《The Demon and The Avenger (Sasuke Love Story)》Chapter 13. :: An Unsettle Feeling::

::Dream::
I was walking through the forest alone. I was searching for something, but I didn't know what exactly it was I was looking for. All I knew was that I needed to find it. Fast. As I was walking, I couldn’t help but to feel as if someone was watching me. I stopped walking and started to look around.
"Who's there?" I demanded. It was quiet, and all that was heard was the sound of the wind blowing through the trees. I started walking again, but soon got the same feeling again. So I started to pick up my pace, but then broke into a run. I started running from it, but I didn't want to turn around and stop to find out what it was. So I kept running, not even knowing where I where going. I finally saw an exit and ran toward it. As I ran out of the forest, I saw that I was at a dead end. I quickly stopped and turned around and stared into the dark forest to see if anyone or anything had followed me. I sighed with relief, closed my eyes and smiled, but my relaxed moment didn't last long. Soon I heard a twig snap, making my eyes fly open. I looked into the dark forest once again. Again I saw nothing. I soon felt anger fill up throughout my body.
"Come out!" I roared frustrated. All was quiet. I started to stare harder into the darkness that was consuming the forest. Suddenly a pair of blood red eyes appeared in the darkness, soon after a kunai came flying out. I gasped as the metal weapon flew towards me, but before I could do anything... the kunai pierced my chest.
::End of Dream::
I shot up from my pallet breathing heavily. I looked around and saw that I was in my room. I was sweating and my body started to shake. I lifted my right hand and covered my eyes then I started to nervously chuckle. My heart was painfully beating against my ribs, as I tried to calm myself.

"That's a new one," I said still rattled from the dream. I put my hand down and looked out the window. I had a feeling I'll be seeing him real soon...
After I got ready, I went downstairs and smelled food coming from the kitchen. I walked into the room and saw Tsuami making food. Tsuami noticed my presence and turned around. She looked at me and smiled warmly.
"Oh good morning Reika" she greeted.
"Yeah morning" I responded. As I walked to the table I saw Kakashi, Sasuke, Sakura...but no Naruto. I shrugged it off for the moment. He probably just went out for more training. Kakashi looked at I and smiled,
"Morning Reika," he greeted.
"Yeah..." I said as I sat between Kakashi and Sasuke. I began to fall into a daydream without even noticing. I replayed the dream over and over inside my head, and every time it made me shudder. I just couldn’t shake off that dream I had.
The blood red flashed inside my head making the hairs on my neck stand.
'Relax kid. It was just a dream,' Haya stated. I let out a low sigh but unfortunately, Kakashi noticed.
"Reika, are you alright? You seemed a little distracted today," Kakashi asked curiously snapping me out of my daydream. Everyone looked at me. Great. I looked at Kakashi and looked back down.
"I'm fine." I said low. Kakashi didn't seem to buy it, neither did Sasuke, but I shook it off.
Before Kakashi could ask again, Tazuna walked in.
"Naruto's not here? It looks like he's gone out all night again." Tazuna said.
"He's gone completely insane, climbing trees all night." Sakura stated.
"He could be dead by now, you know, from using too much of his chakra."

I got up, "I'm going to look for Naruto," I announced as I walked out the door.
Sakura's POV
"Wait! You haven't even touched your breakfast!" I shouted at Reika. I looked at her plate and it was empty. I had a sweatdrop.
"Sakura's right. Naruto's such a loser. He's probably lying dead out there somewhere." Sasuke said. He then stood up and walked out the door.
"Sasuke?" I asked.
"I'm going for a walk." Sasuke replied.
"But we just started eating." I looked at his plate and it was empty as well.
"That was fast." I commented.
Reika’s POV
As I walked out the door, soon after Sasuke did as well. He caught up with me and we both walked in silence. The silence was starting to become uncomfortable, so I opened my mouth to speak but Sasuke beat me to it.
"So, what's really up?" he asked. I looked at him from the corner of my eyes then looked forward.
"What are you talking about?" I said pretending not to know.
"Stop playing dumb. I know something's up. So spill it," He said. I glared at him but then my eyes softened. I stopped walking and looked down. Sasuke walked a few steps ahead but then stopped and turned around looking at me.
"It's just that...I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen," I said as I clenched my fist.
"Don't let it get to you much," I just looked up at him shook my head yes, but then looked back down. There was a long silence in the atmosphere between the two of us. Suddenly, Sasuke walked up to me and grabbed my wrist and started walking pulling me along.
"Come on, lets go find that loser Naruto," he said without looking back at me. I looked up at him surprised but then gave him a gentle smile.
Your not too bad Uchiha, not too bad at all.

Serenity of the Crow
Fena can’t die. To most, this might be considered a blessing. To others, a curse. Fena doesn’t really care what other people call it: for her, it’s reality. She’s content to keep her head down while working for the Mercenary Guild, but a new contract arrives that threatens to drag her back to a past she wants nothing to do with. Haunted by her own thoughts and a crow that never seems to shut up, Fena is caught between confronting her past and preventing it from ever happening again. Indigo is alone. Her adopted mother is gone, and the witch that never gets her pronouns right is currently the most popular researcher at the Royal Academy. Worse still, she suddenly finds herself with shoes to fill that are so enormous they’re more like a swimming pool, while that same witch flaunts a research project that could get them all killed. With the expectations of her entire sect weighing on her like a lead weight, will Indigo sink or swim? Can she stop the White Witch’s project before it’s too late? Or will the twisted politics of the Royal Academy prove too much? This is my first published story, so hopefully it goes well! I welcome constructive criticism, and I'd love to hear your thoughts and theories about where the story is headed! WARNINGS:This story contains references to depression, anxiety, panic attacks, self-harm, sexual abuse and manipulation. I WILL mark trigger warnings on the chapters that contain such content, but read at your own risk. Additionally there will be plenty of violence and gore but I promise to put it to good use.
