister wit his golden hair, although Jamie's hair had turned slightly darker and had gotten shorter. They shared the same facial features and piercing eyes.

'Your grace would like to go to bed,' Killian spoke. Anthea got a bit irritated. She could speak for herself. Emilio nodded and opened the door.

'Your grace. Your uncle, sir Jamie, wanted to speak to you. He said he would wait for you in your room,' he said before he let her in. Anthea nodded and tried not to groan.

'Thank you, sir Lannister.' Killian bowed and left her and Emilio shut the door behind her. Sir Jamie sat on a couch near the window.

'Uncle,' she greeted him. He nodded. 'Don't worry, I don't need much of your time. I know you are tired,' he said. She smiled and sat down as well. 'That's alright. I am just glad I made it back to my room. Sweet gods, why is that Killian so annoying?' she sighed.

He chuckled. 'Well, I believe he would still make a better husband than lord Baelish,' he said. Wow, what a way to lighten the mood...

'Who wouldn't?' Anthea responded. 'Thank you for bringing that up, uncle,' she muttered.

Jamie awkwardly rubbed the back of his neck. 'I am sorry, your grace...'

'Please just call me Anthea... I hate those formalities. It's not like someone can hear us talk,' she said.

'I wouldn't be so sure of that, Anthea. There are more spies in Kingslanding than there are citizens,' Jamie responded while walking over to the window. He closed the curtains and leaned against the window sill.

Anthea eyed Jamie before sitting down. 'Why are you here, uncle?'

'Dangerous people are coming our way, my queen. I would never forgive myself if someone were to hurt you. That's why I wanted to talk to you. I need you to join the Starks.'

'The Starks?! Jamie, we will loose this war if we join them! You know that. The Boltons are stronger and more disciplined.'

'But they aren't loyal, Anthea! The Starks won't turn their back on you. The Boltons definitely will. Roose Bolton is dead. Ramsay was killed. The only one left is his son, Ray. And we both know that Ray is ten times worse.'

Anthea sighed. 'We have no choice, uncle. Besides, joining the Starks would only make us look weaker. Lannisters and Starks fighting together? Everyone would laugh at us.'

'The Boltons have lost a lot of men because of the Battle of the Bastards,' Jamie protested.

'So have the Starks. You can't convince me to join them. The Boltons are stronger and if we don't join this war at all, it will mean the end of our family on the throne and it will mean the end of Kingslanding.'

Anthea stood up. 'I think it is time for you to leave. It was nice to see you. Have a great evening, sir Jamie. Please tell my handmaiden to send a raven to lord Baelish. Tell him we agree with his terms.'
