'oh boy' lavender thought

"Feston, this is not going to please Mr. Snyder, if you know what I mean" Mr. Brown spoke over the phone

Snyder looked to Brown

Over the other end of the line there the 3 idiots stood in a phone booth.

Number 3 was playing with the stickers outside the booth,

and number 2 was with number 1

"well, yes sir you must understand that the situation was intense," Feston answered

"I mean there were F.B.I guys there.." he informed

"a-and you previously indicated that you wished us to maintain like a mega-serious level of silence sir" he said

Mr. brown turned to snyder and blocked the telephone with his hand

He said something to his boss and snyder took the phone

"look.. you just get those kids tonight..." he spoke with depth and darkness in his voice

"BEFORE MIDNIGHT! DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!" he screamed to the phone before hanging up

"woah.." feston whispered

To Snyder

"Brown.. back those guys if you have to.. but brown.." he said calmly

"I WANT THOSE KIDS!" he screamed again

Back to the idiots

"hey dude, what time does school get out?" Feston asked his friend

"I don't know I never stayed till the end.." he said with a laugh

Feston laughed with him

"dude!" both of them said to their other friend who was outside

Colt was passing the ball to his friend,

until they let go of the ball that rolled on the ground.

It was stopped by a foot..

by the leader of the bully's foot...

Colt sighed

"give us the ball back" he said

"aww.. does the baby want his ball back?" bully 1 said

The rest of the bully gang approached them

"we're gonna have to play this ball." he said tossing the basketball up and down

"FIGHT!" someone suddenly yelled

All the kids gathered knowing there's gonna be a fight

"what's the matter you deaf? you wanna play or not?" he said

"yeah, we'll play you." a voice said

Walking in the crowd revealing that it was Rocky, and Lavender following behind him

"2 on 2." he gestured to him and colt

The bullies looked at each other

Lavender stood next to Emily

"well, how much?" bully 2 asked

"how much? we're not supposed to gamble." Rocky answered truthfully

Lavender facepalmed herself due to Rocky's stupidity

The bullies laughed

"what am I hearing? 'we're not supposed to gamble' well I woudn't wanna do anything to make your mommy or your daddy spank you~" he said mocking Rocky

Lavender was not having it today.

Colt wasn't either, he had enough of this today.

"what do you wanna bet?" he asked

"Colt!" Rocky said

Lavender was surprised, but what else was new, it's Colt.

I cannot believe he said that but at least it wasn't me.

I'm hot and I wanna get this over with.

I hate P.E. class it's scorching hot outside.

"Colt? haha.. what a name.." this white a** jerk mocked Colt

I think Colt is a great name.. and it was given to him by his grandpa

"yeah, little horsey how about some hay?.. laugh!" him and his lame jokes 🙄

The crowd laughed

Once it died down I spoke

"how about I kick your gut?" I asked with a smirk

Rocky turned to me and put his hand in a 'calm down' motion

as Colt was about to pounce on this guy, Rocky stopped him

"Colt don't!" he said

"well punks I seem to be collecting quite a few bikes today..." he said while looking at Emily

She looked back annoyed by him

Anger was taking over my eyes and I was about to knock this guy out

but Emily held me back and she shook her head

"how about we play for yours..?" he said trying to make a deal

"and maybe your girlfriend too.." he said looking at someone in my direction

I can't tell if it was me or Emily.. but what I can tell is if he says another word i'm gonna beat this b*tch up

"when we win, what do we get?" Colt said

"well, IF you win me and my buddies will let you walk out of here without busting up your faces." he threatened

"oooohhh~" the crowd said

'as if..' I thought

Colt was about to pounce again

Rocky stopped him

"how many points to a game?" he asked

"10 duh.." bully 1 said

"fine, let's watch you 9 you take first out." he said

(sorry if what he said was wrong I couldn't hear him properly)

"a 9 point lead?" bully 1 said confused

"cake!" both bully 1 and 2 high fived

Rocky called me to them

"are you out of your mind?!" I asked walking near them

"easy.. we'll win this." Rocky said

"I sure hope you're right" I said

He turned to Colt

"now Colt, no matter what no fighting." he said

"come on-" Colt started

"no fighting." he repeated

"listen to him." I said sternly

"and if ever.. i'll be your back-up" I patted his shoulders

Colt sighed and removed his jacket and handed it to me

"man with a 9 point lead they're goners" some boy said near us

I glared at them

They quickly turned away

"let's whip their butts" he said before walking away

Rocky and I shared a look

We approached Emily

"will you hold my hat?" Rocky asked

"why are you showing off?" she said

'he's not.. geez..'

