Imarina's POV

Damon woke me up again today, saying we're going to the local park. So I got ready and he drove us there. When we arrive we see Mason talking to Stefan. I drag Damon over as Mason shook Stefan's hand before leaving carrying a box. "What are you doing?" Damon asks his brother.

"Negotiating peace on your behalves" he answers.

"I don't want peace" Damon whines and Jaguar growls in agreement.

"Consider it opposite day" Stefan says cheerily.

"Stefan, please tell me you don't seriously think a hand shake just solved our problem" Damon tells him.

"No, actually I think that the first chance Mason Lockwood gets, he's gonna drive a stake through your heart and then through mine, all because you took it upon yourself to try to kill him. So thank you, because we don't have enough problems" Stefan tells him before leaving.

"Stefan's right, we should try to make peace" I tell him.

"Where's Jaguar?" he asks me pouting. "She agrees with me" he states.

"She does, but this is my body and I have a say in our opinion" I tell him. "I see Elena with Caroline, I'm going to go say hi to them" I state leaving him. "Hi girls" I say smiling and they greet me happily. I start to help them as Caroline tells us about her mum.

"So suddenly, she's in the running for Mother of the Year just when I'm trying to avoid her the most. I'm babbling, you don't want to hear all this" she says seeing Elena not paying attention.

"Oh, no, sorry. Then what happened?" Elena asks her.

"Well, I was a bitch which is par for the course with us. So, how are things with you and Stefan? Anything?" Caroline asks changing the subject.

"No, not since the fight. He's been pushing me away because he thinks that Katherine might get jealous enough to hurt me. I just don't know how to change his mind" Elena explains.

"You said that Katherine's dangerous. Maybe he's got a point" Caroline tells her.

"Yeah, I know that she's dangerous and I know that he's just trying to protect me but it feels like giving up and I just..." she says trailing off.

"Just what?" I ask her

"I just thought that we were stronger than that" she tells us. She looks at Stefan who is a few meters away.

"Oh, oh. Longing looks are being exchanged" I say teasingly.

"I'm gonna go talk to him" she tells us putting down her paint brush.

"Good luck" I tell her as Caroline said it was a bad idea. Elena leaves and goes towards Stefan when Damon joins Caroline & I.

"What's her problem?" he asks us.

"Don't worry about it" she tells him.

"Why are you being such a bitch to your mom?" he asks her.

"Don't worry about" she tells him and they start to eavesdrop on Elena's conversation with Stefan. I decide to go into the forest. I find a clearing and sit down looking up at the clouds. Suddenly I felt something prick my neck and snarl. I pull it out and black out.

Third Persons POV

Mason picks up the unconscious Imarina and carries her to the Lockwood cellar. He cuffs her to a chair with silver cuffs. Silver may not affect werewolves, but it diminishes a werecats strength and keeps them from turning. He leaves her there knowing she'll be out for an hour at least. He approached Liz.

They watched Damon ingest vervain and cough it up. Mason leaves taking bins into the woods. His job being to lure the Salvatores away from the public. So that Liz and her deputies can surround them. Once he's far enough away he puts the bins down and looks up to see Stefan with Damon.

"Don't look so surprised. You knew this was inevitable. Go ahead, run. I'll give you a head start" Damon tells him. Mason bends down. Suddenly shots ring out, hitting Damon and Stefan. They both fall to the ground. Stefan and Damon are on the floor. Liz and some of her deputies arrive guns drawn pointing at the down vampires.

"Thank you, Mason" she says as she vervains both vampires. Mason leads Liz and the deputies to the old Lockwood estate ruins. The deputies are carrying Stefan and Damon.

"It's down the stairs to the left, I already caught another vampire" he tells Liz.

"Careful. The wooden bullets and vervain won't keep them down for long. What is this place? Who's the other vampire?" Liz asks Mason.

"Old slave quarters from the original Lockwood house and that new girl Imarina" he tells her. They enter the room where the deputies put the Salvatores on the floor beside Imarina's chair. As she begins to wake up.

"Thank you, Mason. I appreciate all you've done. We got it from here" Liz tells him.

"You're gonna kill them, right?" Mason asks her.

"Yes. That's why you should go. Here it's the Council, not the law. You can't be a party to this. It's for your own protection" Liz tells him.

"Don't take any chance, especially with Imarina" he tells her before leaving. Damon wakes up and Liz shouts him in the leg. Imarina snarls glaring at the human as Jaguar tries to shift.

"This is how it's gonna work. Answer me and you don't get shot, understand? How many of you are there?" Liz demands.

"Liz, please" Damon pleads. She shots him again.

"Stop it! Leave him alone!" Jaguar and Imarina shout.

"How did you fool us? How do you walk in the sun?" Liz demands ignoring Imarina. She shoots Stefan who doesn't react because he's unconscious. "I will drag this out painfully" she states.

"You're dead" Jaguar snarls.

"But you're my friend" Damon tells Liz.

"Our friendship was a lie. Answer me and I'll kill you fast" she tells him. But they both remain silent. "Let's do this. Each with a stake in the heart, then burn them all" she tells her deputies. She hears a metallic creaking sound and tells one of her deputies to check it out.

Elena hits the deputy with a plank and then goes into the main cell. Liz sees her and points her gun at her. "Elena, what are you doing here?" Liz demands.

"You can't kill them. I'm not gonna let you" Elena tells her. From behind, the deputy comes up and quickly pushes her forward and readies his gun. Suddenly the door closes itself.

Caroline circles around at vamp speed, closes on one of the deputies and bites his neck. The other deputy fires at her, but only shoots the first deputy. When he stops shooting, Caroline rushes from behind and knocks him to the ground. Caroline then reveals herself with her vampire face to her mom. "Hi mom" she says as her face turns normal.

Later she'd freed Imarina who is rubbing her healing wrists. Damon is drinking the blood of one of the dead deputies. While Elena sits beside a weak, but awake Stefan. "You need to drink some deputy blood" Imarina tells him.

"No. I'm gonna be fine. It's just gonna take a little bit longer" he tells her.

"Imarina's right you know. If there's ever time to break your diet" Caroline tells him.

"He said he didn't want it, okay?" Elena tells her.

"This is a most unfortunate situation. Two deputies dead and you" Imarina says looking at Liz. Jaguar wants to kill her, but wants Mason dead more.

"What are we going to do with you?" Damon asks approaching her.

"You won't tell anyone, will you? Mom? Mom? Please. Look, I know that we don't get along and that you hate me but I'm your daughter and you'll do this for me, right? Mom, please. He will kill you or Jaguar will" Caroline tells Liz.

"Then kill me" Liz tells them.

"No" Caroline says.

"I can't take this. Kill me now" Liz tells Damon. Damon bends down to look her in the eyes.

"But you were going to drag it out painfully" he reminds her. He suddenly grabs her. She stands up quickly. Everyone shouting 'no' or 'Damon don't'. Except for Imarina who was arguing with Jaguar. "Relax guys. No one is killing anybody" he tells them. "You're my friend" he says looking into Liz's eyes.

"We've got to clean this up" Imarina states gesturing to the dead deputies. So they clean that up and take Liz to the boarding house. Putting her in the cell in the basement and Imarina went to have a shower. She changed her clothes and calls it an early night. Hoping she could sleep in the next day, still feeling weak from then silver cuffs.
