Chapter 14//
When they got back to the comforts of home, Rocky sat Aiden on the couch and wrapped her in a blanket.
Rocky gently rubs her back to keep her calm and Colt sat on the other side.
Grandpa and Tum Tum went straight to the kitchen to brew some nice tea for her.
"Should I get you something to eat, Aiden?" Colt offered.
Aiden shook her head and continued staring at the floor. She wouldn't give anyone eye contact and that worried Rocky.
"Do you... want to tell us what happened out there?" Rocky whispered to her.
Aiden gulped.
"I....want too, but I only want to tell you...alone." She answered.
"Okay, that's fine. After grandpa finishes making tea we can find a quiet place out on the porch, if that's ok?"
"O-ok."
Rocky smiled and grabs her chin gently with his fingers and brought her face towards him, so they were looking right at each other.
"You don't have to be afraid, I won't let anyone hurt you." Aidens face turned into a small smile, and it made Rocky relax as well.
Grandpa came into the room carrying a fancy tray.
"Come with us, grandpa. We will take the tea outside."
Grandpa followed them to the porch outside and set it on the top of the steps. Aiden and rocky sat on either side of the tray.
At this time of the day it was the afternoon, the sun was high up in the clouds and shinning down on the two, high lighting their facial features. Their skin looked like porcelain and their hair was shiney.
Rocky carefully picks up the fancy tea pot and poured them both the steaming beverage. They were both quite.
"How do you like your tea?" Rocky asked, picking up the little creamer. The whole tea set matches. It has gold along the rims and purple flowers printed everywhere on it. The top was a deep purple colour to match.
Rocky always admired this tea set and remembers when grandpa always used it and would tell his brothers and him the story of how he came about it whenever he pulled it out from the cupboard. He treasured it dearly because it belonged to his mother.

He wanted to tell Aiden the same story but he held off and wanted her to feel comfortable enough to explain what happened.
"One cream and two sugar, please."
Rocky did as she asked and Aiden grabs the silver spoon, mixing it all in together.
Her mind focused on the swirling liquid for a few minutes, almost in a trance.
Rocky had to tap her on the shoulder to bring her back to reality.
"Is everything ok, Aiden?" Rocky finished making his tea and he kept his eyes focused on hers.
"You don't have to be afraid. Take your time to answer me." Rocky said. He took a quick sip of tea and waited patiently for Aiden.
Aiden did the same and waited a few minutes before she wanted to continue.
"When I was in the maze, I had a memory flash back when the ninja dummy came down in front my eyes."
Rocky took a sip and as soon as she started the story, he was quite intrigued.
"A flashback?" Rocky questioned.
"Yes. I think it was of my home life."
"Oh, what did you see?" Rocky set his tea down and grabbed a biscuit.
"I can remember being in a weird, dark room and I saw a drunk man sleeping on a couch. The tv was left on and I saw three young girls hiding behind a wall behind him."
Rocky pauses finishing his cookie and he kept his focus on Aiden completely now.
"One of them I recognized as myself and the man on the couch, was the same man from the mall who has been stalking me." At this Rocky could feel his anger boil on the inside and he gritted his teeth a little bit.
He really didn't like where this was going and his knuckles turned into a fist.
"The girls where terrified of this man. He had a beer bottle half full in his hands. The girls were wanting to escape the house they were in."
Aiden can feel tears wanting to fall down her cheeks again and Rocky immediately noticed.

"The girls didn't look well taken care of from what I saw. Their hair was dirty and messy. Their clothes ripped and baggy. They didn't look like their outfits fit them perfectly."
"I heard one of them ask if the man was still sleeping. One of them said they weren't sure and then I saw myself step out and say she would check and make a run for the door first."
Aiden took a quiet, small breathe and drank some more of her tea to calm her nerves. Rocky felt his body feel worried and protective of her.
He got up and sat beside her, rubbing her back with his free hand as she continued.
That made Aiden feel a lot better and she went on.
"I came out from my hiding spot and I don't know what happened. I saw myself trip over a shoe that was left on the floor on the other side. I fell down and I hit the floor. I don't think I sprained or hurt anything, but I woke up the elder man."
"He got up in a rage and came around the couch. He saw me on the floor and picked me up by my throat. He was angry that I woke him
Up and he started beating me. I told the girls to run but they came over and tried fighting him off of me. He was too strong, though."
Aiden's story was done and she blinked her eyes to stop the tears from wanting to flow.
Rocky focuses his gaze on the light on her cheek bones and it made him smile.
"I'm sorry, Aiden." Is all he could say to her. He wrapped an arm across her shoulders and pulled her to him again. She lay her head on his chest.
"Rocky I think that man is right. I think he is my step father, but from the memories I had...I don't want to go back to him."
Rocky replied quickly.
"Alright, you don't have too. I understand. You can come back and live with my brothers and I."
"But at the same time, I wonder if I should go back and save my sisters." Aiden suddenly said, in a low voice.
Rocky was shocked and couldn't believe what she said.
"How come, Aiden?"
"Rocky, I know this might sound crazy, but...if they are in the hands of that horrible man, who knows what he's doing to them. I have to find the house and save them."
"I have too, I can't let them be hurt by him anymore." She said with bravery.
"Maybe we can keep up with the ninja lessons for me, and once I'm ready I can go back to find the house I lived in and find a way to save them. I'm their big sister, I have to protect them."
Rocky sat and stared at his feet, thinking this over in his head. In a way he understood her completely. If that where Colt and Tum Tum, he would definitely want to do the same thing!
This man sounded like a monster!
"Alright then, we should tell my brothers and we can help you save them!"
Aiden smiled widely and she jumped on Rocky, giving him a tight hug.
"Oh thank you!!" After the two had a talk it was lunch time. Grandpa Mori made his famous ramen noodle dish and some sushi.
During the meal, Rocky and Aiden explained to everyone what had happened earlier in the morning. Rocky then looked at everyone and said that he agreed to help Aiden find his two sisters and rescue them.
Grandpa was against it at first and said no. He knew that it was dangerous and that he knew how strong their step father really was.
Eventually Rocky was able to convince grandpa to let his brothers and him help Aiden.
Yes Rocky and Aiden were a little scared and had no idea where to start, but they were determined to save Aidens two younger sisters!
