(Ah... and now it is time for chapter thirty two. This is progressing amazingly in my opinion, better than I expected for sure. Also, I apologize that this update was a bit later. I was trying to get my work done for the next several days so I can update a lot more. So then, since I have the next few pages strongly formatted- I think that I might do two updates tomorrow instead of just one haha. I should be able... anyway, enjoy!~)
---(Y/n)'s Pov---
After what happened, Sans glared at me for insisting that we get back to work. I still had my tools in hand, so it did seem like the perfect time. Not only that, but I wouldn't stop raising my injured foot off of the ground from its lack of balance. It didn't want to support my weight anymore...
Because of this, Sans tried to carry me around phiscally. Once I complained about his blood soaked outfit, saying that I didn't want him to get any blood on my clothes... he instead grabbed me by my Soul without complaint. Normally, he would of given me some kind of snarky response... but after I thanked him, he seemed different.
Carrying me behind him with the use of his Soul Magic, we finally managed to come upon the Core. This was obviously faster than me walking, and probably much more safe. For several more hours, the skeleton dropped me into the depths of the Core where I worked, but soon the heat started to get to me... and he was quick to notice my discomfort. "I'm fine Sans. Just another three hours, we can get this running by then. I just need to put the prototype in and then configure some of the files-"
"I'm gonna stop ya right there, cupcake. You've stressed yourself out enough. I'm not gonna do this until we get some proper sleep. I mean- even Paps seemed pretty mad last time I saw him. In fact, he told me to sleep with ya." He said with a small chuckle.
As the skeleton pulled me in close so that our faces were inches apart, I saw that overly cocky grin that he was wearing. It took me a moment to connect the dots before I gave him a look disbelief. At this, he chuckled deeply. "What? Ya don't want ta sleep with me?"
His words were followed by a quick wink of his eye socket. I had the immediate desire to hide my face from his prying stare, especially since I could feel my cheeks heating up. However, after seeing his attitude and how he treated this situation... I felt the need to put him in his place. "Hmm... that depends."
Sans' stare caught my own in an instant, he seemed taken in by the low voice that I gave him. It was obviously enough to catch his attention, because right now... he didn't dare to look away. "You see, I'm quite difficult to keep up with. So if you want to play with me, then you best give me the leading role."
"What, ya don't think that I can keep up with ya?" He asked blankly. Smirking at him since he was caught off guard, I gave him a lazy wink to further fortify my claim. This playful moment between us seemed so... right.

"No need to sound so upset, Sansy~ After all, it was only a suggestion." I said teasingly. He sneered at me for a brief moment before deciding to teleport the both of us into his bedroom. I already tested his patience, but thanks to our exhaustion... nothing would happen. However, if Sans were in heat again, he would of had the energy to act.
But for now, he seemed calm. Although... I've learned time and time again not to trust what I assumed about him, because he would always be entirely unpredictable. "I'm gonna go and get ya something to eat."
"I thought that you were doing that before you left me earlier?" I asked. After I said this, Sans used his Soul magic to place me on top of his bed carefully. He was giving me that half lidded stare again, causing him to have an unreadable expression. Slowly, he moved his phalanges to the crack in his skull, scratching at it a few times before finally finding his correct answer.
"Oh right, that. Well, I did find ya something to eat... buttt...." He paused for dramatic effect while rubbing at the back of his head. "I could feel ya usin' my magic. Not that I mind, cupcake. However, I could tell that somethin' was off."
"Wait... using your magic?"
"Yep. Your foot. You were pushin' it to move quickly, causing it to want to give out. Thanks to my magic, it eased some of the pain so that you could keep movin'. Remember (Y/n), just because my magic is in ya- doesn't mean that I'm not connected to it anymore." Sans explained with a grin.
Thinking back on how easily he handled my Soul too, I realized that it was probably due to his bite. Having such a high concentration of magic inside of my body was causing my Soul to accept him faster than usual... because in some ways, it relied on him. Just like in the True Lab.
"Wellp. I left the food with Grillbz. So i'll go and get it... be back in a sec, cupcake." He said casually before teleporting away.
With a sigh, I decided to get back up despite my pain. Sans carrying my around before now helped to relax my wound... sure my foot was still throbbing, but it obviously wasn't as bad.
Moving outside of Sans' bedroom, I walked towards the stairs that would lead down into the living room. I wanted to go down them, but it looked like it would be a painful experience... ugh. How inconvenient.
Before I could utter a complaint, I felt two strong hands gripping me from under my arms, only to lift me off of the ground. Once I managed to turn my head slightly, I came to realize that Papyrus was carrying me down the stairs as if I were a child. "Ah... Papyrus, thank you. You really are the greatest."
"YES, I KNOW." He agreed with a crooked grin. As we reached the bottom, Paps made sure to put me down on the tattered green couch. Despite how damaged the piece of furniture was, it managed to remain comfortable. Looking around the room since I've been gone for awhile, I noticed that Sans' sock was actually picked up. "YOU SEEM STRESSED, (Y/N). DID SOMETHING HAPPEN?"

