"Mhm, you kno' yo' cousin had dat baby and won't let anyone see da' baby expect fa' his mama and Mimi? Jus' acting like we ain' family either" Kacey's mom, Cheyenne went on a rant over the phone to Kacey while he sat in the shared office of his and Kyro's auto shop.
He shook his head at his mother all in his cousin Sage's business. He knew what she was saying wasn't true since Sage sent him a picture of his beautiful daughter when she was first born. He still sends pictures now with her being almost 2 months old.
Cheyenne just didn't get pictures because Sage didn't mess with her nor honestly claim her as family.
Nobody did except for Kacey.
Even his twin brother stopped communicating with her because of how messy and very controlling she was. Along with a self centered person who thinks everyone's life revolved around her and very selfish person who liked to play victim.
She always controlled what both Kyro and Kacey did even with them being grown and out of her house. Growing up, she tried to keep them away from their father when they were kids. Even though she was the one that cheated on him and had an affair with a neighbor for 2 years, their father Ameer left.
Which Cheyenne didn't like.
She would control and manipulate him by using Kacey and Kyro against him. If he didn't do anything she liked, she would make sure he didn't see his kids. She was even more bitter and controlling when Ameer remarried to their current stepmom, Nadia, it was even worse for Kacey and Kyro.
She always claimed he wasn't about to play house with her children with another women.
She only said it because how much Kyro and Kacey loved Nadia.
She completely tried to ruin their relationship with their father. At young ages when they got phones, they had to sneak just to see him or communicate with him up until they turned 18.
Kyro's last strike of having a relationship with Cheyenne was when she stole money from him. It wasn't like he wouldn't give her money if she asked for it. She just stole it and used the excuse of him being her son meaning she didn't have to ask for it.
Kacey only didn't do the same as cutting off communication with her because of how much he wanted her love. He never felt loved by her, only used and abused.
He developed a mommy issue from it. Even had a mommy kink from it.
He would get in relationships with women just for them to love him or care for him. He used to have this thing where he was only attracted to older women. For example Bianca, she was 7 years older than him and he loved that.
But he didn't feel loved by her only at the beginning. After that, he only felt how his mom treated him. controlled, used, and abused. He felt like she used his mommy issues against him a lot of the time.
Kacey rolled his eyes at Cheyenne still ranting until he cut her off when she started to bad mouth his cousin's girlfriend. "Aight mom. I gotta go, I'll call ya' later" He said quickly, hanging up the phone.
He knew she was going to try to cuss him out for hanging up on her but he didn't care.
He was annoyed by her and didn't want to hear how she didn't like Sage's current girlfriend and the mother of his daughter. He actually liked his girlfriend, he thought she fit Sage well.

She kept him calm in a way at least in Kacey's opinion. He also never saw his cousin so head over heels over a girl before. He looked genuinely happy.
Kacey lightly sighed, putting his phone on the desk. Right when he was about to put his head down from feeling dizzy and light headed, Kyro called his name.
He grabbed the bottle of water first and drank the rest of the almost full bottle before getting up from the desk. He hoped it helped with the dizziness he was feeling. He was only trying to be oblivious to the fact he was dizzy from not eating.
He had an eating disorder. Something he developed after waking up from his coma. he knew he should ate but refused to because he couldn't keep it down. He always threw it back up.
Forcing himself to eat was just going to give him even more of a headache.
He threw his trash away and then walked out of the office. The cold breeze hit his tall lanky body as he walked through the garage where some cars were popped up in the air or others were on the ground getting fixed.
K&K Auto repair came about last year from Kacey and Kyro's love of cars. They always wanted to own their own auto repair shop, it also was their cover-up for their other job.
Once seeing his brother talking to someone, as he got closer he internally froze once he got a glance at who was in front of him.
Cay.
Kacey nervously rubbed his hands on the bottom of his navy blue overalls. It was something about him always seeing her that got him nervous, mainly since she and her little sister started coming around the group a little more the past few weeks.
She was always quiet and barely spoke, like him. She only talked to her little sister, Pri, and sometimes Trey and Mya.
But she was just really beautiful to him and had this aurora come off of her that Kacey couldn't explain. Sometimes he wanted to speak to her but she made him extremely nervous so he wasn't able to.
She looked from her small conversation with Ro and looked at Kacey when he walked behind his brother. He avoided eye contact with her which she is so good at holding. She openly does it, she doesn't hide the fact she is staring like most women.
"Yeah?" He replied lowly, trying to ignore the fact that Cay was looking him up and down. He didn't take offense to it, the more he's been around her, he's seen her do it to everyone. Even her sister, so he didn't take it disrespectfully, just a way of her taking in the person's presence that was in front of her and or around her.
"Can you help ha'? I gotta finish up dis lady car befo' I slap the fuck outta her" Ro said annoyed. Kacey chuckled at his brother's attitude, it was funny because of how annoyed he gets with other people.
While Kacey was the quiet and calm one, Kyro was the blunt and mean twin. It worked in lots of ways, especially growing up. Kacey was the one to keep Ro calm and out of trouble while Ro was the one beating anyone and everyone that ever tried his brother.
Kacey nodded before glancing down at Cay who was blankly looking at him. The height difference was kinda big with him being 6'5 even and her being 5'9 so she looked up at him a lot.
"What can I help you wit'?" He asked when Ro walked away and discreetly turned the volume up on his hearing aid so he could hear her without struggling.

