《Let Me Love You (Lauren Jauregui/You)》Chapter 3

I was currently at the wrap party for the movie I just finished shooting. It was 11pm and I'd been here since 7. I turned to one of my co-stars and close friends Jennifer Lawrence (a/n: I had to include her in this shes amazing), 'Hey Jen, I'm gonna head home'
'Aaawwwwwwww, come on y/n, the party just started', she pleaded, clearly a little drunk.
'I know but I have to be on a plane at 2 and I haven't packed yet'
'Ugh! You're such a party pooper y/n'
I laughed at her drunkenness. 'I'll see you later, don't drink too much!' I shouted over the music as I hugged her goodbye and went to leave.
'I already did!' she shouted back, 'go get you a girlfriend'
Jen was one of the few people who actually knew who I was referring to in 'the tweet', and as a result had been teasing me about it. If it had been anyone else it would have annoyed me, but since teasing me is her no. 1 favourite thing to do I let it slide, besides I know shes just joking and she knows I don't really want to talk about it right now, so it's cool.
-----------------------
When I got home, I quickly got changed into comfy clothes, basically sweat-pants and a massive hoodie I'm not sure actually belongs to me, and started to pack. I know what you're thinking, I left packing REALLY late, but I'm one of the most unorganised people on the planet, and my 'packing' consists of shoving basically every item of clothing I own into a massive suitcase and sitting on it until it closes. By 11:45pm I had everything I needed packed, at least I was like 85% sure I had everything I needed, but if I didn't I could just go buy whatever it was I forgot when I arrived. It wouldn't be the first time I had to use someone else's tooth brush until we got somewhere I could buy one.
I decided I should probably start heading to the airport so got in my car and started driving there (don't worry, I haven't had a drop of alcohol so I'm not drink driving, besides I'm only 18 so legally I can't any way, not here at least, I can back home in London, but that's besides the point, I'm not drunk, that's all that matters).
A few minutes later I arrived at the airport and parked my car in the long stay car park, got my bag out of the back and walked to my terminal checking in area thing (a/n: I don't travel much I'm not exactly sure how airports work). Once I'd checked my suitcase I took my carry on through security and went to go sit by my flight boarding deck, or whatever it's called. I was wearing my huge hoodie, with the hood up and sunglasses so nobody had recognised me yet, which was good because I didn't have any security. I usually travel with at least one guy but I didn't want to drag them with me just for the flight, when they'd have to fly right back again.
Before long, my flight was called and I was on my way to D.C, which is where they were starting their tour (a/n: I know they didn't actually start there but this isn't real so just go with it).
-------------------
A few hours later, I arrived in D.C, got off the plane and was walking through the airport after collecting my suitcase, trying to find the girls. They had insisted on picking me up themselves. I soon spotted them all standing by the windows desperately jumping up and down trying to spot me. Dinah, being the tallest, was the first to find me weaving my way through the crowds of people walking out, she shouted out my name and they all started running towards me screaming out greetings with their arms raised in the air. Within seconds I was engulfed in a massive group hug, with someones legs wrapped around my waist, and everyone else's arms and legs intertwined together. Inevitably we ended up falling to the ground, with me on the bottom, creating a massive pile of screaming girls on the floor, causing people to have to walk around whilst tutting at us. Gradually we got back up and they all individually gave me hugs saying that it was great to see me again and that we were going to have so much fun on this tour. Last to hug me was Lauren. As she pulling me into her, I inhaled her sent, she smelt as lovely as ever. I soon realised we had been hugging for a little too long and the other girls were all giving each other looks, we pulled away and Lauren looked down to the ground, blushing. I loved that I had this effect on her, I'd get my way eventually, she can't deny her feelings forever.

We walked outside, my suitcase being dragged along my Normani and my carry on slung over Ally's shoulder, and got in the car.
After driving for about 10 minutes, we arrived at what seemed like just the side of the road somewhere. Their massive bus was parked up with the crew bus behind it.