"Well, I suppose so. Alphys seemingly called Undyne to the Lab in an effort to take my Soul. I assume that she deemed it as good timing since my foot is injured... and well, Sans briefly left. Of course when he returned, he killed Alphys and helped me." I replied while leaning back slightly.
Surprisingly, Papyrus let out a growl at the mention of the Queen. He didn't seem too pleased by what I told him. "UGH. I KNEW THAT I SHOULD OF KILLED THAT CONIVING LIZARD. YOU DIDN'T GET HURT?"
"No, I doubt that she would ever be cunning enough to inflict even the slightest of scratches on me." I replied coolly. The taller skeleton nodded carefully, not bothering to push the topic any further. I really couldn't get use to his sunken in eye sockets, one could assume that they swallowed his sanity.
"I NEED TO FINISH UP WITH THE LAST PIECES OF THAT OTHER HUMAN. WHEN SANS COMES HOME, I WANT YOU TO SLEEP WITH HIM."
Ugh... Papyrus, please one day retire from your innocence and learn to say that differently. Hesitating to give him a small smile of agreement, Paps walked off into his kitchen where I started to hear the sound of chopping.
To be honest, at the mention of the 'Other Human'... it had me thinking about Aliza's situation.
Getting up from the couch, I quietly entered to kitchen and moved past Papyrus. He didn't seem to notice me as I slipped into the door that would lead me down into the basement where they once tried to keep me.
Being careful to move down the stairs, it took me a bit longer than I thought... but I eventually made it even with my pain. Looking into the cage where I was once held captive, I saw Aliza curled into her own body, laying pathetically on the cold floor. She shivered from her lack of decent clothing.
Once we made eye contact, she glared at me while trying to let out a scream- however, there was nothing but a muffled voice. Upon closer inspection, I saw that she had a sock shoved into her mouth... well, I guess I know what happened to it. I was worried that the sock may of been stolen... since it's been there for so long that it was probably considered furniture. "So I am guessing that Sans probably said something along the lines of 'put a sock in it' before shoving that into your mouth."
She let out a muffled scream of anger at me. I came to notice that pieces of her were missing, and that her once purple dress was heavily stained in red. Several of her fingers seemed gone, a foot was severed... even an eye wasn't there.
Sans was making every effort to take as little as possible, being sure that she will not reset, or get out of her suffering. "You probably could of evaded all of this... if you didn't try to kill me in front of Sans."
Leaning in closer towards the bars of the prison, I felt strange by standing in this position. It was Sans' position during my first few experiences here. "And of course, if I didn't make a promise to myself to stop killing... I would of killed you in such terrible ways, that you wouldn't of returned. You would of lost your determination to do so."
Aliza looked up at me, her only eye was glassy as if she were about to cry. I didn't feel remorse for her in the slightest... Instead, I maintained my chilling stare. "What can I say? I might of become a pacifist, but I am no hero. Least of all, I am not one for you. I will fix the Core in an effort to fulfil my promise... and I'm sure that Sans will appreciate having ketchup again."
I was about to turn around, but Sans instead pulled me back into his ribcage. I could make out a low rumble from his bones that soon turned into a purr. Aliza on the other hand was in a panic, horrified to see him again. "Some ketchup would be nice. But I like your blood too."
"Well, I am glad that you have found a use for it."
He hummed in comfirmation, giving Aliza one last glare before vanishing into his bedroom. With very little hesitation, I was pushed down into his bed. The way that he did it wasn't aggressive, but it wasn't entirely gentle either.
Once I was on the bed, Sans sat down on the mattress before grabbing something that was placed on the floor. After taking a good look at what it was, he held up a container with a piece of pie in it. "Toriel makes these. Usually, she does one ever day and sets it on her counter in case some kind of sneaky Human tires to get into her house.... and if they are hungry, then they eat it and fall ill before making it out. Course she just plays off the fact that she drugged them."
Looking suspiciously at the piece of pie, Sans let out a small chuckle before removing a fork from inside the plastic container. "Don't worry, I made sure that she didn't drug this one, heh. I've been tryin' to get her ta do this for me, but she wasn't too happy about doin' it."
Nodding as he handed me the container, I started to eat the pie with content. It was one of the only moments where I could drop my stoic façade, only to show an expression that was much more content.
"Heh, ya really do have a sweet tooth." He said with a small cackle. Before Sans could come up with some kind of sassy speech, I broke off a piece of the pie and brought it up to him. He stared at it blankly as I gave him a neutral look.
Slowly, Sans' teeth parted to reveal his fangs... and soon enough, he snapped them closed on the delicious treat. "It's good, right?"
The skeleton hummed in agreement as I continued to share it with him. He didn't accept taking a piece without me feeding it to him... he's such a child.
"I bet that you'd taste better."
