Juhi was summoned to her father's office, why? She didn't know. So, she entered inside as soon as she got there. He rarely calls her in office hours. And she was worried for if this was some kind of worrisome issue. She saw him facing the floor to ceiling windows in his office.

" Dad, what is it?"

" Juhi, do you like Vikram?"

Juhi was not sure what was happening, so she asked " Dad, why so sudden?"

He didn't turn but answered, " I'm curious, let me know."

" Your curiosity could be satisfied at home as well." He didn't budge, so she added," Yes..." sighing further, " Yes, I like him."

" Are you ready to marry him?", he was still not facing her which made her anxious. So, she went ahead to face him, " Dad, what is wrong? You wouldn't ask me all this without mom. "He smiled at his daughter and said " just answer it."

" Yes! But I would like to know him more."

She sighed. He put his hand over her head caressing her.

" Tomorrow onwards, you work with Vikram for a project in his office."

" Dad, where is this coming from?", she asked shocked.

" You want to know him better, that is the best way, I could think of."

" Did Vikram have anything to do with this?"

He shakes his head, " No, this is my decision. You go work with him."

" I would work for what project and how many days?"

" Until the project is done. Project details are with Narendra. Go meet him."

Juhi nodded and went to meet Narendra uncle.

The man had simply nodded and forwarded the details of Jodhpur project, the same one which she was assigned to present in two weeks time.

She questioned him about the same. He replied, " You do it there with his help and taste. Presentation details will be given later."

She nodded in a daze. Coming back to her cubicle, she couldn't think straight and simply dialled his number.

Vikram glanced at the phone and picked it up, thinking his problems are trying to resolve on it's own.

" Hello! "

" Hi Vikram!"

" What is wrong?", he could sense her tone.

" I was informed that I'm to work at your office from tomorrow for Jodhpur project."

" When did that happen?" Vikram pressed the bell near his table, calling Sneha in.

As soon as she poked her head in, he asked her, " We are working on Jodhpur project with Mishra's?"

" We are to attend a meeting first two weeks from now, then the project partner would be decided."

Vikram furrowed his brows, " Sneha, is there some message informing us of Juhi joining us for the project, here?"

" Here? As in she will work at our office?"

He nodded. " I will go check."

Juhi had listened to their conversation, her mind was trying to connect the dots. That means her father had granted the project to him without his knowledge as a way for them to spend more time together.

" Juhi, are you there?", voiced Vikram.

" Yes!"

" Listen I'll have to look into this matter. How about you join us for dinner tonight? I have to anyways tell you something important."

" Us?"

" Sneha, my assistant and friend is joining me for dinner."

" I remember her."

" Good, so will you?"he probed.

" What is it Vikram?"

He sighed, " Actually, Sneha's husband is out of town for ten days. He has asked me to allow her to stay with me for that time. She said, she won't move in until you were comfortable."

This was another bomb on her head.

How could a secretary live in her boss's house? They seemed close and this bothered Juhi.

" Okay, let's meet in the evening."

" I'll pick you up from office."
