"Dumbledore, I need your advice" I almost ran into his office and sat down on the chair opposite him."What is it Severus" he said a confused look formed on his face."that new girl y/n, I feel like I know her it's like i've met her before, I'm drawn to her and i don't know what to do." Dumbledore looked at me with a face I've seen before..he did this before telling people news."I knew this was going to happen" replied Dumbledore calmly. "your drawn to her because you have met her before, she was someone else Severus, someone you loved dearly. I'm not going to tell you who but I think you should figure it out on your own". I nodded, said thank you and left. Thoughts filled my head and I couldn't help but go back to the hospital to see her face once again.

Y/N POINT OF VEIW

I woke up in the hospital bed my sides sore and my head aching, I sat up and in the chair next to me was Snape looking at me like he cared about me."how are you feeling y/n" he asked. This time he didn't stutter saying my name and I smiled replying with "I feel ok, my sides and head hurt, how are you Severus?" I did it, I called him by his first name. His shocked face soon turned into a smile." I'm doing well, i'm just glad you're ok" I smiled back at him with a cute grin and he chuckled,"wow" I said laughing slightly. "What, do i look strange?" he replied obviously nervous "its nothing bad its just that i've never heard you laugh before, in that case I don't think anyone has" He smiled once again stood up and said "Thats because you're different y/n" He walked off his black cloak soaring behind him. Wow that man walks fast I thought to myself. Soon enough Madam Pomfrey comes over with a dish full of brown goo, I look at it and scrunch my face with disgust. "well it's not supposed to look nice is it" a sound of annoyance in her voice. I chugged it down as fast as I could trying to ignore the taste. "You should be better Miss Black you may now leave"

Just in time for breakfast! I speed walked down the hall trying to catch up with Draco who was too busy in his conversation to hear me yell at him when i collided with something tall and dark. I fell but before I hit the ground a large hand caught my wrist and pulled me back up, it was Snape. "Slow down y/n we wouldn't want you getting another injury would we" He looked me up and down. "sorry sev-" I looked around me and saw people instantly realising my mistake. "I mean Professor" I looked down at the floor scared he was going to be angry, but instead he lifted my chin up. "Don't worry, i'm just glad you're ok. Don't be late for class Miss Black" he winked laughing and walked off in his usual speedy manor. I walked into the great hall and sat down with Draco. 

"What the hell y/n where were you and why do you have bruises on your face? Did someone hit you because if they did then I can get my fath-" I cut him off "Draco i'm ok, I was at Madam Pomfrey's for the night as some stupid gryfindors beat me up until i couldn't walk" I said lowering my head in embarrassment "But if you couldn't walk then how did you get there?" Draco asked his eyes flickered to the staff table then back at yours."Snape?!" he almost yelled "Shushhhh" I covered his mouth with my hand " and besides it's not like that, it's almost like he's my older brother looking out for me" Draco raised an eyebrow in disbelief "I'm surprised that miserable man has a heart if i'm being honest with you y/n. And out of everyone why Snape?" How many questions, jeez this boy knows how to talk. "Seve- I mean Snape is nicer then you think Malfoy" I looked at him with a teasing grin, he laughed back then froze with realisation. "oh my y/n you call him Severus? like he actually lets you? merlin he must like you"

After eating me and Draco have potions together, as he finally passed the exams to do advanced. We walked into class and Severus gives me a small subtle smile, I smiled back and took my seat next to Draco, who still surprisingly had even more questions. "did you see that y/n he smiled at you" Draco looks at you his eyes full of confusion and excitement, "ok and? He does that a lot more than you think" I rolled my eyes. " I didn't even know the man had emotions" said Draco still shocked. The bell rung . I go to pack my stuff but get stopped by Severus' voice "Miss Black would you care to stay behind" He looked at me not giving anything away but also making sure not to worry me."what could he want" Draco says still packing up. "If I knew I would tell you" God that kid annoyed me, he had so many questions.
