Chapter 13

Hanna

After sound check, Maggie leaves almost immediately. That just leaves me, well, and Cam, but where is Cam?

"Pst, Han, I c'mere." Ryan whispers.

I raise my eyebrows in curiosity, and he signals again for me to come over to him.

I slowly walk over to Ryan, and he puts his arm over my shoulder, and whispers in my ear, "I have a surprise for you."

I look curiously up at him again, as he pulls me deeper back stage.

As we keep walking, I see a familiar blob of dark brown hair. For a second, I think it's Morgan, but almost as quickly as I thought it was Morgan, I process that it's Megan Mace.

OH MY GOD MEGAN MACE IS HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I look up at Ryan with an incredulous look, and whisper, "Oh my god, Megan is here?!?!" Ryan knows what a huge fan of Megan and Liz I am.

Megan slowly turns around, with a huge smile on her face.

"Hey, Hanna, I'm Megan." She says, and sticks her hand out at me.

"Hey!" I say with a smile, shaking her hand. I can't believe this is happening! "It's so amazing to meet you!"

"You too!" She says.

"I just want you to know, I think your videos are amazing! I've watched every single one of them since you started putting them up!" I exclaim.

"Thank you so much!" In a second, Liz is walking out with Cameron right behind her.

"Megan, we need a picture," She says, and chuckles a bit. That's one of their rituals; they always take a picture before the show, and put it on twitter or instagram or something. "Hey, I'm Liz." She smiles, and sticks out her hand to me.

"I think she knows who you are, Liz." I hear Ryan "cough".

She gives him a joking glare, and I say, "I'm Hanna."

"It's great to meet you Hanna."

"Oh my gosh, you too!" I exclaim.

"Hey, all of you get in our picture." Liz says, and I give her a question look, but she nods in confirmation. OH MY GOD, LIZ MACE WANTS ME IN A PICTURE WITH THEM THAT THEY'RE GOING TO PUT ON INSTAGRAM!

Ryan, Cam, Liz, Megan, and I all pose for the picture, and then Liz puts it on their account, and tags me in it. Eeek!

"Oh my gosh, guys, I can't believe I'm actually meeting you!" I exclaim, with a huge smile on my face.

"Well believe it, girl." Liz says smirking.

"Oh, and stop treating us like celebrities." Megan points out. "We are normal you know."

"I know, but it's so cool to actually be talking to you! I've gone to so many of your concerts, and of course they were amazing, but to actually have a normal conversation with you is different."

"Well, why don't we go out to lunch tomorrow so we can just hang out?" Megan suggests.

"Huh? Come again?"

"I'll take that as a yes." Liz smiles.

"Yes." I say.

"You guys are on in 5." Jason says to Megan and Liz.

"We'll see you guys in a little bit." Liz says, as they walk out onto the stage, and I hear a huge roar of screams. I so wish I could watch them.

"Hey, Han, go out there, watch them." Ryan smiles.

"You sure?"

"Of course!" He says, and almost pushes me out from back stage, and into the crowd.

I'm in the front row, and Megan keeps smirking at me. She knows exactly how I'm feeling right now; overwhelmed because I'm at their concert, but also because she knows I'm freaking out inside because she invited me to lunch tomorrow.

The girls sing all of my favorite songs, Worlds Gunna End, Old School Love, Are You Happy Now, Maybe Possibly, Happy Never After, and of course, Bad For Me. They even sang their two Hot Chelle Rae covers!

Right before they get off stage, I slip backstage, and back to Ryan.

"Hey," He says, smiling. "Have a good time?"

"Yeah, they're great!" I say, returning the smile, as Ryan pulls me into a hug.

I rest my head on his shoulder, and go to say something to him, until I hear Ian, Jamie, and Nash cooing, and standing the three of them in a close group.

"Thanks, guys." Ryan says.

"Ry, we're on in 5 minutes." Jamie says.

"Okay, okay." He says to his brother, and then to me, "I'll see you in a little bit."

"Okay, good luck." I say, and give him a peck on the cheek, as he walks away with the guys.

After Ryan leaves, that only leaves Cam and I, until Megan and Liz are able to join us.

