(It must have gotten deleted this is part 1)
Y/n stood there staring off into the battlefield, Prime barked orders running out to battle Megatron, Bulkhead screamed at her to move, Bumblebee and Arcee fired at the cons rapidly. But yet everything slowed down when her optics met the one she loved back on Cybertron. Breakdown. Her optics widen when he raised his firearm in her direction and fired
Crushing weight rammed into her snapping her back into reality as he had aimed for Bulkhead, he had rammed her out of the way of danger out in the open "Stay down!!"
"Bulkhead, NO!"
He ran towards Breakdown firing his cannons fiercely.
"Noooo!!" She screamed over the sound of intense fire.
BOOM.
The world spun as she blacked out. She didn't know what happened but it was silent, the fire seized, no thumping steps, no one was screaming. It was silent. Or it was until she heard his voice from eons ago... or was it in the present?
"You're safe.. I promise."
"NO!" She cried, she jerked up and tumbled off the medberth as Ratchet gasped somewhere near by
"Breakdown..." She murmured as her digits clawed at the floor "No.."
"Y/n, thank primus!" Ratchet sounded overwhelmed with relief
"Ratchet..?" She turned over with a groan
"Please, stay still, I'll move you. your injuries were life threatening!" He pleaded as he slowly helped her sit up
"What happened?"
"The cons tried to scrap you. They threw a bomb and it exploded, everyone's still recovering but I had feared the worse of you.. You were so close to the bomb... What were you thinking?!" He snapped
She sat there staring up at him before glancing away, her face plates darkened. She let the team down all because of Breakdown. But she glanced at her chassis as a hole gaped her abdomen armor as her digits came up and felt it before frowning
"You're lucky to be online." He continued
"How are the others?"
"They're recovering but the only one that was able to stand afterwards was Optimus, he had been busy with Megatron when they set it off, far from the battle site.."
She struggled as she grabbed the berth attempting to stand as Ratchet growled at her but helped her stand as she staggered before standing on her own, her legs off balance from not being used for awhile and her systems malfunctioning. She steadily walked in the main room, Bumblebee laid down just outside the medbay. Bulkhead and Arcee Sat awake, watching her painfully move about.

She glanced at Bulkhead who looked at her right back, but shamefully looked away before seeing Optimus "Optimus.." She cupped her missing piece of armor as she looked up at him.
He glanced back at her "y/n?"
"I take full blame for this and I paid the biggest price but there's still no excuse." She said staring up at him
He looked back at the monitors "what happened was no one's fault, y/n."
"But it was mine! I froze in a dire situation when you needed everyone focused, had I not froze I could of warned everyone!"
He looked back at her "Ratchet will run more diagnostics to find the cause of the glitch."
"But it wasn't a glitch, Optimus, I-" she paused and sighed
"Then what was it?" He asked calmly
She glanced away "I couldn't shoot them.."
"Why?"
"I... It's a very complicated situation.. But Breakdown and I had a past and I couldn't do it.. I couldn't hurt him, but I was in shock, I thought he was offline."
"What could of possibly happened with you and Breakdown?" Arcee arched an optic ridge
"Believe it or not, we actually bonded at one point, but then.. The bond died in my spark and I thought he was offline.. Now he's back and I'm confused." She looked down "It happened long before he thought of becoming a con, he wasn't always the reckless, rust bucket you see now, Arcee." She murmured "But now that I know he's online I have to speak with him, I need to know what happened!" She looked up at Optimus, optics begging for an opportunity "I thought my spark mate offlined for decades only to find out he's online and still with the cons! I might have a chance here, I-I could make him be an autobot!" Hope gleamed in her optics as she stared up at Optimus.
Pitiful optics just stared back "Y/n it is much too dangerous to face him without a battle, I'm afraid I must decline your request."
"But Optimus-!"
"I understand but you put yourself in harms way, perhaps Breakdown no longer feels the same and cut the connection.. I'm sorry, y/n."
"That's not True! I'm sorry Optimus but I know he wouldn't of done that!" She snapped before collapsing to her knees, legs weak from standing and operating on her last energon reserve.

