"Stop staring at me."

The blond lifted his head from his hand with a startled expression, amusement dancing in his eyes. "Who, me?"

Theo sucked in a shaky breath, the pressure of anger tight against his chest. It would be wise of him not to cause a scene on an airplane, Javier's mother would tan his backside in public if she saw fit. He tried to contain the bitterness in his voice so he didn't lash out.

"Do you need mental help? Or are you just a creep?" He had huffed, gazing at him through his brown locks. The blond sighed audibly through his nose, and swiftly turned away once more. Perhaps if Theo had directed his attention away in time, he wouldn't have become intrigued by the blond's actions.

A ballpoint pen, scribbling nearly against a notepad, resting on the tray attached to the chair perched in front. With narrowed eyes, he observed how the blond eased the paper from its book, and folded it between his fingers.

He held it out, gaze fixated on the brunette.

Theo stared at it, clearly unimpressed. The blond tilted his head.

"For you," he smiled, that gentle look on his face making Theo's insides do somersaults. "I'm bolder on paper. Shooting my shot."

Theo's cheeks went hot. "Shooting your shot my ass."

He snatched the note, as well as the pen the blond had held up shortly afterwards, his expression tight with annoyance.

Can I have your number? x

Theo scribbled his answer carelessly.

no.
