《Predator(KnY×reader!!Ghoul)》Chapter 03: Wisteria House

Y/n could only snort after the doctor quickly diagnosed each and every boys with severe injuries after check up.
It was seriously hilarious hearing that aside from Inosuke, they've all got broken ribs. "Weaklings~" she sang, taking a sip of the coffee that she requested from the old lady who probably owns the house.
It's been more that half the year that she wasn't able to enjoy the luxury of coffee... and right now, this is probably one of the best day of her life after entering to this hellpit.
"What did you say?!" Inosuke, of course, reacted from her tease. Standing up from where he sat. "Fight me--"
Y/n cut him off by throwing some random apple near her and bullseye to on his injury, making him curl back down writhing in the indescribable pain in his broken ribs.
"Y/n, you didn't have to be rough." Tanjiro sweatdropped. Nervously smiling as he checked on the beautiful boy. Aka Peppa.
She grumbled. "Meh... piggy deserves that shot for not listening to the doctor." She replied apathetically. "And I don't want him interrupting me from my day off. I don't seriously want to waste it with another blabbering creature." She sat in front of the three while enjoying the scent of her coffee.
Zenitsu on the other hand, looked at her full of admiration. "That's what makes you such a goddess~" he cooed. "Please marry me--"
"No." She quickly declined.
Tanjiro's kind eyes smiled at her before checking on his two sons as the lady house keeper prepared the food that started coming on the door.
The girl eyed the old lady who lastly placed a different food in front of her. By different, the way it smelt and the way it looked pleasant and tasty looking. She blinked twice as the woman began to walk off without sparing a second to glance at her as if what was served was nothing out of the ordinary.
As the three started eating, Y/n checked her food. Actually not knowing why she felt disgusted to herself despite knowing what was prepared in front of her. The old lady knew? But how? Was that blabbermouth of a bird told someone?
This is definitely a human meat!
But how?
She picked up the chopsticks showing her typical nonchalance and began to dig in as well.
"Y/n?" Tanjiro called out.
The girl shot a glance at him. He looked hesitant, but spoke anyway. "How was it?" He asked.
"Magnifique~" she hummed before taking another bite from the food. Tanjiro wouldn't possibly know what that was. The girl thought. The smell of human meat was masked with the broth from animal meat so if they were to smell it, it's nothing but a harmless stew.
He smiled.
Then Inosuke began doing something weird again, stuffing his mouth with food he snatches from Tanjiro and then grinning at him with a wierd laugh, doing the same thing over and over again. Of course, as kind as the redhead was, he kindly gave the provocative male some of his share... of course, Inouske was once again defeated.

Evening arrived as the girl went to her room separately. She wasn't asleep, nor does she felt sleepy. She simply lay calmly into her futon, staring at the ceiling sensing all the elements that surrounded her.
She could hear the conversation from the other room. Zenitsu asking why Tanjiro was travelling with a demon... later on the mophead started screaming about the box being open and the demon escaping.
It made her curious as well which resulted for the girl to automatically strode to the other side of the room, harshly sliding the door open as she saw how the young blonde tried to climb the closet, the redhead softly looking at the content that came out of the box, peppa sleeping quietly on the side and the content of the box who was a female suddenly grew from a small baby into a teen close to their age.
She blinked twice over the current picture that she uncovered. "This is... too much thinking." She yawned, went to the demon and pulled her hand as they made their way to the door. "She's sleeping with me. You sleep as well, boys."
Closing the door, she heard Zenitsu again. His voice threatening as he accused Tanjiro of the pain he's experienced while protecting the box screaming a verdict to purge him for all his sacrifices.
Y/n could only chuckle. Nezuko on the other hand, tilted her head questioningly.
Morning came pretty much the same as any other.
They had breakfast while the blond bothered Y/n with another marriage proposal which she declined flatly as usual.
Y/n decided to spend time with Nezuko as well inside the hoise hidden from the bright sun, braiding her long gradient black and red hair feeling the soft silky texture of her locks. Getting bored with just staying inside she now sat outside the mansion, swaying her feet while the backyard scenery gave a refreshing new light.
The girl pretty much enjoyed the place. It relaxes her, gives her more than ènough food energy for the next month and she had some quiet time with a quiet child. No blabbering bird and no demons to slay.
But oftentimes it's actually noisy when the trio is around... guess it's not really a perfect rest day for her.
"Y/n, how long have you been a slayer?" Out of the blue during that dinner, Tanjiro suddenly asked.
The girl chewed her meal and swallowed before turning to the curious male. "Couple of months?" She replied.
"Y/n?" He called out again. His tone becoming very hesitant.
"What is it?" Y/n could somehow feel the ominous atmosphere befalling that night but decided to just ask away.
"Are you human?"
Everyone stopped from eating after the one million question had been raised. Her e/c eyes stared straight to his burgundy ones. Not a single stretch of panic and the only thought that went around her head was whether to kill him now or not necessary. But what can you actually make a cinnamon roll hate you when you explain what you are? Well, who cares?