We all walked onto the bus and I put my stuff away taking out some of it and putting it into my bunk. There were 12 bunks all together, and obviously we didn't need all of them so the 6 bottom ones were free, 2 of which were filled with food that we could snack on whenever we liked. The other 4 had random stuff in, 1 hand a large number of someones shoes and the others were mostly free, but would probably end up being filled with gifts from fans. My bunk was at the back of the bus, which I wasn't mad about, it meant that I was away from the kitchen and front living room area, which meant I was away from any noise of people making food. It also meant that I was right opposite Lauren. I like to think that she had purposely chosen that bunk just because it was opposite me but that's probably not true.
'MANIIIIII!!!!!' I heard Dinah shout, 'HURRY THE FUCK UP, IT'S OUR FIRST SHOW AND YOU'RE GONNA MAKE US LATE'
'Okay girl, jesus, the bus isn't that big, no need to scream it!' Normani replied from the bathroom where she was doing her hair ready for the sound check and meet 'n greet.
I laughed to myself, this tour was definitely going to be interesting.
The other 3 girls had already left and once Mani and Dinah left it would just be me, I wasn't exactly sure what I was going to do while they were at the meet 'n greet, but I had planned to go watch the sound check, they were always fun.
(a/n: I've never had the pleasure of actually going to a Fifth Harmony concert, let alone the sound check or meet 'n greet, so I'm not actually totally sure which order they do them in. I think the do the sound check then the meet 'n greet but I don't actually know, so lets just say, for fanfic sake, they do it this way round, please don't judge me if I'm wrong, I'm a good person really)
I headed out after Dinah and Mani and started to walk towards the area all the fans were standing in waiting for the girls to come out. As I was walking over a man I recognised as a member of the girls security, though I could not name him, approached me.
'Miss y/l/n, I should come with you, these fans can get pretty crazy sometimes, wouldn't want you getting mobbed', he said.
'Oh no that's okay, I'll be fine'
'I'm sure you will be but just in case'
'Okay...', I gave in, not wanting to argue with this big man.
He handed me a lanyard with a big laminated piece of paper attached to it.
'What's this?' I asked, turning it over in my hands
'Just so we know you are definitely you, can't be letting anyone into the dressing rooms with the girls', he told me
'Surly no one would try and pretend to be me to get into the dressing rooms...?'
'You never know Miss y/l/n'
I raised my eyebrows at him and he just nodded and smiled. We continued walking toward the standing area when I remember I didn't know his name.

'Sorry, I should probably know, but what's your name again?', I asked sheepishly
'David Johnson, but you can just call me Dave', he told me
'Okay, well, it's nice to meet you Dave'.
We walked into the back of the area and it was already buzzing with excited Harmonizers waiting for the girls to come out. I was immediately recognised by several of the fans as I walked up behind them and they turned around running up to me and asking for pictures and autographs.
Then all of a sudden they were all gone and were running back up to the stage, where the girls were all walking on and taking their seats.
I started to walk forwards but stopped dead in my tracks, as Lauren walked on stage I couldn't help but stop and stare, I hadn't seen her get ready so hadn't seen what she was wearing until now, but, wow. She looked absolutely fucking AMAZING. She looked over to me and saw me staring so gave me a wink while smirking, which, of course, did not help my situation and, in fact, just made my mouth fall open wider than it already was. After a few moments I realised I probably looked like a complete idiot standing there frozen with my mouth wide open, so I got myself together and continued walking forwards to where everyone else was standing.
The sound check was good, I think, I mean I wasn't really paying attention, Lauren looked so good, it was impossible to focus on anything other than her, and her butt, and her abs, which were on show because she was wearing a crop top. She just has such a perfect body, I can't help but stare.
After they finished I walked backstage and met them.
'That was great guys, you were all amazing!', I told them as I ran towards them all.
'Really? I didn't think you were paying attention, too busy gawking at Lauren', Camila teased me
'Shut up', I told her while blushing, while Lauren just looked at the ground, blushing also. 'Seriously guys, you're all so talented, you make me wish I could sing'
'Who says you can't?' Ally asked.
