《From the Bottom of My Heart, I Love You (gxg) (AU)》Ch.24: Yes

Beatrice agreed to do it just for the charitable work, but not for the purpose of kissing Ava. She wasn't expecting that; she was planning on kissing someone else, but after seeing that recollection of Ava and JC making out during their break and almost having sex, she changed her mind. Beatrice yearned to kiss her and prove to JC that she was capable of more.
Beatrice wanted to get out of there after seeing Ava face to face for the first time because she was dazzled by the recollection. While many students from other institutions arrived to observe, the council president and her childhood best friend were going to kiss for charity work, the two kept glancing at one other.
Beatrice was apprehensive but calm, while Ava was nervously smiling since her twin sister, her friends, and some of their school's pupils were cheering her up. Ava witnessed the girls who admire Beatrice giving her a bad look, and she's not sure if she considers herself fortunate because these people who were wanting to kiss Beatrice ended up kissing her instead.
Even yet, she could sense the discomfort she'd feel anytime she and Beatrice crossed paths, whenever she saw Beatrice. Ava then found her eyes on Beatrice's lips, and the memory of them kissing will be remembered. Ava is now envious of their lovely, luscious lips.
"Are you sure this is what you want to do?" Beatrice had inquired.
"Of course, I mean, what's the harm in that? I was selected from the mystery box." Ava retorted.
"What I meant was that after today, you won't plan to ignore me, right?. That's not what I want; I just got you back." Beatrice was the one who talked. Ava simply fell silent; she understood what the elder girl was saying and found it endearing.

"I'm not going to do that, Bea. I'll keep my word." Ava murmured, softly smiling at the elder girl, who appeared to be nervous.
"Alright! Now begins the fifteen-second countdown." As everyone began to cheer up, the MC yelled.
Beatrice wasted no time, bringing her trembling fingers to Ava's chin and staring her in the eyes while Ava froze. Beatrice could see the fear in her eyes, and Ava could sense the elder girl's anxiety.
"Can I kiss you?" Beatrice inquired, almost in hushed tones, as she looked down on Ava's lips before returning her glance to her eyes. Ava's tummy butterflies were getting crazier.
"Yes." Ava nodded slowly and spoke in hushed tones as well.
Beatrice bridged the gap between them, bringing their lips closer. When they felt each other's lips connect, both of their eyes were closed, and Beatrice felt her entire body heat up, while Ava felt fireworks, which she had never felt before. Beatrice lowered her head to the left and kissed Ava tenderly and deliberately, as if Ava needed to give the older girl permission to stick her tongue in.
'It's fresh, but not strange.' Her lips are so delicate...' Ava pondered her thoughts.
They continued for a few more seconds, almost completely lost in their own little universe, until the alarm rang loudly through the speakers. Beatrice drew back and gazed at Ava, who had her eyes closed but slowly opened them, bringing their gazes back together.
"Wow..." they all said at the same time.
"Isn't it sweltering in here?" The MC inquired, as the audience erupted in applause and clapped their hands.
"Hansen! Hansen! Hansen!" exclaimed the crowd. They began chanting.
"Are you all right?" Beatrice asked, her voice barely audible above Ava's.
"Huh? I'm sorry, but I have to leave. I'll run into you in the dorm." Ava was the one who talked. Waving farewell to Beatrice and shyly smiling at her as she walked away. Her gaze was drawn to the younger girl, who was quiet but had a smirk on her face. Beatrice merely shook her head and grinned within as Ava did her little mannerism.

Her lips were still pressed against hers. Beatrice thought to herself, 'Holy crap, Hansen.' They had the rest of the time to clean up before heading to the after party.
"It's too bad you've never kissed me like that before, even though you say you love me." Beatrice's mood changed as soon as she realized who it was who was speaking.
"Can you tell me what you want?" Beatrice had inquired.
"Hansen, I'm only passing by. Just wanted to say that you did a fantastic job with everything." Quinton responded with a yes.
"Just go, Quinton," Beatrice remarked. She had the expression in her eyes as if she wanted to grip Quinton's neck and choke her until she passed out, making her pay for what she had done.
"Every time I come here, you're enraged, and your eyes don't lie. But believe me when I say that I am not here to ruin anything." Quinton stated his opinion.
"Just don't show up in front of me and I'll be fine." Beatrice replied as she turned around to continue cleaning up. Quinton left as Luna and Lea came.
"You good?" Luna asked.
"What did she tell you?" Lea asked.
"Telling me how I did a good job here." Beatrice replied.
"But you seem so intense still." Lea said.
"Every time she's here, I just wanna hurt her." Beatrice replied.
"We need to drink that out Beatrice! Cause you will come with us at the after party!" Luna said, tapping Beatrice's shoulder.
Beatrice had no choice but to join them, if only to take her mind off Quinton and kiss Ava, which gave her billions of butterflies all over again. Beatrice couldn't get it out of her mind. It's as if she took a drink that was too strong for her.
"Ava, what exactly did you do to me?" Beatrice muttered something to herself.