She smiled. "What do you conclude I am?" She asked him back.
"You... don't smell like a demon either." The boy looked down, must have been embarrassed of wronging his new found friend.
"Tanjiro, you're right." She admitted calmly. The boy quickly looked up at her wide eyed.
"Are you like Nezuko as well?!" He asked.
I shook my head. "Don't compare me to the ones I eat." She told him, shocking the entire room with disbelief from her mention. She eats demons? Why?
"Why?" Zenitsu shakily asked. He looked terrified from the conversation, and if possible, he actually wants to be out of it. But this is about the girl he wants to marry-- which reiected her a couple of times now.
"I pondered that since you have the demon here and actually accepted her, I guess I could tell somethings about myself since I think I'll go mad if I don't." She smiled again. "I'm not like any creature in this place. I'm carnivorous and for some reason in my body composition, my body will be damaged if I eat human foods."
"The one you're eating right now..." Tanjiro sadly looked at me.
"You can smell it?" She asks.
He nodded.
"If I don't consume enough. I won't last a month." She shrugged. "And once that happens, I'd kill more than you can chew."
"But you were drinking coffee." Zenitsu countered.
"That is the only human food my kind can consume. But it doesn't really fill our stomachs. Its basically just a typical pleasure we can enjoy." She picked out another meat and ate. "Scared now, kids?" She teased.
"Y/n..." Tanjiro called sadly.
She grinned. "You don't have to worry about that. I only eat the already dead ones that I find on the demon lairs that I slay. Corpses may not be fresh, but I can't go on killing spree when human population in this place is a bit low. What will I do if you go extinct?" She joked. Half a lie of course. She killed people on populated areas where demons reside and put the blame on them especially when what she's going to eat was a marechi blood. Maybe the reason the demons love it is because it's addictive in taste and it actually multiply their strength from zero to ten. It somehow had the same effects on Y/n but she thought it was probably because she absorbed some composition from the demons she consumed desperately at times.
Although its still something gruesome, what else can they do? Y/n needed to live as well, but she was taken off the rights to keep herself human. Everything was too sad for Tanjiro to ponder upon, thinking if one day, his precious sister may lose what's left inside of her... what will he do?
"Don't worry about it." She told them calmly. "If I get out of control, just feed me a demon or two. Make sure they're alive so I can eat them."
"But how can you eat demons?" Zenitsu quickly inquired.
"Simply because they were once humans. So I could still get the nutrients I need." She nonchalantly replied.
"You three are the only ones I'm entrusting my secret. Well, the grandma of this place also knows-- the bird probably told him." She shrugged. "But anyways, as long as I've eaten my fill, I won't bite for a month."
"Does that mean you're strong?!" Inosuke, who's been quiet for a while now asked her.
"Well in terms of our strength. You're just a puppy for me." She replied.
"FIGHT ME!" Peppa jumped off from his seat towards her while. With her reflex, she quickly got out of his way and chopped a hand on the back of his head as he collapsed unconscious on the floor.
"That was amazing Y/n. You defeated him without getting another injury." Tanjiro happily praised. Still on the point of acceptance of her being but they're still friends at least.
The girl chuckled. "Muscle brains are the easiest to defeat. They're not thinking logically... so to speak." She replied before sitting back.
"And since you guys are recovering well, I guess I'll have to take my leave first. It's quite boring in this house and I can ditch that talking bird."
"You're leaving already?!" Zenitsu asked wide eyed in disbelief. "But you haven't said yes to me yet!" He complained.
She shrugged. "Why not ask Nezuko instead." She pointed to the cute girl biting her bamboo.
"Y/n..." tanjiro sweatdropped looking from her to his wondering sister who blinked twice.
Zenitsu whimpered. "My goddess! I love only you. Please marry me before you leave!" He cried, coming closer to her and grabbing both hands.
"Kiiid~ don't be so like this. I only love myself and if I were to want to find my marriage partner, I will only choose someone older, stronger, quiet and handsome." She sang.
Every description fell hardly like a big rock on Zenitsu's hard head as he fell into the floor in front of her.
"You're lovely in your own way, my little mop head. But you lack every bits of things I want from a man."
Tanjiro lightly laughed, patting the boy's back gently. "That was cruel, Y/n." He told her.
"Hey, did praise his liveliness. It's cute like his sparrow." The girl replied.

