Dash's POV
"Dash please" Shaun pleaded
"I told you no, I'm not letting her stay in my pack or better yet near my son" I growled at him now getting irritated, we've been arguing about this for hours and Angelo seems to be on his boat now.
"She has nowhere to go, you of all people know fully well that she has no family apart from Cage." Angelo stated causing Shaun to growl.
"She has us too, we are her family." He growled.
"Both of you shut up, I said she's not staying and that's final." I rubbed my temples getting a headache from them and my wolf who kept arguing with me on the same issue.
"You can't separate a son from his mother, Cage might be mad at her now but her won't be forever and how do you think he'll react when he finds out that his father kicked his mother who has nowhere to go out of the pack to heaven knows where." Shaun taunted
"Yeah, he'll hate you for sure." Angelo added.
"OK OK fine, she can stay as long as she stays away from my house, my son and me." I sighed knowing they had a valid point.
"Really!" They looked at me wise eyed.
"Yes just get out" Not needing me to say it twice they left and Scar gave me some peace. Sighing, I rubbed my temples and leaned back into my chair.
"Alpha, there's a parcel for you." One of the house helps told me when she entered my office.
"From?" I asked
"It has no name."
"OK, give it to me." I told her and she immediately put a box on my desk. Judging from the faint scent it had, it was from Rosalie.

"Open it" Scar urged as I was contemplating whether or not to open it.
Taking a deep breathe, I unsealed the box and for the lilac envelope that sat on to of the other things.
"Read it"
"I know just shut up!" I growled shutting Scar out of my head. I opened the envelope and pulled out the matching paper with her perfect cursive handwriting printed on it in her signature black ink. Sitting back in my chair I begun to read it.
Dear Dash.....
I paused laughing at the last sentence, it was true, just from the first few times I had spent with Cage, I could tell he had one hell of a cocky attitude. I continued reading the letter.
After finishing the letter, I folded it nicely and placed it in my drawer, I didn't know how to feel about it if I'm being honest, I should have been happy as she was no longer part of either mine or my sons life but I didn't fell happy in fact I was far from it.
"Don't pretend, she left because of you, my mate is gone because of you, asshole!" Scar barked before blocking me out.
I sighed getting up and leaving my office only to feel a strong impact on my cheek that landed me on the ground with a thud.
"This is all your fault!" Shaun barked angrily, his veins looking as though they would pop out of his arms and neck from the rate that was all too clear on his face.
"You are such an asshole!" He punched me again "now let me see you tell your son you separated him from his poor mother you motherfucker" he kicked me in the stomach making me groan and clench it out of pain. He tried to kick me again but Angelo held him back earning him a black eye and bruises as Shaun attacked him too. Some guards came and pulled him away from us taking him out.

"Fuck" Angelo groaned as we both got up.
Not saying a word, I went back into my office and locked the door behind me, I have to admit, Shaun's words hit me hard, harder than the punches and kick he had given me.
"I can't believe she actually left." Penelope sighed
"Don't act all devastated" Shaun scoffed under his breath but we all heard him thanks to our enhanced hearing.
"Shaun" Charlie gasped
"What" he rolled his eyes, "you know it's true, y'all gave her no choice but to leave, you treated her like shit, you made her feel unwanted!"
"Shaun" I tried
"Oh don't even Shaun me, you are too busy trying to remove the speck in her eye when you haven't removed the plunk in your fucking eye."
"She took my son from me!" I growled
"Yeah, the same kid you raped her to conceive, or did you forget that's what happened, did you forget that you raped her mercilessly, without even hearing her side of the story."
"Dude" Angelo chimed in but we all knew it was a mistake.
"You, she thought of you as a big brother that she never had and you, just like this fucker treated her like she's nothing, completely nothing, you caring now won't make the slightest difference, ever and don't get me started on you two" he pointed at Charlie and Penelope. "Yea Ros made mistakes yes she wasn't the perfect friend but can you blame her, the girl's been through shit that neither of you will ever understand, you were supposed to be there for her but no, you go on and tell her that her son is better off without her in his life, telling her she doesn't deserve to be loved when y'all know we are the only family she has ever had, that's just bitter, and now, whatever the fuck will happen to her will be thanks to your actions." He finished and left my office where all of us had gathered.

Please note: the Sexual Content tag is there due to a single brief plot-relevant scene, which has a warning at the beginning. For other details, read the full description below. Rating breakdown, since that should be public info: 5 x 5*, 2 x 4.5*, 1 x 0.5* During a blackout, a frail and ragged old woman stops to ask for a glass of water from a backyard barbecue party. Given a good supper instead, she looks around the group, and tells them, "Be who and what you truly are." Days later, seven of the people from the barbecue find themselves drawn into a trap laid by a pair of wizards and their accomplices, who kidnap them into a bubble reality. All seven, who have known each other all their lives, are informed that they are not in fact entirely human: they have active fae blood, due to a series of conditions culminating with the blessing of the elderly fae woman. The transformation into fae form comes as a shock: all seven, whether originally female or male, find themselves now unreasonably beautiful women. More urgent even than that, though, is their captivity. Getting back to the real world is a higher priority than this metamorphosis that rapidly begins to feel natural... but this is only the first step, as the diverse types of fae blood they carry begin to surface. With no resources except themselves, how can they escape this prison? If they succeed, how can they possibly reclaim their lives? Just how many other faelings have been kidnapped, anyway, and what happened to them? And is there a way to make sure that their captors never put anyone else through this? Back in the real world, Kayla, who learned long ago to trust her gut instincts, is absolutely certain that something is very wrong. The pattern in the list of missing friends is easy to spot, but makes no sense at all. Then a young woman turns up at the backyard gate who knows more than she should, and even though her explanation makes even less sense, every instinct tells Kayla that Riley is her only way to get them back. If they're not quite what they were, well, that's a bridge to cross later... Just a little note: I'm a big believer in endings that are upbeat but not candy-coated, and not a fan of grim-and-gritty or of glamorized violence. These are adults in a difficult situation. However, no one gets raped, and the physical violence is, all things considered, fairly minimal. There is some harassment, sexual and otherwise, and also some mild restraint and mild verbal abuse. Complicating factors are generally wizardly or fae in nature. If I need to warn you about gender in this being all over the map, some of it reality-based rather than fantasy-based, highly diverse sexuality, or that there is (especially later) some indirect fetish/BDSM imagery and honest character discussion, then you probably should just avoid everything I write. :-) Also available on Scribble Hub.