There's a bit of an awkward silence exchanged between Cam and I. I'd love to ask him how his brother is doing and everything, but I don't know if that's reaching too much, and that to him, it would be invading his privacy.

I quietly begin to sing Bad For Me, and Cam says, "Wow, Han, that sounds really good!"

I look at him with a surprised expression. "Really? Thanks!"

He returns the smile, and says, "You're welcome. So, how have things been? I can tell something happened between you and RK." He then smirks.

"Yeah, yeah." I roll my eyes in a joking manner.

"Well, things have been better." I say, with a sad expression on my face.

"What happened, Han?"

"My dad... he, uh, got in a really bad car accident. He, he passed away." I tell him, trying my hardest not to cry.

Cam puts his hand on my shoulder, and then says, "Oh my gosh, Hanna, I'm so sorry! C'mere." He finishes, and pulls me into a hug.

"Thanks, Cam. It means a lot, you know." He smiles in return, and then I ask, "So, uh, how's your brother? Your family?"

"You know, of course, things have been much better in the past, but everything is getting back in place now."

I smile gratefully at him, and say, "I'm glad, Cam, I really am."

He's about to respond when someone says, "I hate to interrupt your bonding moment, but you know, Cam, you're supposed to be out there to help them." Liz instructs.

"Well thank you, Lizzie, I did not know that." He smirks, and then pulls her into a hug.

"Well, we're going to leave you two love birds alone," Megan says, and pulls my arm and drags me toward the rides.

I SO CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS HAPPENING!

First, Megan and I go on the log ride, or whatever you wanna call that thing. Over the course of the ride, you get two pictures taken. The first one we put our hands in the air, and make a face like we're screaming. And for the second picture, we make a piece sign, and then make a strange face. Of course we buy all of the pictures!

After the log ride, we go on the Gravitron. In all honesty, I hate spinning rides, but Megan practically begged me to on, and I just couldn't say no...

After the Gravitron, we go on the Tilt a Whorl; the only spinning ride I actually like.

When we get off of that, Megan suggests we go in the photo booth.

We get four pictures taken, one making the duck face, (:P) one making a heart with our hands, one just smiling, and the last one hugging like we've known eachother for years.

"Oh my gosh, Megan, this is so much fun." I say, beaming.

"Ah, I know right? It was so great to meet you!" She exclaims. Whaaaattt!

"You too!"

"I'm really looking forward to lunch tomorrow, any suggestions about where we should go?"

"Not really..." I say, sounding dumb. UGH.

"It's alright, I'll just make Liz figure it out." She smirks.

"Nice, Megan." I joke.

"Yes, yes, I'm the good sister, right?" She winks.

"Yes, my dear, the good sister." I say, giving her the look she'd given me before. "I meant to ask, when is your next show with HCR?"

"Well," She says, sitting down on a bench. "We have a show with them in Tulsa in two weeks, we have a show in Tampa with them, and a show in Atlanta with them, and then in November at Six Flags in Massachusetts with HCR, A Rocket To the Moon, Kat Graham, and the Neon Trees, which I'm super pumped about. We've only ever once played a show with ARTTM, and they were awesome!"

"Ah, I've never seen them live, but I absolutely adore them!" I say. "I've always wanted to see them live."

"Believe me, you will not be disappointed! They are even better live than they are recorded."

"I've heard! I'm super pumped!"

"Aaannnd you'll get to meet them!" She exclaims. That had never occurred to me, and the expression on my face changes. "I take that as I 'Oh my god!! I can't wait for November!!!!!'"

"Mhm!" I say, and smile at her. I still can't believe I'm hanging with Megan right nowww!

"You wanna go back to the show? HCR is going to be off soon." She says, looking a bit disappointed.

"Suree, let's go." I say in the same tone. All good times have to end, right? :/

Like the chapter? I love that Megan and Liz were in this, and that A Rocket to The Moon was mentioned! :D They're some of my other favorite groups other than HCR.

And having Megan and Liz in this story totally fits because Liz IS dating Cam! And I think that they're totally adorable together! :D

Then, ARTTM fit in because Megan and Liz played a show with them a little while back ;)
