Juhi could not work.

The whole work day, her thoughts attacked her.

This was an entirely new thing for her. She was always focused but with Vikram's arrival, the trend seemed to change.

Currently, she was going downstairs to join him in the car. He had arrived.

Vikram opened the car door to get out as soon as he saw her coming. He had her seat in the back beside Sneha and got back to the passenger seat.

Sneha smiled at Juhi, but she was uneasy. She smiled back to cover her discomfort.

Sneha said, " Oh..I finally get to meet you...we were so excited to have a double date with you guys..but Rahul is not here.", she sighed.

" Rahul?"

" Vikram didn't tell you?" She threw a disapproving stare at the front. " Rahul is my husband. I'm Sneha Sinha."

" Oh, you are Rahul's wife! He is always praises about you.", she exclaimed.

Rahul was a good friend of hers. They had met in a company event for which he was the organizer and since then they had met several times in such events. They were " Occasional" friends as they called themselves.

Sneha smiled fondly at her, " Yes, and now that idiot is on work for ten days."

" About that... I won't lie. I was uncomfortable at first but now I'm not. You can stay, I have no issues." Juhi had smiled.

Sneha smiled back and clicked on Vikram's back who was busy pretending to not pay attention to them.

" How can you get married to her? How? She is beyond your reach."

Vikram glared at her, " Like Rahul got married to you.", and teased her back.

She hit his shoulder and said, " Behave."

He raised his eyebrows, " You should. I'm the boss."

" In the office", she smirked.

Juhi listened to their banter. She had heard so much about them from Vikram, she knew they were important to him. She smiled and got back to talk to them.

Vikram sighed at least one issue was dealt with.

Now, about the other he had no idea how to deal with that. So when Juhi asked him, he had replied.

" Look, I know no details about it as of now. I contacted your father. He said the details would be sent before your arrival in the morning."

She nodded and asked, " When and where?"

" What?"

Sneha shakes her head at her boss. " He is slow, today. Tomorrow 9 am at Raheja headquarters. I will send you the address."

Juhi smiled at her.

Dinner was done and Juhi was dropped at her house. Sneha went to the guest room to occupy it for the next ten days.

While Vikram got into his room.He was well aware that the next ten days were not going to be easy. But he couldn't share his worries with anyone as of now.

He had an inkling about Juhi's transfer and called her,

" Hello!"

" Were you involved in securing Jodhpur project?"

" Is this how I raised you? "

He sighed, " Mom, I don't have time for all this. Tell me."

" I was."

"Why?" , he rubbed his tired face.

" Because, I want Juhi as my daughter in law. Soon rather sooner."

" My wish doesn't matter.", his voice was calm.

" It does. But I know, you like her. So, I'm making your job easier."

He sighed. There was no way of questioning Mrs. Hina Raheja for her actions. If she wanted to do something, she would. She had not considered others before, she won't even today.

He hanged up the call and went to sleep. Trying to energize his body for the next few days.
