(Alright, time for the next update. In this Chapter, we will be speeding along a bit. Also, please do keep in mind that this is Horror Sans aha. He will have more sinister ideas... anyway, I hope that everyone enjoys this!~)

---Sans' Pov---

It's been around three weeks since (Y/n) left. I knew that she was hanging out in the True Lab, working endlessly on the repairs for the Core... though a small part of me felt somewhat uneasy. I kind of wished that she'd be working here, at my place.

I made sure to tell Papyrus about her in case she decided to come back here. He was pretty surprised that she wasn't lying about her intentions for us- but no matter how I prepared for her return by killing Monsters or telling the citizens of Snowdin not to mess with her... she didn't come back.

A knock sounded at my door, causing me to sit up slightly... was it her? "BROTHER. YOU HAVE BEEN IN YOUR ROOM FOR TWELVE HOURS STRAIGHT. WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING?"

No. Of course it wasn't (Y/n).

Ugh... yeah, I was in my room for that long because I was trying to sleep. Before I had her beside me, I might of been able to get some sleep every few minutes before waking up alert. Strangely enough, when she was laying next to me for those five hours- I slept. It was the best sleep that I had in years.

Papyrus growled from the other side of the door and decided to bang on it harder in an effort to get my attention. "BROTHER, IF YOU DON'T GET YOUR LAZY ASS UP... I SWEAR THAT I'LL GO AND DRAG THAT HUMAN HERE TO DEAL WITH YOU FOR ME."

Wait... WHAT?!

Swinging my door open so quickly that it almost fell off its hinges, I was met with the crooked smile of my brother. "FINALLY. NOW GO AND APOLOGIZE TO HER."

Huh? I gave him a look of confusion which only caused him to groan.

"HONESTLY BROTHER, YOU ARE SO INSENSITIVE AT TIMES. VERY WELL, I WILL HAVE TO DO THIS IN YOUR PLACE." He practically yelled out. Stumbling back from his loud voice, I almost forgot what it was like to listen to him since I got used to (Y/n)'s silence while I hung out with her for a bit. Though... once he started to leave, I remembered something important while scratching at the interior of my empty eye socket.

"Stop." I stated darkly, causing the taller skeleton to spin around on his heels with a look of interest. Going back into my room, I grabbed her bag of notes and food before returning to Papyrus to toss it into his direction. He gave me a look of disappointment once he caught it. "Give that to her."

"YOU ARE SUCH A LAZY BONES AT TIMES, SANS. ONCE AGAIN, YOU ARE LEAVING I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, TO DO YOUR WORK FOR YOU." He didn't seem too happy as he stormed out of the house while slamming the door shut. To be perfectly honest, I didn't know how to approach (Y/n) after what I said to her... because she was right. I really didn't know anything about her. But since I didn't plan on going to her, I came up with a plan to make her come to me.

It bothered me when I thought that no matter how much I pried at her past, she never broke once... however, for some reason I wanted her here. I didn't like her being out of my line of sight. Of course, Monsters viewed relationship development as a lot faster than a Human generally would. Usually, A Monster would need to find something they like about the potential Mate in question in order to develop feelings.

And unfortunately for me, I had to learn to respect her fairly quickly. Not only that, but I also started to enjoy the scent of her blood... even her sarcasm and how she gave me attitude was enough to interest me. (Y/n) also had a way at challenging whatever dominance that I threw at her, causing me to feel somewhat determined to put her in her place. Although I wouldn't state that I was in love with her or anything, I knew that I probably did like her... but due to how I was, I had to come up with a way for us to spend more time together- even if the plan was put together by my more psychotic side.

Going back into my room, I collapsed onto my bed with my half lidded crimson stare looking at the spot that (Y/n) once laid. My arms subconsciously moved with a desire to hold her, but there was nothing to grab in her place...

Picking at the crack in my skull, I couldn't help but claw at it in agitation. I wanted her here where I could not only hold her, but take in that intoxicating scent too.

.......

Or at least have her here, where she was safer and not pissed off at me.

Of course if she found out what I was doing... I would be guaranteed to have her hate me for the rest of my life. Smirking sadistically as I let out a small dark chuckle, I was pretty sure that she wouldn't know. After all, the Human body can be full of surprises.

---(Y/n)'s Pov---

Coming back to the Lab in one piece left Alphys feeling very surprised. She didn't dare to go down into the True Lab while I worked, especially since the Amalgamates were starting to act pretty aggressive to anyone but me. They kind of reminded me of a savage dog. Only loyal to the hand that feeds it.

If something happened, Alphys would try to send me a message through one of the mics connecting down into the Lab. She was happy that the power was back on, though her blindness complicated her ability to enjoy it.

Instead, she blankly listened to the last episode of Mew Mew Kissy Cuite. When I offered to change the episode for her, she just waved her hand and dismissed the idea... followed by her mentioning something about it being the last one before she lost Undyne?

I knew that Undyne wasn't dead. But she probably was fairly insane.

