《Bushes - A Hot Chelle Rae Fanfic (Ryan/OC)》Chapter 7

Maddie got up from the couch and made her way to the back of the bus. She dug around for a few minutes trying to find her phone. Once she did, she saw she had no missed calls. Of course her parents hadn't called her. She wasn't expecting them to, just hoping. She missed them, that was certain, but it as bad as it sounds, she'd rather be here with Ryan than at home. As she threw her phone down, Ryan came back there, too. His hair was still damp from the shower.
"Don't worry, Maddie, they'll call." He said wrapping his arms around her.
"Maybe." It was nice to cling to even the slightest bit of hope. He kissed her forehead and pulled away, grabbing her hand.
"Where are we going?" She asked, as he pulled her to the door.
"I don't know, let's just see where we end up." He replied with a grin. She returned his smile as they stepped outside into the cool night's air.
"Do you regret leaving with me?" Ryan asked suddenly. Maddie stopped walking, pulling Ryan to a stop as well.
"Absolutely not! Why would you even ask me that?"
He bit his lip before answering. " I don't know, it's just... Your family and friends haven't talked to you since you left. And I wanted to make sure you wanted to be here with me, because I would completely understand if you wanted to go back."
"Ryan, I don't need anyone else as long as I have you. As cliche as that sounds, it's 100% true."
He smiled, his dark brown eyes lighting up and pressed his lips against hers.
"I'm glad to hear it," he whispered, wrapping his arm around her waist.

"I have a feeling this is going to be a great summer." Maddie said quietly, leaning her head on his shoulder.
She knew it was going to be way better than it would've at home. But she was tired of thinking about that, and wanted to live in the present. So, she pushed all the thoughts out of her head, and focused on Ryan's arm around her, his big smile, and messy light brown hair. Yes, life was great she decided.
They walked for awhile longer, then decided to go back, as a cold wind came about. When they entered the bus, they realized they were gone longer than they thought. Jamie and Ian were already in their bunks, and Nash was passed out on the couch, a bottle of grey goose nuzzled next to him. They both smirked at that sight, and went into the bunk they were sharing.
"I love you," Ryan breathed into Maddie's ear, wrapping his arms around her.
"I love you, too." She replied giving him a light kiss. As soon as her eyes were closed, she was asleep, enveloped in his warmth.
A/N I know, I know it's been like a month and you all probably hate me by now! I'm sooo sorry! School has just been crazy busy, and I got sidetracked ): yeah, and incase you can't tell by this crappy chapter, I also had/have major writers block. So, if you have any suggestions. Please comment them! :D
And yeah, I'm changing the POV to 3rd person now.. I like writing that way better!

The Legion of Nothing
Nick Klein is your average high school geek--if you can still count as average when your grandfather is a retired superhero, and you've been trained in the martial arts by his friend, a mysterious, immortal mercenary. After his grandfather dies, Nick inherits the last version of the Rocket suit, powered armor that allows him to shrug off bullets, smash through walls, and manipulate sound. Along with it comes the base of his grandfather's superhero team including the team's jet and trophies from forty years of fighting criminals and aliens. Together, Nick and his friends, descendants of his grandfather's teammates, attempt to bring back a superhero team that was originally formed during World War 2. Along the way they'll face the normal problems of high school (bullies, homework, and dating), and the less normal problems like supervillians and mysteries leftover from their grandparents' past. As a story, it uses the conventions of all eras of comics from the 1940s on, ranging from serious to silly. If you're hoping for a grim and gritty story, this isn't it. The Legion of Nothing first debuted on my website legionofnothing.com in 2007. In that period it's updated more than 900 times, is still running, and has had millions of pageviews. The first two years have been released as an ebook, receiving good reviews on Amazon and Goodreads. I hope you'll enjoy it, and that you'll review it and comment.
