If Theo wasn't seated beside a very attractive blond boy who kept creeping on him with notes, he would have been annoyed by the crunching.

Crumbs scattered across his friend's lap, lying there, completely untouched. His eyes kept drifting to them subconsciously, left, right, left, right, left–

He swiped his hand roughly over Javier's legs, brushing down the crumbs with so much force his friend had no choice but to slap his hand away.

"Oh, bro, you're gonna touch my dick if you keep that up, mi hermano," he scoffed, pressing his legs protectively away from Theo's palmed hand, glaring at him with a fiery gaze. "What's your problem?"

"You could sit in your own shit if you wanted, moron," Theo snapped, pressing his back further against the seat with a huff. "Clean your mess. It pisses me off just watching you troff."

Javier screwed his empty crisp packet into a ball, flicking it over in Theo's direction with a crooked grin. He angrily kicked it off his lap. "Just because you don't like your seat mate..."

Theo shot him a glare. "It's not fair. He keeps flirting with me."

"And? Is that such a bad thing?" His friend shot back, reaching into his bag to reveal yet another crisp packet. Cheese and onion this time. Javier didn't even like the flavour. "You always said you wanted a real partner."

"Girlfriend," he corrected, jaw snapped so shut he felt he might not ever be able to pry them back open. Javier sunk further into his seat, hiding his grimace and lowering his voice to a subtle whisper.

"Closet made of glass."

Not subtle enough. Theo slapped the back of his head, and his friend groaned in protest.

"Theo. Hombre joven, if you are not out of my seat in three seconds–" A familiar, middle aged voice. Theo groaned softly.

"Why does your mum piss so quickly?"

Javier elbowed him harshly, shooting him a disgusted glare. "Dude, I don't know. Get out before she kicks your ass."

"Uno–"

Theo shuffled across the seats with a stubborn frown, shying his gaze away from the woman as she waited with her hands planted on her hips, foot tapping.

"Dos–"

He was down the aisle before the woman could open her mouth for another syllable, glancing cautiously in case she decided to hit him with her bag on the way down. How Javier lived in a household with that damn woman, he would never know. Settling back down into his empty seat, Theo subconsciously glanced to the side to see the blond turned away, hand over his mouth and shoulders shaking with silent laughter.

He scoffed, and quickly chose to ignore him, promptly reaching forward to access the new note that now accompanied the old one.

Can I at least have your name? (Mine's Atticus btw) xo

Theo flicked the paper away, and pushed his Airpods into his ears.
