《Powerful Bella》The Finale

Hey everybody! Guess what? Last Chapter! I just had to write it before I go back to school. Couldn't leave it unfinished. Also, heads up, if you want books to read I would suggest reading Celia Rees, she writes some great stuff, witches, pirates, Vampires, murder stories. Could probably find heaps more. She's one of my favourite authors at the moment. Anyways I'm rambling and that's bad so I'll begin the last chapter. It may be slightly short but hopefully it'll be good enough.
----------------------------------------------
Esme screamed as Edward went up in flames, crying without tears for her adopted child.
Alice stood, staring blankly at Edwards remains/ashes, Jasper smirked. "I never liked him anyways" Alice turned to glare at Jasper before she fell to the ground in a dead faint.
Obviously that is impossible for a Vampire so everyone rushed to surround her, Jasper picking her up from our floor and moving to place her in a more comfortable place.
"I'll kill you! You hear me? I'll kill you all!! You've killed my child and now you've managed to knock out Alice, Jasper. Leave take Alice and leave now." Esme had screamed until she had began to address Jasper.
Jasper, always looking out for the best interests in his mate did as he was told. He picked her slight frame up in his scarred arms and ran from the room. Disappearing from sight and when we could no longer hear them.
I turned to look at Esme, she had once been so motherly towards me. She had once been able to pretend to be sane. The crazed look in her eyes didn't make me nervous. It didn't strike fear into myself or my family.
Esme ran at me, "You deserve to die you horrible wench. You got Eddy killed, you cannot be allowed to get away with this."

I grinned and stopped her, basically froze her mid run. Casually strolling towards her frozen form, I giggled. "Esme, Esme, Esme... what shall I do about you? You have threatened me, called me names and surprisingly enough you can't do those things anymore. I could leave you, you know, frozen like this forever, not being able to move, but you will always be awake inside the shell"
"Honey, stop taunting her, it's bringing out an evil side in you that you don't want to flaunt to the public" Claire suggested from behind Aidan.
I smiled innocently at Claire, "Sweetie, I haven't even begun."
I looked back at Esme's frozen form and grinned.
Turning towards all the Covens in the grand hall I addressed them "Covens of the World, I will be a fair Queen, I have been a fair Queen, but do not choose to defy me as Esme will be the example of what will happen to you"
You could not hear a sound in the room, no pins dropping or even breathing as it wasn't necessary. I suddenly began to think, maybe I should just leave Esme frozen and start a collection of those who defy me like the White Witch in The Chronicles of Narnia.
Aidan clicked his fingers in my face. Bringing me out of a stupor. I turned to look at Esme with disgust. No, she must be destroyed. First though, I decided to take her power, because the power of persuasion could be very handy as queen.
My eyes flashed as I took her power. I then clicked my fingers and Esme's body went up in flames the same way her beloved Eddy's had.
My family started to cheer and I smiled with victory at destroying the people who left me broken and weak. I guess in a way they made me stronger, they made me a more powerful, Bella.

-years into future-because babe, what else to write about-
I smiled as I kissed Aidan on the cheek as I walked past in the corridor.
"Not so fast" he said catching my waist and twirling me around to look him in the face. With his hand on my waist he leant down to kiss me. I tangled my fingers into his hair and grinned into the kiss.
Pulling back, "Babe, got places to be" I said. He grinned and let me go. I ran to catch up to Claire who had gone ahead earlier in the morning and Evangeline smiled at me as I ran past her room where she was leaving to go get herself some food. (Food meaning Blood-I know they are not humans)
I smiled to myself as I slowed down into a brisk walk. The last 500 years had been successful, no one had dared to cross me or Aidan as our use of powers on Shovel faced Edward and Esme were enough.
Alice and Jasper had settled down in Texas with a farm. Keeping out of trouble and leaving their old lives behind to live with Jaspers friends, Peter and Charlotte who were very interesting.
Jane and Alec had come back to Volterra and become part of our guard, and part of the family, like the little siblings I never wanted.
Carlisle, Gemma, Fiona and Emmet had continued to live the way they loved too, amongst unsuspecting humans, who would not be endangered because Fiona and Emmet weren't likely to talk to anyone new.
My Coven had stayed relatively as it was, Aidan and I in charge and everyone else following our lead. Our coven members had found mates and this added to our numbers. Vicki had left to "find herself" and hasn't quite come back in 300 years, she still sends the occasional postcard from where ever she's staying.
All in all, I'm glad I didn't end up with Edward, probably would have ended up marrying him while I was still human and then he would have gotten me pregnant and I'd have some ridiculously named child after our mothers who were actually not very good parents at all. And then I would have nearly died before he tried to save me.
THIS STORY IS NOW COMPLETE!!!

Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero (Update 09/19/21)
(Updated 09/19/21) Hello and welcome. If you made it this far and the book title sounds interesting, I'm hoping you'll read a few chapters. Here's a sample from chapter 1 of "Dreams or Another World - Not a Zero."Slowly starting to wake up, I become aware. It's like coming out of a fog.Head hurts.Body hurts. There's a conversation in the room. This isn't my bed. Someone is touching my arm. I crack my eyes to look. She doesn't notice. Is she praying for me? Her hands do feel good…do feel... Slipping back unconscious, my eyes slowly close. I didn't notice the soft green glow under Jenn’s hands.*******************"It does look like he saved them or at least stalled them long enough for us to get there." says the man dressed more like a park ranger than an officer of the law. "I did think he was part of it at first" he continues "but the evidence shows he wasn't there and they were certainly fighting on that back road where we found them""I don't care who he is." says a woman as she enters the room. "He saved and protected my Jenn. I will make sure there's not a mark or a scar on him before he leaves". As she continues the few steps over to the men speaking, even though dressed simply in common clothes, there is no doubt the race of elves is in her heritage. The grace and lines of her form. The elegance and lightness of her step. She glances at her daughter, still watching over the young man in the bed. "Do we know who he is yet?" she asks no one in particular."Not yet dear" a man in a white coat responds. A handsome middle-aged man. Fit, but not that of a fighter or ranger. "I asked Talon to bring another identification stone with him. I was hoping ours was just broke, but it's reading the same.""What do you think is wrong?" Talon asks."I'm thinking we just have to wait until he recovers. I have heard of cases where the stone didn't work. Powerful spells can hide or wipe a person clean. I doubt he's a spy or a criminal. Spells like that are just too high level if, they're used at all. My best guess is, there is just some disconnect with him being unconscious. When he wakes, we can ask him or use the stone again then."I find myself waking up in a hospital bed. The attending Doctor finds it odd that he cannot identify my class. An Officer says I’m a Hero for saving a girl from being kidnapped, but he’s asking too many questions for my liking. I know an accusing tone when I hear it. I don’t remember any of it and I need to find my way home.Author’s notes. Original work. First draft and update of chapters 1-16. Inspired by various fantasy games and books. Written with a focus on character development and interaction. Combat, progression, leveling, classes, but no numbers or stats. I’ll try to keep the language clean, PG-13, no smut. I’m in the US, writing in English. Almost fifty chapters are completed as I pen this introduction. I intend to complete this story or at least bring it to a proper ending. I have a destination in mind. I find as I write, doors and ideas open, while others close and are discarded. The tentative release schedule will be once a week. I'm new to creating. My apologies now while I learn. I have not settled on a book cover or artwork, still looking for something that fits. Registered & Protected #20VjeKDv2U6nynW6
