"Do you really need to leave?" I ask Bella as I plant kisses on her cheek.

She giggles and pushes me away from her. "I have been here for a week now; Anna will rent my room out soon."

Would that be such a bad thing?

I sigh dramatically. "When can I see you again?"

She moves to put her clothes back on and the child in me feels like crying. Since the waterfall, we had spent the entire week in my sheets together. Yet I still feel emptiness knowing she is about to leave. Usually, I can't wait for a girl to leave after she has given me what I want.

"How about on the weekend?" She says as she slides her shirt over her head.

"You're not just using me for sex, are you?" I ask with a playful smile.

"Oh no, it's also for your bike," she winks as she shimmies her jeans back up.

I laugh. "Now you like the death trap?"

"It's definitely growing on me," she leans down and softly kisses my lips. "See you on the weekend?"

I nod my head. "Until then my bike and dick won't know what to do."

She smiles, "I'm sure your hand can fix both of those problems," she picks up her bag and keys and leaves.

I decide to head to Tate's tattoo shop, since I hadn't seen him in a while. I grab our usual order of subway and hope that he doesn't have a client. As I walk in, there is a young guy at the counter paying Tate.

"Remember to leave the wrap on again tonight," Tate says.

"Yep, thanks again; I'll see you next time," the guy says before walking pass me.

"Thank you! I just did a six-hour sitting and I'm starving!" Tate says as I hand him his sub. "Where have you been? Feels like I haven't seen you in forever."

I shrug, "study has been busy." Why do I keep lying to him? Tate is in a relationship! He wouldn't give a shit if I was kind of in one too. Actually, I wasn't sure what the hell Bella and I are; we hadn't really discussed it at all. "How is Charlotte?" I ask, changing the subject before he realises.

"Good, I mean she is fucked up like us with a shit past, but I think that's what makes us work so well."

"Shit, I didn't know man." It really does shock me, I don't need to know details, but it definitely shows that you should never judge someone. "What about Jace, how's the nightmares going?"

"Still having them, but he sleeps on the ground when Lillie stays over, he has also agreed to therapy."

I whistle. "No shit? To be honest we probably all need it. He still on this weird ass mum hunt?"

"He hasn't talked to me about it since, but yeah I think it's on his mind."

I think about telling Tate about the two bikies that want me to go see my dad, but I decide against it, he clearly has enough on his plate. "Can I ask you something?"

Tate stops chewing his sandwich to look at me. "Why does it feel like you are about to ask me out?"

"Shut up," I say as I chuck my rubbish at him.

He laughs and dodges it, "I'm joking, what's up?"

I take a deep breath. "When we were kids, and you found me in that bathroom...why did you help me?"

"Fucking hell Tyson, would have been easier if you were asking me out. You sure you aren't seeing a girl?"

"What? Why would you ask that?" I say a little too defensively.

Tate shrugs, "more sensitive, and thinking about the past."

I cough, "don't worry about it."

I can feel Tate's eyes on me. "Bro I'm sorry, it's been a rough week. It was Jace actually."

"What?"

"Jace begged me to go help."

I smile. "Of course he did," we both knew that Jace was the most emotional, caring one out of us three.

"Why are you thinking about this now?"

"I guess I just wanted to know why you guys risked yourselves for me, knowing you would be outnumbered."

Tate seems to think about this for a while, lost in his own head. "Because you're our brother, maybe we didn't know it at the time; but you were meant to be our brother from the moment we all stepped in that orphanage."
