《Stone Cold Pacifist (Horror Sans x Reader)》:. To observe her.:

---No One's Pov---
Papyrus had his long arm slung around (Y/n)'s waist to hold her up by his side while she was unconscious. Alphys shuffled her smaller legs forward while coughing slightly to catch the taller skeleton's attention, but he didn't seem too interested. "P-Papyrus... m-maybe I should t-take a l-look at the H-human..."
His only response was a growl as he kept the girl closer to him by ensnaring her further in his grip. There was no way that he'd let that Monster take care of his new friend. Especially not after how she treated his brother. "NO."
His words were cold and shocked the yellow lizard slightly. She had never heard him like this, sinister and simply agitated. From what Alphys could remember, he was cheerful and always beaming- something that she only caught a slight hint of during his interaction with (Y/n).
And with that, he left. He didn't bother to switch her position because he didn't feel it as necessary. Of course where he had her would probably feel very uncomfortable- but he wasn't exactly worried about it.
Since she claimed to be his friend and even gave him a shared offering of her own food to prove it, Papyrus had no choice but to feel like he had to be a good friend. Since he didn't trust Alphys, he knew that the only other person that he could bring (Y/n) to was Sans.
Not knowing that he was playing right into Sans' little game... If (Y/n) even had the slightest amount of consciousness, she would of probably known about his little act. Unfortunately, Sans likely gave her a bit more of a higher dosage than he wanted...
Regardless, his plan worked and she was unconscious. Not only that, but Papyrus was bringing her to him. Convenient right?
---Sans' Pov---
Well... I was only making a small estimation, followed by me counting for the past twenty minutes by clicking my phalanges against the railing of our stairs. Once I finally reached the number one, Papyrus stormed into the house in a frantic panic.
Huh. I never reached zero so I guess that I was slightly off? Though it was only by about an approximate millisecond.
Scratching at the crack in my skull as he dropped the girl on the couch, I walked down from the stairs that I was standing at the top of. "SANS. THE HUMAN RANDOMLY FAINTED!"
"Relax, bucko." I simply said with a small huff. He was being too loud, and even somewhat obnoxious. Bringing two fingers to the side of her neck before deciding to also check her wrist, I only allowed myself to smirk casually. "Don't worry, Paps. She just overworked herself."
"WHAT? SHE PASSED OUT FROM WORKING TOO HARD?" He stated with concern. I only nodded while pulling up a chair beside the couch. My brother gave me a pretty strange look as I sat into it with a lazy posture.
"Don't worry, bro. I'll keep an eye on her." At my nonchalant attitude, the skeleton only seemed to nod his head with a smile before leaving. After spending a bit of time around (Y/n), I was slowly taking in certain details about her. In the end, she was right.

I've dealt with too many kids... so I didn't really know how to deal with her. She wasn't like the younger humans, fleeing at the first sight of my axe. No, she was too different and honestly on a completely different level.
My boney fingers once again scraped up against the crack in my skull as I tried to search for a distant memory that wasn't there. Have I ever dealt with a human of her age? Were they all as experienced as she was?
I couldn't remember anything like that.
Grunting with a sigh, I glared at her sleeping form. For once she was very exposed to me... last time that we slept together, (Y/n) was very alert and frequently felt stiff as I held her down. Maybe I was gripping at her too hard or something? Nah. She was always prepared.
Though... going back to the subject at hand...
I had to observe her to figure out how to deal with her. A kid would run away and quickly find themselves caught in a beartrap. Or sometimes they would die during one of Pap's puzzles. Of course, If I wasn't in a playful mood... they'd have their head cut off without hesitation. In the end, I had to watch as (Y/n) played us both. She evaded the traps, toyed with our killer instincts, kept her distance and even managed to get me on my back after I tried to drag her to her death. Literally... heheheh.
Not only all of this but I underestimated her abilities in general. She got out of that cage with no problem, could detect our intent and even navigate through the Underground with barely any help. If I wanted to catch her off guard, then I needed to do something that she wouldn't expect.
For awhile, I started to put together a few things. First off, she always knew when she was being watched. I was certain of this. First time in the ruins, she didn't even come up to the door and instead stopped until I got bored of waiting for her to step into my attack. Next, she knew that I was stalking her and barely had any reaction to me randomly popping up behind her.
Other times that I noticed this was when she jumped into the chasm below the bridge, she didn't leave until she knew that I wasn't watching. Other times, it was when I had her in that cell... and even during her first visit into my room while I was pretending to sleep.
The point of all this? The only time that she failed to completely sense me was while I pretended to sleep. I was staring at her with curiosity more than a desire to murder. It was almost like she could determine my sinister intentions, but was more or less oblivious to something neutral.
Thing is, to get her drugged... I couldn't be the one to deliver it. It would not only be too suspicious, but Papyrus didn't know about what I did. As a result, how could she react to something that he didn't even know about? Papyrus didn't know about it, so he wasn't acting out of character or anything.

