Juhi grabbed her stuff and zoomed past the reception.

She sat inside the taxi and went back to her office.

Arriving there, her legs took her to the top floor. Without waiting for the PA's signal she barged in.

He was seated on his chair going through a few documents, while a few employees sat in front of him. The noise of the door made him look up and the employees to turn.

She stood there like a fuming engine. "Dad, we need to talk."

He gestured her to seat, " It can't wait."

Juhi protested.

He sighed and asked the employees to wait outside.

" What is wrong?"

" Vikram took the project down."

Her father's face didnt change one bit. She was shocked to see that.

" You knew it! Did you not?"

He didn't reply.

Juhi got her answer.

" Fine. I'm going down to finance."

She opened and closed the door with force and went down.

She was annoyed, frustrated of these men.

They were so important to her. Why could they not discuss with her before taking decisions involving her?

She got back to finance and started with the work she had abandoned a few days back.

Vikram had a busy day. He had no time to comprehend what had gone wrong with Juhi.

On his way back home, he was sitting beside a silent Sneha.

" Sneha?"

" Hmm?"

" Silence doesn't suit you!"

" Well sometimes it is good. Don't you think?", she had smiled. The smile was watery and he could easily read her.

" Nothing will happen to you."

" I am not worried about myself.", she voiced.

" I am worried about Juhi." She stopped and looked at him, " You put the project on hold without any explanations. She doesn't know your reason. Moreover, Rahul is not here, if she misunderstands then what do we do?"

Vikram smiled at her, " You are worrying too much. Let's go in and relax."

The car had already stopped and Sneha realised it now. Sighing she followed him inside.

When he was about to go inside his room, she asked, " Will you always keep running away from him?"

Vikram didn't turn around to face her.

" He has resorted to this. I haven't." He sighed, " I can not think of hurting him. Despite my better knowledge."

" He doesn't have bad intentions, he is misguided." She squeaked.

Vikram crossed the distance between them and placed his hands on her shoulder, " I know. That is why we are backing out."

Her eyes were filled with tears but Vikram could only stare.

He could do nothing to comfort her.

She was reliving the pain they all had gone through.