"i'm not showing off, i'm playing basketball" he pointed at her with a wink

Both Emily and I rolled our eyes but for different reasons

and they started

'gosh.. why am I nervous?'

Rocky motioned bully 2 to shoot

he did but Rocky blocked it and Colt caught the ball

and he shoots!

"1.." I whispered

"psych.." Colt said to bully 1 with a smile

Rocky was dribbling the ball so fast that he distracted bully 2

'come on!'

"2.."

Rocky passed the ball to colt while blocking the bullies and he passed it back to rocky and he shot the ball while not looking backwards to the hoop

'he's so cool'

"3.."

then the shots were continuous

"4.."

"5.."

Rocky dribbled the ball thinking of a way how to make it to the hoop with both the bullies blocking the path

He took the risk and jumped

It's like he flew

Everybody looked at him in awe

and he made it!

"6!!!"

He came over and greeted everybody's hand

When it came to my hand I felt a shock

I looked at my hand

"you ok?" Emily asked

"yeah.." I answered

Colt dribbled the ball and he shoot, and when he shoots he scores!

"7.."

"YEAH!!" we cheered

"SHUT UP!" bully 1 said

I just smirked at him

he kind of stomped away

now I can't hold in my laughter

some kids looked at me

"HAHAHAHA sorry.. sorry.." I apologized

"you're going down" bully 2 said

'we've been happy way too long'

'something's not right'

as Rocky passed the ball to Colt he ran to the other side with bully 2

he almost caught the ball when bully 2 pushed him aside

'foul!'

'damn it! I knew it was gonna happen sooner'

"are you okay?" Colt asked worriedly

"shut up!" Rocky said as the bullies were starting to get to him

he slicked his hair back and continued with the game

Colt was being blocked by both bullies so Rocky found it difficult

he passed him the ball and as Colt shot the ball into the hoop he was pushed by the bullies

he made the shot, but he is priority

I sighed

"..9"

'another foul..'

The bullies high fived

Yeah, what's there to be happy about? you pushed your opponent!

Colt stood up and took his stance

"Colt!" Rocky tried to stop him but Colt was already approaching the bully

Once he did he took a deep breath and looked at him

"do it." bully 2 said knowing that Colt was the one who's gonna be in trouble

He took a deep breath again and lowered his stance as he took the ball from the bully and passed it to Rocky.

"9!" Colt right up the bully's face

Colt was now livid, you can definitely see it but he kept it in

He bumped into bully 1 and faced him

He started confusing him by moving the ball all over the place.

It ended with Colt bumping the bully's head into the ball and him running away.

As Colt was running to the hoop Rocky screamed

"NO!"

It was because bully 2 was getting closer to Colt tripping him

he let go of the ball making bully 1 get it and score a point

'they lost..'

"yes!" bully 1 said

"team." bully 2 said as they high fived again

"have a nice walk home." he mocked again

"without your bikes!" bully 2 said as he followed his leader

I ran to them

"are you okay?!" I asked Colt

He stood up

"Colt please.." Rocky pleaded

"Rocky.." Colt said

I shook my head

"Lav.. I don't care.." he said

We gave up, there's no way to stop him now.

He started to walk away and we followed closely.

We were getting closer to those jerks that stole our bikes but the GYM teacher stopped us and gestured us to go back to our classrooms.

We saw the bullies waving us goodbye.

'dang it, I wanted to kick some butt today..'

"are you guys okay?" Emily asked the boys

"Emily.. i'll get your bike back." Rocky said

She sighed

"forget it.." She said as she gave Rocky back his cap

We watched her walk away

I sighed too

"Colt your nose is bleeding, go to the clinic." I told him

"i'm fine Lav-" he said

"nope i'm not letting you go to class with a bloody nose, now go." I said

he complained a little but still went to the clinic...

leaving Rocky and I alone

"are you okay..?" I asked while we walked back to class

"yeah, I guess.." he answered

"that fall earlier was pretty bad" I said

"nothing I can't handle Lav." he said smiling at me

"if you say so..." I said

"race yah!" I said running away

"hey! no fair!" I heard him

"come on! we're late!" I said disappearing in the school

'I wonder what would happen later' I thought to myself
