I step into the school hallways with my palms already sweating. It was only day one of the week and I'm not prepared.

I walk into math class and sit down. Rodrick comes in a few minutes later and comes up to my desk. "So, did you actually sleep last night?" He says. "Depends, did you actually study?" I tell him.

"Hey! I studied so much yesterday" he assured me. His friend Chris walks into the room and Rodrick says "Goodluck with the exam, Don't fail it'll be super embarrassing if I beat you" Rodrick says while he goes to sit down next to Chris.

Madison had already walked in and sat down next to me. "So I guess you and Rodrick made up?" She asks, I nod.

Mr.Potter walked in and the exam began.

At one point during the exam I look over to Rodrick from the other side of the class. He smirks at me mouthing the words "you got this" I smile and look back at my paper.

I think I did pretty average. I know I didn't fail but I definitely didn't ace it as well. I was one of the last people to finish the exam.

I step into the hallway to see Kim and Madison waiting for me outside the biology class.

"You look dead" Madison says.

"I think I am" I tell her.

"You guys think math is bad? I just took the biology exam and it's safe to say I failed" Kim tells us.

Damn. Kim was the smartest in our group for sure and if she thinks it was hard I probably have no hope.

Rodrick spots us and comes up to us. "Hey how was your exam?" He asks.

Kim looks really confused "I though you and Rodri-" She tries to say but Madison signals to her to shut up. Kim didn't know we were friends again.

Rodrick realized what she was trying to say and said "Oh we're cool now, isn't that right y/n?". I nod along.

*ringg*

The next exam I had was geography, I actually didn't study that much because I was already fairly confident in the material. I wave goodbye to my friends and walk into geography class. I hated geography, it was one of the only classes I didn't have any friends in.

During the middle of my exam I look around and see Heather Hills cheating. She had written the words on her knee and was pulling up her skirt a little to look at them. I roll my eyes at her.

She turns around from where she was sitting and looks at me. I quickly look away from her and continue focusing on my exam. I hated Heather Hills but I honestly don't care enough to try and get her into trouble. I was just hoping karma would happen and the teacher would see her.

Unfortunate, he didn't.

After I turned in my exam I went to lunch. All my friends hadn't finished their exams yet so I sit alone.

I wasn't sitting for long because Kim and Madison quickly join me. They start complaining about their tests and I tell them about Heather Hills.

"I'm not surprised, there's no way she's been passing her exams by herself" Madison says. I see Rodrick sitting down next to his friends.

He must've made a joke or something because his friends around him start laughing.

"Y/N?" Kim says. I snap back into reality, "Yeah??" I ask.

"Woww, we've been trying to get your attention for a solid minute. Stop staring at Rodrick and talk to your friends." Madison says teasingly. "Girl we get that you like him but seriously, chill" Kim says. Kim and Madison both high-five each other and I roll my eyes.

"Wait, dont turn around but Rodricks staring at you" Kim says and I immediately turn around. Rodrick was not.

They both start laughing at me. "We're just teasing you y/n. You know we love you, even if you're kinda obsessed with Rodrick" Madison says.

"I hate you guys" I say smiling.

"Anyway.. as I was trying to say before you got distracted, Can you come over for a sleepover at my place on Saturday night?" Kim asks.

"Yeah sure, i'm down" I say. "Me too" Madison adds.

"Lets hope the exams don't kill me before then" I tell my friends.

As lunch was about to be over I went over to go keep my tray of food. I was walking up to where we keep our trays when I accidentally step on my shoelace and spill my food all over someone. I heard a loud scream coming from none other than Heather Hills who was covered in my leftover spaghetti on the floor.

Just. My. Luck.

"WATCH IT FREAK" Heather shouts at me. "I'm so sorry Heather, it was an accident. I just slipped-" I panic. I grab a napkin and go to try and help clean her up but she grabs it from me.

"Don't even touch me. Do you know how much this outfit costs? It's probably worth more than your house." She snaps at me.

"I was only trying to help-" I defend. "Just get away from me" Heather says standing up.

She walks away from me.

Even though she was annoying, I felt so bad for her. I really didn't mean to do this.

I go back to where we were sitting and I tell my friends what just happened.

Madison laughs "Honeslty, she deserves it though". "Yeah but I still feel bad, I have biology next and i'll apologize to her then." I tell them.

I sat down in biology waiting for Heather to come so I can apologize to her with the mimi-script I created in my head.

Strangely, she never showed up to class and I just took my exam. That exam was way harder than I thought and I look over at Rodrick who looked dead. At least i'm not the only one.

I barely finished the exam in time and I unconfidently handed it over to my Mr.Potter.

The next class was PE. Thankfully we didn't have a PE exam.

I show up to class a little late because of how long it took me to finish the exam. As I had just finished changing into the baggy PE clothes I saw Heather walking up to me.

"You bitch, I know what you did." She tells me. "I already apologized Heather, what more do you want?" I ask her. "Not that you idiot, You told the principal I cheated on the exam didn't you?" She exclaimed.

What do I even say? I definitely did not do it but she knows I saw her cheat.

"Look, I didn't tell the principal about you. I'm sorry it happened to you but it wasn't me who did it" I tell Heather who obviously doesn't believe me.

"I know you're just mad I embarrassed you in the cafeteria" Heather defends. "I thought you were the one on the floor.." I say lowkey mocking her.

"Shut up! You're going to regret this. I'm going to make your life a living hell" Heather says finally walking away.

Great, now I have to deal with an angry Heather Hills. I took a deep breathe and step outside the locker room. I see Kim talking to Chris and Madison sitting on the bleachers.

I sit down next to Madison and Kim joins us. "You guys will not believe what happened" I tell my friends. "Heather got caught for cheating and she seems to think I was the one who told on her. She says she's going to destroy my life." I explain.

"You're dead. It was nice knowing you but you're dead" Kim says. "Don't give her a heart attack Kim, You're not going to die.. you just won't have a good time" Madison says.

I raise my eyebrow at my friends "She doesn't run this school, what could she possible do? gossip about me?" I say mockingly. "She's just going to ruin your social life, people fear her" Kim says.

"Who saw Heather cheat and tell on her though?" Madison asks. Me and Kim both shrug. I'd love to know too.

"Having Heather hate me is nothing I cant handle" I say as I see our teacher walk in.

We stand up and all line up in front of her.

"I know you guys are having your exams right now so today will be relaxed. Just run 10 laps and you can have fun for the rest of the period. Just don't use your phones." The coach says.

We all start running laps.

Did our teacher really say 10 laps was relaxed? I've barely done 1 and I already feel like death.

After the 10 laps I almost pass out on the bleachers when this quiet girl with glasses approaches me.

I think her name was Emma?

"Hi y/n, im Emma. We've never talked but I need to tell you something." I was surprised Emma was actually talking to me. She was always quiet and kept to herself.

"What is it?" I ask her.

"I overheard you and Heather in the locker room, I was the one who told the principal about her cheating. I'm so sorry I really just wanted to get back at her for making fun of me all the time." She says while avoiding eye contact.

"Hey, it's fine I really don't mind. It's nice to see Heather getting in trouble anyway." I tell her. I really wanted Heather to know I didn't do it but Emma is really shy and I don't want Heather to tease her even more than she already does.

"You sure? because I can tell her.." Emma says unsurely. "Yeah, I'm sure" I tell her.

I can handle Heather Hills, but I don't think Emma could.

After PE was over I saw Heather talking about me to her friends. I ignore her and start walking home.
