'Don't tell me what the butcher does, there's no need for the obvious.'

"Well, well, well look what the good dick dragged in," Anna says as I walk through our front door.

"Aren't you supposed to be at class?"

"Wow! That's how you greet your best friend after not seeing her for a week?"

I roll my eyes but make my way over to her, she opens her arms for me to fall into. "I missed you," I whisper.

"Of course you did! Now tell me everything!" She clears her assignments away from the couch, and after three coffees, I have her back up to date. "Eeekkk! I can finally start referring to him as your boyfriend!"

"Well...not really."

"Why not?"

I take a sip from my coffee.

"Bella...?"

"Yes Anna?"

"Please tell me you had the talk!?"

"What talk?"

She sighs. "You have got to be shitting me! You idiot numbskulls didn't think it would be a good idea to discuss whether you are exclusive or not?"

"It just never came up," I say defensively.

"You spent a week in bed together! This is how that conversation could have gone: 'Hey Tyson are you fucking anyone else? Because I'm not going to.' Boom done; problem solved!"

I sigh, "okay I get your point, I was just too nervous to be the one to bring it up."

"Where is Nora when you need her! Okay since she isn't here, I will be her voice of reason." Anna slaps me in the face.

"What the hell!?" I rub at my cheek.

"Stop supressing your feelings because you are worried about a guy!"

"He's not just 'a guy.'"

"You know what I mean," Anna sends me an annoyed look.

"I know okay, and FYI, Nora wouldn't have slapped me."

Anna smiles mischievously. "I know, I added that for fun."

"Fine, we will talk about it when I see him next."

"When will that be?"

"This weekend," I say as I grab her empty coffee mug.

"Good, you can invite him to that club we went to a couple weekends back."

"Why are we going back there?" I ask loudly as I enter the kitchen.

"Because, I had amazing sex with Lincoln, but forgot to get his number, I'm hoping he will be there again."

"I'm guessing Lincoln is hot booth guy?"

Anna winks at me, "don't you know it! Could you get me another coffee? I need it to get through all these references."

"Anna you are going to have a heart attack soon!"

She looks up at me with a serious expression. "Well, then at least I wouldn't have to do this assignment."

With a tight, silk green dress, and large gold hoop earrings; Anna finishes my look by giving me black heels. "Why don't you try curling your natural waves for a change?" Anna asks as I run the straightener through my hair.

"I just prefer my hair this way," I say as I finish off the back.

Anna shrugs, "you look stunning know matter what."

"Thanks," I smile. "Is Nora going to meet us there?"

"Na, she is hanging out with Chantelle tonight," Anna says with a disgusted expression.

Chantelle also left that bitter taste in my mouth just at the mention of her name. "I'm sure they will have fun," I try to muster some happiness for Nora.

Anna smiles wickedly at me, "you are too nice, you know that right?" Anna finishes pinning half her hair up. "You still telling Tyson to meet us there?"

"Yes and we will have the conversation."

"Good! Uber is here," she says excitedly.

The car ride is short, and combing the streets are girls dressed in their skimpiest outfits, and guys laughing with their mates. A few bodies bent over vomiting, because they went too hard with pre drinks. "I really hope he is here, or I will be going home alone while you go home with Tyson."

"We can come back with you if that happens," I say as our driver pulls up to a busy curb.

"Thanks!" Anna says to him before we both get out. She links arms with me as we head down the busy footpath, heading for our club.

A drunk guy and his friend stop us. "I just have one question?"

"Yes?" Anna says with limited patience, it wasn't unusual for us to get hit on by drunk guys, every girl knows the struggle.

"Do you hold water...because damn!"

Anna rolls her eyes. "Enjoy not getting laid tonight," she smiles sweetly before making our way around them.

"I really hope Lincoln is here, I don't want another night full of drunken guys attempting pickup lines," Anna says as the bouncer lets us in the club. "Shots then dance floor?"

"Sounds good," I say as I remember the last time I was on a dancefloor, and Tyson wrapped his arms around my waist; both of our bodies moving to the beat.

"Two vodka shots!" Anna yells to the bartender.

Right, well I guess we are starting this night messy. I down my shot painfully, my eyes screwing up as the taste burns down my throat. Before I have time to even think about vomiting, Anna grabs my hand and we rush to the dance floor. A couple songs in, I see Tyson making his way towards me, my whole body lighting up at the thought of his touch. Instead of dancing with me this time though, he presses his lips straight against mine.

As we pull away Anna is motioning us to follow her, we leave the dance floor and head towards the booths. "Maybe Lincoln is in one of the booths again," Anna says hopefully.

"I missed you," Tyson says as his hand squeezes mine.

"I missed you too," I smile.

"Anna!" All of our attention is taken by Lincoln who is sitting in a booth with two other friends, waving Anna down. I guess he enjoyed her company too.

"I'll catch up with you two later," Anna hugs me before heading into the booth with Lincoln.

"Tate's here," Tyson says like he is surprised.

"What?" I say a little confused. Before I have time to react though, Tyson is pulling me to the booth behind Lincoln's, where Tate, Charlotte and Lillie are. "Wait Tyson!" I try to say inconspicuously, clearly he has forgotten about Tate and I once again.

"Bella?" Charlotte and Lillie both say confused; I smile nervously at them both.

"How do you know Bella?" Tate asks. Idiot!

"She's Charlotte's cousin," Lillie answers Tate.

"How do you know Bella?" Charlotte asks Tate and I drop my head shamefully. "She hasn't even been single that long!" Charlotte says angrily.

They argue some more before Charlotte storms off, I can tell she is really drunk as she wobbles slightly away from us, as the other three chase after her.

Tyson and I have enough sense to stay put. Like she wants to see me right now. A tightness grows in my chest at the fear of her being angry at me, hopefully she would forgive me tomorrow, sober.
