Imarina's POV

I'm sleeping peacefully when Stefan wakes me up. "What? I'm trying to sleep" I tell him.

"Damon wants us in the parlor, Caroline is here" he tells me. I grumble and get up putting on my robe before following him. "What happened?" he asks the other two as we enter the parlor.

"Go ahead, tell them. You're gonna love this" Damon tells us.

"I saw Katherine today" Caroline tells us.

"Where?" I ask with a yawn.

"At the Grill. I just stopped by to gawk and...quasi-stalk Matt" she states.

"Skip the teen drama and get to it" Damon tells her.

"Then I had to pretend to use the bathroom even though I didn't really have to go because I'm a doofus. Katherine appeared with a message for you both" Caroline states.

"What was the message?" Stefan asks her.

"She wants the moonstone or this town will rain with blood" Caroline states.

"Tell them the rest of it" Damon tells her.

"Tonight, at the masquerade ball" she finishes.

"Have you forgot Jaguar is natural in this?" I ask them. "You woke us for no reason and now Jaguar is going to be cranky all day" I tell them.

'Hey, I love my sleep. So sue me' Jaguar grumbles in my head.

"How does she feel about me killing Katherine?" Damon asks me.

"You're not gonna kill her" Stefan tells him.

"Don't give me that goody-goody crap" Damon tells him annoyed.

"You're not gonna kill her" Stefan repeats.

"Really?" Damon asks him.

"Because I am" Stefan tell him.

"If you're going to kill Katherine, count me out" Jaguar tells them using my voice.

"Come on Jaguar, we're a team" Damon tells her.

"I protect the coven" she reminds him.

"There's three of us and one of her, would you rather lose one or three vampires under your watch?" he asks her.

"Very well, but only if she goes to kill one of you" she states and lets me take back control.

"Fine, but we're back up" I tell them. So they call the gang, well everyone except for Elena. Jeremy, Alaric and Bonnie join us. We make a plan to trap Katherine in a room with Damon and Stefan. They'd work together to kill her and I'd be waiting just outside as backup.

I then went to Caroline's place where she helped me get ready. I helped her as well. We'd be arriving in pairs. Bonnie and Jeremy would go in first to set up the room. Damon and Stefan would go in second. Caroline and I'd go in last.

"You look great Imarina" she tells me.

"Thank you, you look good yourself" I tell her.

"So have you ever had a boyfriend?" she asks me.

"I dated once, didn't work out" I say shrugging. "Honestly how can I possible date now? I turn into a giant cat" I tell her.

"You never know, you might find someone supernatural" she tells me.

"Maybe, but I'm not holding my breath" I tell her. "We should get going" I add.

"Wait, our masks" Caroline says and hands me a black lace one. I thank her and put it on. She grabs hers and we get into her car. She drives us to the Lockwoods mansion. We arrive and go in.

We separate and start to enjoy the party, blending in. "Don't you look lovely" Katherine says appearing beside me.

"Thank you" I say.

"Now I have to tell you something" she tells me.

"What could that be?" I ask looking at her.

"I order you not to interfere in tonight's events" she tells me.

"Yes, Miss Katherine" Jaguar says and she smiles before leaving us.

What just happened? I ask Jaguar confused.

'Katerina gave us a command, the only one who can override the command is a vampire older then her. We can not help the others tonight' she explains.

Great, just great I think and text Damon. .

he texts back. No we didn't I think. I go outside and sit on a picnic table looking up at the stars.

Anything else you want to tell me? I ask Jaguar annoyed.

'I am sorry I did not tell you that vampires can give me orders that I have to follow' she tells me.

You mean I can ignore her order? I ask her.

'Yes, but you would not have my help. You would be human and no match for a vampire' she tells me.

Great, now you're calling me weak I grumble. Just then Elena appears with Bonnie and Jeremy. Who are explaining the plan to kill Katherine to her.

"You're gonna get yourselves killed" she tells them.

"We know what we're doing, Elena" Bonnie tells her.

"And how am I supposed to feel if one of you guys gets hurt because of me?" Elena asks them.

"It's not just you anymore, Elena. She's messed with all of us, she has to be stopped" Jeremy tells her.

"That she has" I grumble and they just realize I'm here.

"Aren't you suppose to be giving backup?" Jer asks me confused.

"I would if I wasn't ordered not to interfere" I tell them. They all look at me confused. "Long story" I add. Suddenly Elena screams in pain holding her back and I smell Blood. I rush over as blood blooms on her pink shirt. She screams again and blood appears on her arm.

"Jeremy, it's Katherine. She's linked to Katherine, get them to stop! Now!" Bonnie shouts and he runs towards the mansion. Bonnie tries to take away Elena's pain.

"Bonnie, there must be another witch. Go find them, I'll stay with Elena" I tell her. She nods her head and takes off. "It'll be ok Elena" I assure her.

"It hurts" she says.

"I know" I say as Jeremy appears. "Before you ask, Bonnie went to go find the other witch" I tell him. Soon Elena is feeling better and I take her for a walk. Stefan soon joins us. "Katherine?" I ask.

"Being locked up, the spell linking her to Elena has been lifted" he states.

"Ok, I'll leave you two alone" I tell them and leave. I go to the parking lot and wait for a ride. Soon Elena appears on her phone to Jeremy. "Can you give me a ride?" I ask her and she nods her head.

"Yeah Jeremy, I've got my car. Tell Bonnie that whatever she did, I'm starting to feel better. Yeah, you can drive her home. I'm just gonna drop Imarina off at the boarding house. Okay" she tells him. She hangs up as I feel we're being watching.

"Elena get in the car" I tell her as Jaguar starts to take control as she's the better fighter. A masked man comes up behind her, covers Elena's mouth. I snarl and tackle him as Elena passes out. We start to fight and he soon knocks me out.