The Archaic Elements
A fantasy world, its own unique power-up system, some mystery aspects to make it look interesting and an MC that should make sense but well messes up, cause plot. Flashy fights. Characters will use their brain, unless it is an arrogant young master that needs to be taught a lesson. The starting is slow and maybe boring. The main MC does not desire great strength or harbor any great ambition. He starts out as a naive, lazy and a boring person. But the story does hold one aspect which will fuel the growth of our MC, which is his boundless curiosity for adventure and his will to explore. The second MC is a reincarnation/transmigration and he has a clear cut aim that he needs to achieve. His past life experiences also becomes a pillar that will help guide the main MC, while his friend also supports him. The writing is slow and steady. I will provide reasonings behind most happenings and keep it a logical story. It's a WIP as I edit the previous chapters even as I release more, so while the content doesn't change, the style and smoothness improve. The current release rate is 3 chapter/week. There is no specific date as I can get sidetracked or forgetful., but I will try to stick to Tues, Thurs and Sunday releases.

Status: Never to return again in this form (But the characters shall appear in a rewrite) I used to be a fire fighter. The requirements were easy enough with today's technology. Machines did the heavy lifting. Artificial intelligences put together action plans with the greatest resolution possible. Most days were simple jobs, first aid on minor fires, cats stuck in pipes too fine for machines, or when alarms went off that normal security scans couldn't eliminate. Most of the time our only skill was being willing to go into dangerous areas and follow orders, only I died running into the latest in biological terror. A beast that spawned fire. I remember the pain, it overwhelmed everything. Now I've woken in a new sort of existence. One where the only creature to view is a little girl, and she needs my help. Isabella Brand. Izzy, my one light in world of darkness and pain. She has the makings of a mage in her world and I'm going to be her spirit animal.
8 187The Egg Guardian
First and foremost, I must apologize as this story is currently on an indefinite hiatus. School, my main project, and writer's block have gotten in the way. I was rather unprepared when I began posting this and kind of just did it on a whim. Thus, I shall ensure I am thoroughly prepared before posting anything else, but I plan to return to this someday to conitnue it. What better retirement plan for a scumbag than to become a demon? Whether he likes it or not, that's Berrick's only choice. Heaven thinks hell is getting a little lukewarm and Berrick is just the guy to heat things up again. Follow Berrick as he works for home and hell as one of the few Egg Guardians. Author's note: Are you looking for bad writing, terrible dialogue, short chapters, and slow releases? Then you've come to the right place! This is honestly just something I'm writing for fun and figured I'd publish while I'm working on my main project, but I always appreciate constructive criticism so I can improve.