She shrugged her shoulders a little "I don't really know what's wrong wit' it. My engine light is on and my dad thinks I need an oil change but don't get me lying. I don't really know" She spoke, the first time he actually heard her voice without her saying a few one-word responses.
He hummed and nodded in response "C-can I see your k-keys please?" He asked lowly watching her scrunched up her face. "Whatchu' say?" She asked a bit aggressively, looking at him funny and kinda scaring him.
"I-I said y—" He huffed, and pointed to her light blue keychain once he noticed it in her hands.
"Oh. My bad" She apologized, giving him the keychain. He nodded "You can wait in the lounge room. I don't think it will take long" He said lowly again and pointed to the lounge room that she could see through the glass door.
"Okay" Was all she said before walking away from him.

"Cay?" Kacey called out not loud since Caydence was the only one in the lounge room. She looked up from her phone and saw Ace standing at the door. She balled up the trash of snacks she had since she had been there for 4 hours.
He didn't mean to take so long but trying to get her engine light to turn off took longer than he thought it would.
She walked over to the medium size silver trash can, stepping lightly on the footstep to open it, and threw her trash away. He licked the bottom lip looking at her walk over to him with the white tank-crop top and black baggy sweatpants and she had on white air force 1's. He could tell she didn't have on a bra since her hard nipples were showing and her locs were in a high ponytail.
She didn't even try and she looked beautiful.
He looked away immediately when they made eye contact, holding the door open for her to walk out first. "When was the last time you got yo' oil change?" He said lowly.
She slightly mugged him "Whatchu' say? It's loud in here" She furrowed her eyebrows a little, referring to the loud noises inside the garage when they walked out of the lounge room.
He cleared his throat first, wishing he could just sign it to her. He hated talking loud, it hurt his throat and his ears "I said when was the last time you got an oil change," He said a little louder, moving over from her since she was walking a little close to him.
"Oh. Never, I didn't kno' about those until a few days ago" She shrugged as they finally walked out the loud garage. He looked at her weirdly, he didn't find that hard to believe since he saw. But she was lucky her car didn't break down on her.
"How long have you had the car?" He asked, she looked over at him and chuckled a little. "Almost two years" She replied, looking back down at her phone.
"A-and you never had an oil change? Yo' car never broke down on you?" He asked incredulously. She shook her head no as they were not in front of her car "It get me ta' point A and point B faithfully" She shrugged.
"You washed my car?" She asked. He nodded, putting his hands in his pockets "It got detailed and I put gas in it since you were close to empty" He stated. As he was changing her oil, he noticed her car was dirty on the outside and needed a good wash.
So he gave it to her.
"Wait, I have to go finish paying then" She was about to turn around to go back inside but he stopped her."I kno', it's good," He assured her.
She frowned, "No it's not. What's your cash app? I can send you the money" She opened her phone and he watched her click her short white acrylic nails on her phone screen.
"It's okay Cay. I was drivin' around ta' see if yo' engine light would turn off and was wasting gas" He said lowly and shrugged, not thinking it was a big deal. He just felt like doing something nice for her. Especially after keeping her there for so long.
"Say, Ace!" They heard Ro call out right when Caydence was about to protest to give him his payment.
Kacey nodded his head at his brother who was gesturing for him to come here before looking back at Caydence "Everything should be straight if you got mo' problems just have Dee call Ro or me" He said before waving bye at her and walking away.