"Y/n. Please you must rest. Your energon is nearly depleted." Ratchet came up behind her and helped her back to the medbay.
When she woke up she hazily glanced around, voices talked nearby from the mainroom but her attention snapped when she heard a familiar voice, but one not belonging to her team mates rather a one-night mate.. She stumbled as she stood up but steadied herself before walking out to the mainroom, there stood the silver bot
"Wheeljack!" She yelped in surprise, the team turned their attention to her
"You know this mech?" Optimus asked
"I- uhm.. Yeah, I do.." She glanced away
"Sweet spark.." He smirked
She softly sighed at the nickname "Wheeljack."
"It's been awhile.." He cocked an optic ridge while placing his servos on his hip plates
"I didn't know you knew Jackie." Bulkhead stated curiously
"Well he sort of rescued me a long time ago.. I haven't talked to him since." She said
"oh yeah, now it gives us time to catch up huh?" He nudged her arm as gentle yet as rough as possible keeping in mind of her physical state
"Sure.. How long will you be staying?"
"Not forever, but awhile." He gave her a wink that only she could see as his signature smirk curled his scarred lip plates.
She mentally shuddered 'He hasn't changed one bit! That little fragger!'
That night she walked to her berthroom and laid down before sighing. They gave him a tour and had their reunion, it was still going on but she didn't want to stay out there. She felt awkward.
A knock on her door.
"Come in." She said tiredly
The door whirred open as she looked over but flinched.
"Hey, sweet spark." He smirked leaning back against the wall
"W-Wheeljack what-"
"I want to pick up where we left off, y/n."
"But-" In a swift move he was near, he climbed up on the berth and towered over her "You do remember don't you?"
she bit her lip plates but nodded. He was a hard mech to resist from.
"Good.." He leaned forward and pressed against her lip plates, he requested entry to her mouth but she denied but quickly remembered how rough he was when he pressed on the fresh weak armor, she cried out in pain giving him the opportunity to latch on as the cry of pain turned to a moan of pleasure.
His kisses ran down her neck cables and every spot he could find that wasn't injured.
His seductive optics graced over her racked frame, something was wrong. He sighed.
"I know the circumstances were tough back then but.. I finally found you again."
"But... Wheeljack, he's alive!"
"Huh?" The mech blinked
"He's online! He's still with the cons but I think I could change his mind.."
He glanced down "So.. What does that mean for us?"
She stared at him "I don't know..." She murmured "I love you both.. Even if we have been apart for eons.. I never stopped loving either of you. Your visit made everything even more complicated." She said as her servo reached up and pet his helm fins "Optimus tried to decline my request to see him, but I'll find him.. I have to. I need to find out what happened. And if the cons changed him.. I guess you know what would happen then."
Wheeljack frowned as he climbed off "I understand, just figure it out soon..." He said before leaving
A few days later she went out driving, confusion was clouding her processor. She loved both mechs.. Wheeljack came along after his piece of spark died and offered comfort, a little too much comfort. When they got close enough, they finally just said it, they loved each other but then had an argument over bonding. How her spark belonged to Breakdown, she still loved him even though he was gone. But then Wheeljack disappeared that night. Only to reunite with him once again a few days ago. A heck of a time to reunite.
She sat there in her alt mode by a cliff. Somewhere far from base, no idea where but pretty far. She sighed as the sun started to set leaving an orange reminiscing glow across the valley. It was gorgeous.
Her thoughts broke apart when the hum of an engine purred nearby very nearby. She looked back with her mirrors only to see a red sports car zoom by on the road. She sighed. How could she possibly choose?

Two Sides
Heroes and monsters are the staples of fantasy. Swords and magic, fairies and dragons, adventures and death; all things went hand in hand in some worlds not our own. Elaine Dawn grew up listening to those stories as a child, imagining, aspiring, yet as she grew she slowly lost her dreams and became detached from what the world could be, slowly becoming one with the world that was. Yet one night she found herself in a dream that became reality, and oh there they were; heroes and monsters, swords of steel, magic of tales, fairies and dragons of old, and adventures that held riches and death both. She had no fantastic magic, no supernatural strength. All she had was herself, her coin, and her life. But that was enough. As she stared into the distance, to the mountain-sized horrors of the night, she smiled and tossed her coin once again.