"(Y-Y/n)... P-Papyrus is h-here to see y-you..." Alphys said from the mic. Her sudden words caused me to move my hand in an uncomfortable way, only to earn myself a papercut. Dismissing the small wound, I instead raised an eyebrow at this before getting up from my chair to go towards the direction of the elevator. She was stuttering more than usual, probably feeling nervous from his childlike insanity.

"Coming." I responded with a small groan. I didn't want to have to leave my work, though it didn't seem like I had a choice. After forcing Alphys to tell me all of the details regarding the Underground's history.... because I was slightly curious about Sans...

I was able to understand his sadistic and unpredictable nature much more. As a result, I knew that I couldn't leave Papyrus alone with her since he'd likely feel the need to murder her. She had probably the most powerful hand in Sans' issues.

Once I managed to get to the top floor, the door opened and I spotted Papyrus. He was looming over Alphys with an actual frown. He didn't seem too cheerful at her presence as his expression darkened. The Skeleton's look of irritation was quickly followed by an uneven animalistic growl while his fingers twitched in anticipation with a likely urge to strangle her to death.

Unlike his brother, Papyrus seemed to be much more obvious with his intentions. I couldn't find it in me to pity the nervous lizard. After all... she did deserve this, right?

Papyrus raised his skull slightly as if to take in my scent... he didn't turn around, but our close proximity caused him to notice me- or maybe it was my still bleeding papercut. Alphys didn't seem to be as alert as he was, but she also seemed to notice it in the slightest way.

Great. If I somehow failed to fix the core, then at least these Monsters knew that I probably tasted pretty good.

"Human." Papyrus mumbled darkly. After a few seconds of awkward silence, the skeleton cursed under his breath at the interruption and instead spun on his heels to face me. He was seemingly back to his cheerful self- with that crooked smile plastered on his face. "HELLO, HUMAN."

"Hello, Papyrus. How are you?" I casually asked with my arms crossed. He only seemed to grin more as he leaned his body closer to mine. His teeth subconsciously grinded against each other to produce an eerie sound... but I didn't mind.

"AH. SUCH MANNERS... UNLIKE MY BROTHER." He dramatically said in his high pitch tone. I gave him a forced friendly smile as he seemed to forget about his reason for being here... though he was quick to remember it as he handed me my bag. "YOU FORGOT TO TAKE YOUR BAG BEFORE YOU LEFT, HUMAN."

"Thank you, Papyrus. You are truly too kind." I could tell that Alphys was watching... well, more like listening. She stood quietly in a corner, looking baffled at how casual our interaction was.

"OF COURSE I AM." He huffed proudly. His body was no longer leaned forward, he was instead standing tall with both of his knuckles pressed against his hip bones in a heroic pose. If his diet didn't consist of eating humans, I probably would of found him to be adorable. Overly enthusiastic, but still. "I ALMOST FORGOT HUMAN. I WANTED TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT SANS."

"What about him?" I said nonchalantly. I didn't want to come off as rude, especially since the two brothers were close. One wrong move, or even word... and Papyrus would try to kill me. Although, I do think that he would be much more forgiving than Sans.

"SANS CAN BE VERY INSENSITIVE, BUT HE MEANS WELL. EVER SINCE HIS ACCIDENT..." He gestures towards the top of his skull where his brother's crack is... and then sends a sharp glare towards Alphys. "HE'S BEEN OUT OF SORTS WITH HIS EMOTIONS. HOWEVER, HE DOES MEAN WELL."

Yeah... that accident would make someone pretty aggressive. Anyway, I simply nodded to him.

Opening my bag, I was quick to reach in to grab my last cookie. I saved it because I really did have an undying love for sweets... Gaster always told me that they would be my undoing. Splitting it in half, I surprised myself when I handed the portion to the skeleton. "You might not like sweets, and that is fine."

He didn't seem convinced, but I had a plan after observing his behavior for quite some time. Papyrus was an asset in the Underground because despite everything, he was loyal. "But accept this as my desire for our friendship."

"YOU WANT... TO BE MY FRIEND?" He suddenly seemed to act very surprised. As a result, I was able to avoid our talk about Sans. In an instant, he snatched the cookie away from me and wolfed it down. Something told me to stop eating the cookie, but I couldn't do that in front of Papyrus and... I wanted my cookie.

Popping it into my mouth, I ate it with a hum of content. "Perhaps we can one day bond over some cooking. You can teach me how to make your superb spaghetti... and I can show you some of my adequate baking."

"THAT IS A WONDERFUL IDEA, HUMAN!" He paused for a moment, the screeching of his voice was definitely at a higher pitch... but then his next words really caught me off guard. "SINCE WE ARE FRIENDS, SHOULDN'T I KNOW YOUR NAME?"

Oh... right. I suppose that my name in this conversation was long overdue.

"My name is (Y/n)."

He smiled before pulling me into a firm hug that should of squeezed the life out of me... but instead, I started to feel nauseous. After a few moments of him hugging me, I fell unconscious.

"(Y/N)?"