Kacey sat in the living room of his one-story home feeling lonely like always.
This was what he hated about being home. It was always empty, nobody but himself. Causing him to be left in his thoughts sometimes, mainly the once's of his ex.
He always wondered and was stuck in the thought of why did Bianca shoot him that night. More so where did she get the gun from. The products he makes, he never left where they laid their heads. Mainly because she was bipolar and he knew how bad their episodes could get.
And she might've shot herself one time. Or at least that's what he read when he did research about her disorder.
After she shot him, he bled out some much and went into a coma for 7 months of his life after losing so much blood. He also flatlined twice but the doctors were able to save him every-time. He almost got the plug pulled on him when he was 6 months in the coma since he wasn't making any progress but his brother didn't let it happen.
He still to this day wished his brother let them pull the plug on him. He hated life, it was so...worthless and traumatic for him. He woke up to being depressed and just walking around feeling numb.
He felt dumb, worthless, and weak. He never hated himself before but he did feel like life just wasn't for him sometimes.
He had no idea where Bianca was since she skipped town after she shot him. His brothers spent the time he was in the coma looking for her but couldn't put a pin on her location. They think she changed her identity since they couldn't find her.
She left everything behind but took all the money Kacey had in his safe. He honestly forgot about the money he had in that safe but he didn't care about it.
He made $50,000 in a day sometimes.
He didn't even care to find her or to get revenge. He was just happy she was out of his life. He doubted she was even pregnant but if she was, he sadly didn't care. He only didn't care because he didn't think it was true.
He often blamed himself for everything that happened when Bianca. He thought maybe he didn't help her enough with her disorder. Or he could have tried harder to get her better help.
Even his mom blamed him. She told him he shouldn't have made her feel crazy and she wouldn't have gone off on him.
So it was hard for him not to believe it wasn't his fault with his mom in his ear.
Kacey leaned up, grabbing the Hennessy bottle from the small black coffee table in front of him. Taking the top off, he chugged the rest of half of the bottle. It tasted straight like water to him now from him sipping on it all night.
He wasn't an alcoholic but he was slowly and surely going down that path. When smoking a blunt didn't get him out of his thoughts, a bottle of Hennessy always did.
Knocked him straight out. With him not eating either, it knocked him out even faster.
He just wanted to feel something to fill the void of being alone and the numbness.
He laughed to himself, looking at the now empty bottle of Hennessy. Then he frowned wondering how he was going to keep himself entertained without his bottle of Hennessy.
His eyes started to grow heavily and the room started spinning in a circle. He smiled already knowing what happened next.
"Ima get a doggy" He laughed before crashing and dropping his bottle of Hennessy on the floor.
Just another night for him.

Small Chests Are Fine Too
It is an undeniable fact that good things come in small packages. More often than not, it is necessary to trim the fat in order to bring what really matters to the forefront. Having extra bulk may seem like a good idea, but in reality it is merely a crutch that will one day become a hindrance, as it is no substitute for personality nor ability. Indeed, often times it is the small things in life that brighten up our daily lives and constantly remind us exactly why we do the things we do. However, it is important to keep an open mind, for while bigger is not always better, there are also times when it is. This holds especially true when it comes to hopes and dreams, which have been known to require a suitably large container from time to time. And while dreaming big could potentially lead to massive dissapointment, one will never truly reach fulfilment if they think too small. A truth that one small woman with meager aspirations is about to find out. DISCLAIMER: This is a spin-off/side story of my main series, Everybody Loves Large Chests, which is also mandatory reading to understand this one. It runs parallel to the main plot, branching off from the chapter titled Upheaval 2, so there will be spoilers for anyone who hasn't reached that point.
8 62The Ayda Series
She was just an average small town Iranian girl, but when armed men took her away from her family, Ayda found herself the subject of a mad scientist. He poked and played with her brain, running cruel tests on a helpless child. The good doctor could never have imagined the beast he would awaken. Torture and experimentation turned Ayda into something else, into someone else. Thrust into society as a dangerous living weapon, Ayda must find a way to reconcile a world which isn't ready to know she even exists. Book #1, "The Explosive Girl," has already been completed. Book #2, "Brave New World," is currently in progress.
8 132The Lies They Told Me: Short stories from my life
Like many of my peers, I've discovered that life is not quite what I expected it to be. As I age, I've begun to find that many of the sayings and truths that my parents, authority figures, and friends have passed on to me were outright lies. Every person I know has been subject to the same interactions, which got me thinking, why not write a compilation of stores about my life experiences to date. I hope that this book will help all of us come to terms with the realities that we face today or deal with some of our deepest feelings about the past. Maybe these people lied to us and maybe they honestly believed the myriad of things they told us, but either way I think we can have a good laugh looking back and remembering the first times that we realized these things weren't true. I also hope that you can look back at the lies, or life lessons, that you've learned and can be inspried to own your stories and share them with others in a genuine way. Wiithout further ado, I hope that you enjoy the many short stories of my life that made me who I am today. These stories range from funny to down right surrel, so good luck on your journey!