Another thing that I noticed had a lot to do with her attitude. She knew what to say, but didn't know that it would be her undoing. Since I was harder to fool, she didn't hide her sassy remarks to me. She didn't know how to approach me- but Paps? Oh did she know how to deal with my brother.
Her flattery was a double edged sword. She had to play nice with him in order to gain his trust, so I knew that she wouldn't do anything that would upset him.
Now what else... oh, right.
(Y/n) had a sweet tooth.
Pressing a knuckle up against the side of my skull as I gave her a cocky smirk, I couldn't help but feel satisfied. All this time, she was getting out of anything that I tried to do. If I wanted to catch her by surprise anymore though, then I would have to come up with a different idea.
Sure drugging her worked once... but twice? Don't make me laugh. She was too smart for that. Moving out a single hand, I used it to grab her shoulder to pull her to her back. Now that I could see her face, I noticed something interesting.
She had dark circles under her closed eyes- obviously from a lack of sleep. Huh... maybe with any luck, she will actually buy into the whole exhaustion thing.
And seeing how she will be staying at my house for now, I should probably grab her stuff or something...
Thinking about it carefully, there was one more thing that I wanted to try. She was unconscious right now, so it probably wouldn't matter at all. Waving my fingers out in front of her chest, It took a bit of effort but I was eventually surprised to see a lilac colored Soul appear in front of me.
It rolled into my hands with a indescribable elegance. Almost like it was making every effort to dance around a killing blade. Tibia honest, I felt captivated by it's beauty. Even though it had a dim glow, as if it were trying to hide its very existence... it still caught my eye.
As a set of options appeared in front of me, my gaze wandered over to the fight button... instead, I clicked on 'ACT', which was followed by 'CHECK'.
And just when I thought that I couldn't be anymore surprised. Everything read '???'.
Well, that definitely made me much more curious. Anyway, since I couldn't really ask her anything... I might as well take advantage of her being here. Getting out of my chair, I moved to grab her arm before teleporting the both of us into my bed.
Since I was waiting to make sure that Papyrus wouldn't be coming back, I really only had one thing in mind at this very moment. Sleep.
That luxury that I enjoyed so much in the past only seemed to be present while she was next to me. As much as I wanted to deny that I didn't care about her, or that I wanted to kill her... I really couldn't lie to myself.
To be perfectly honest, there was no better way to teach me about the value of this girl. Her leaving showed me one very important thing. I wouldn't ever be able to catch up on my sleep unless she was around.
While my arms snaked around her midsection, I was quick to push my skull into the crook of her neck. Her scent wasn't as strong since she wasn't bleeding, and from the slightly off texture of her sleeve, I could tell that her previous wound that I made worse was bandaged up.
Letting out a sigh of content as my eyes started to close, I could feel myself slipping in and out of consciousness... finally.
---??? Pov---
"Hey, are you almost done with that thing?" One of the men asked as I sharply turned on my heels. I was busy trying to secure a line on the roots of one of the trees that would be leading into the depths of some kind of hole. Legend has it that there were Monsters below... but to me? The only thing down there was my target. "Well, you better be worth what we're paying you."
Strapping my tracker onto my belt, the small object was being used to keep tabs on a high grade fuel that was stolen from a very powerful Government facility. Now who was I?
I happen to be a specially hired mercenary that deals in this kind of fucked up shit where your target was generally in an unreachable place.
Are they climbing a mountain pass? No problem, I'll kill them. Is the target trying to swim away in the ocean? Hah. I'll drown them for you. Underground? Don't worry, I have a lot of experience with moles.
Yeah, I was a do it all kind of guy. And with this kind of pay? Well, I'd make sure that this (Y/n) person was not only dead, but have her stolen goods returned. Not only is the Government paying me ten million in advance, but I get fifty million for completing the job. Once I finish this up, I'll be set for life...
Though, my sources do say that this (Y/n) character really isn't someone to take lightly. Lots of history with her shows that she would generally know where everyone was at all times, without any kind of help...
However, there was one strange guy that I interviewed who had the 'luck' of not dying to her. He said that he managed to watch her press her back up against a wall before she started whispering to something next to her? Strange, but whatever. If she's crazy, that's her problem.
"Remember Vexin. You have three days to complete your mission. If we do not hear back from you by then, we will be taking matters into our own hands."
"Yeah, yeah. Shut up and let me work."
And with that, I put my sniper rifle on my back... strapped my knife to my boot, grabbed my supplies and jumped down.
This should be interesting.
