"I think this might have been a mistake. . ." Jake says, anxiously picking at his nails.

Colby looks at his boyfriend, worried that his little mate will pass out any time soon. The Alpha grabs Jake's shaky and desperate hands, looking the younger boy in the eyes.

"Don't worry too much about it. I'm sure whoever you called will understand what you did." Colby says, rubbing Jake's hands with his thumbs.

Jake visibly relaxes at Colby's words and soft touches. The calmness on Jake's face disappears when there is are a strand of knocks on the door. Colby squeezes Jake's hands, softly, before getting up to get the door.

Colby's not sure who he exactly expected at the door, maybe an old woman, or some hippy. When he gets to the door, Colby is shocked to see who is behind it. Reggie, Jake's older brother, is suddenly staring at the young Alpha like he's never seen him before.

"Reggie. . ." Colby says, but it comes out more like a question.

The oldest Webber sibling looks at the man in front of him. The shock on his face is clear when he realizes who answered the door.

"Colby? Little Colby Brock? You're the Alpha that my little brother is mates to?" Reggie asks, a small laugh escapes his mouth.

"Yeah, it's me. Man, I didn't know you were the witch that Jake called!" Colby exclaims, pulling the older boy in for a hug.

After a few seconds, Colby pulls away and his smile disappears.

"He's really scared you're still mad at him. He's been nervous all night." Colby explains, worry still on his handsome face.

Reggie sighs, eyes toward the ground. The brown eyes of the witch soon turns back to the blue ones of the Alpha.

"I know. I was never even mad at him, I knew he wouldn't believe me when I told him. He's still my little brother, and he'll always be my little brother. I love the weirdo." Reggie explains, regret in his eyes.

"I was too much of a coward to talk to him again. I didn't want to make it worse." He adds.

Colby looks up at the regretful man in front of him, and smiles.

"You could always go make it right. . . ?" Colby suggests, the small smile never leaving his face.

Jake is shocked to see his older brother walking into the living room, a huge smile on his face.

"What's up, little bro?" Reggie asks, sitting down next to Jake.

Jake smiles back, weakly, and struggles to find words.

"I'm sorry." Jake blurts our.

Reggie's smile never fades as he replies to younger boy, "I know, Bubs."

At the sound of his old nickname, Jake knew everything was better between the two. The older of the brothers reaches over and pulls the younger one in for a hug. The hug consisted of repeated apologies, and I love you's.

"I'm never leaving you again. I've had a void in my soul ever since that day." Reggie whispers, tears flowing down his face.

"Me too, Reg. I need you with me." Jake whisperers back.

Colby smiles at the sight in front of him. His mate is finally whole again, and he couldn't be any happier for him. Colby is leaning up against the doorway when he is scared by Jillian coming up behind him, a bag of chips in her arms.

"About time those two made up." She says, little bits of chips flying from her mouth.

Colby chuckles a bit before ruffly rubbing the top of her head. Jillian throws a chip at him before running up the stairs to her bedroom.

When Colby turns back to the two brothers, they're already laughing about something. The alpha walks away, wanting to give the two Webber brothers some time to catch up.

An hour has gone by since Reggie got to the house, and Colby has closed himself off in his and Jake's room to research. Blue eyes scan the computer screen, looking for anything that could be of use for the book.

So far Colby has only found out that what type of language is used, and even that isn't for sure. Colby hates the idea, but he's going to have to go get Reggie.

Reggie and Jake are in the same position that he left them in, still talking. At this sight, Colby almost turns back around to figure out everything himself, but he knows that he won't be able to. The Alpha hold the old book tighter to him before he walks into the living room.

"I really hate to interrupt, but I need some help." Colby exclaims, smiling at the two men in front of him.

"Oh shit! I totally forgot the whole reason that I'm here." Reggie rushes out, apologizing to the Alpha frantically.

"Don't worry about it, Man. I just need you to look at this for me." Colby says, smiling at the embarrassed face of Reggie.

Colby sits down next to Jake while Reggie grabs the book. Jake starts to explain how he found the book, and Colby adds little things that he found out.

"Well, sad to say this but it's not Latin. This is the ancient way that witches use to speak. It has no name, but I know how to translate it, don't worry." Reggie explains, observing the book further.

"The title says, Dark Blood Circle." Reggie exclaims, looking up at the two mate in front of him.

"I'll have to look over the whole book tonight and I'll tell you what I find." Reggie says, curiosity clear on his face.

Colby can tell Reggie is excited to get to work on his new project, but he also wants him to be excited to help Kat.

"Can you still tutor Kat?" Colby asks before the man could leave.

"Oh! Yeah! Can I meet her now?" Reggie asks.

Colby calls Sam and Kat down to the living room. The couple is downstairs quickly, and not alone. Little Sarah is trailing behind her mom and dad, but when she sees her uncles, she rushes toward them to get hugs.

"Reggie!" Sam yells excitedly.

Sam rushes forward to give Reggie a hug before he starts to introduce Kat to the oldest Webber.

"I've heard many good things about you." Kat says, a huge grin on her face as she hugs her new teacher.

"I can't wait to get started." She adds.

"This is going to be tons of fun, Kitty Kat." Reggie says, multiple laughs coming out.

"That's a new one." Kat says, laughing at her new nickname.

"They look like crackheads." Jake whispers to Sam and Colby.

The other two boys agree, laughing with their two friends. The boys love that the teacher and student are getting along so well.

While everyone is laughing, Colby can't help but think that the pack feels empty without Elton.

'Maybe uncle Elton should come for a visit?' Colby thinks to himself, a smile on his face.
