I make my way back inside and head for the kitchen.

Helping myself to some food and a drink I take a seat at the table and start to eat. Hearing footsteps come towards the kitchen I look up and see the get away driver. We give each other an awkward smile.

"What's your name? As in my head your known as the get away driver and its quite annoying really."

"Gregory. Mostly everyone calls me Greg though. I'm beta of the pack." He winks when he says the last part.

Funny!

Turning back to my food I continue to eat and have my drink. He comes and takes a seat opposite me.

"You need to give him time. He doesn't do well with people who stand up to him and its not something a normal person should be doing. If it wasn't for you being his mate, I'm pretty sure you would be dead by now." I scoff as he says this. Give him time? Yeah right he is not the one who has been kidnapped. Basically being kept alive so that he can use me till he's done with me.

"You're joking right? All I wanted was a normal life and now, now I'm stuck here. I've been kidnapped because your alpha doesn't know how to talk to people properly and instead of talking to me, he picked me up and ran off. I'm not allowed anywhere but the kitchen and the room. Poor alpha, must be so hard for him" my voice heavy with sarcasm towards the end of my rant.

Lucky for Rafael I'm not just a normal person and thinking about it now I've never really had a place to fit it. With humans I was weird and with wolves everyone would laugh at me for even trying to make friends. They saw me as a weakling.

I wonder what Lucas meant by powers, what kind of powers? Mind control, controlling the elements, healing or invisibility. Its limitless. Who knows. Only I would when I decide to take that step in wanting to fully embrace who I truly am.