'Anyone whose ever had the misfortune of hearing me sing' I stated
'Come on, you can't be that bad' Normani said, shoving my shoulder lightly
'Trust me, I am, I have absolutely no musical talent, why'd you think I've never been in a musical?', I said laughing, 'Lauren knows, she made me sing once, she didn't believe me either, but you do now right?', I turned to were she was stood
'Huh?', she said shaking herself out of a daze, it looked like she had been staring at me, but I don't know, 'sorry, I zoned out, what'd you say?'
I could see Dinah and Camila smirking at each other, and looking at Lauren with accusatory stares.
'I said, I'm a terrible singer, you know because you made me sing for you once, and now you regret it'
'Right, yeah, no, y/n is a terrible singer, she butchered some of my favourite songs, I'll never be able to hear them the same again', she said laughing at the memory.
*Flashback*
'Come on y/n, you can't be that bad', Lauren prompted me as we lay, half naked, in bed at her apartment in Miami
'Trust me Lo you really don't want to hear me sing', I said, knowing how truly bad I am, 'I have absolutely no musical talent at all, unless you count playing the flute when I was like 6'
'Just sing something for me, let me make my own decision about whether you're bad or not', she pleaded
'Fine, but you'll regret this', I gave in, sitting up trying to think of a song I knew the lyrics to
I took a breath and started to sing 'Blue Velvet' by Lana Del Rey. Within seconds Lauren's hands were over my mouth, silencing me.
'Okay, I believe you, you can stop now', she said, slowly removing her hands from my mouth.
Once her hands were gone I went back to singing, choosing to sing 'Video Games' this time. She leapt up to try and stop me again but I stood up on the bed and jumped over her onto the floor, continuing to sing terribly. I decided to change songs, and started to sing 'Work From Home'
'Oh come on y/n! Seriously! I'm not gonna be able to get through that without remembering this and laughing now!', she whined whilst trying to catch me.
I ran out into the living room and and stood on the couch singing terribly at the top of my lungs. Then all of a sudden I was tackled to the ground and she pushed her lips against mine, silencing me. I couldn't help but smile into our kiss, causing her to groan and pull away.
'Why do you always have to do that?'
'I can't help it. Kissing you makes me happy so I smile, it's just natural Lo', I replied, 'would you rather I started crying?' I joked. She pushed my shoulder and climbed off of me, leaving my lying on the floor missing her touch.
*end flashback*
I looked down to the ground remembering the memory, while it was happy, thinking of it made me sad. I didn't know when we'd be able to do stuff like that again, and I didn't want to have to wait.
Soon enough the girls were all ushered off to do the meet 'n greet and I started heading back to the bus, meeting a few fans on the way and taking pictures with them.
I sorted out a few more of my things, then started watching a movie whilst they were at the meet 'n greet. Then when they got back we had some food and hung out around the venue until they had to go and do their show, which was absolutely amazing, not to mention they all looked hot as hell, especially Lauren. After the show we just hung out a bit more then went to sleep.
Hopefully things between me and Lauren would get better, I didn't want to have to have this slightly awkward tension between us for the next 2 months.

Storm
The Storm started six months ago, and no one knows where it came from. All they know is it hasn't stopped for a single day, and you better follow the one rule: Don't go out in the rain. Hiding in the broken building of her old high-school, seventeen-year-old Marylou is one of the few to have survived this far. She doesn't believe in the Ghosts -- shapeless creatures said to roam under the rain outside -- but, to be fair, she doesn't really believe in anything except booze and the unconditioned love of her ball python snake, Evil Noodle. Chance brings Marylou together with Amy, a mysterious girl with an even more mysterious past, and Dean and Ray, two young men running what they call 'the last pizza place in California'. As the Storm rages on stronger by the day, the foursome will have to make a choice: keep hiding under roof after roof, waiting for starvation, or set out to the road and face whatever hides out there, under the Storm.
