《YOONMIN ¦ before debut》heading 'home'

now playing... feeling good, day6

After a nice little outing with Yoongi for a simple snack/supper at a cafe, and returning to the studio to rearrange the positions and choreography to our debut song, which I've learned to be, called 'No More Dream'.

The meaning and lyrics behind it are actually really beautiful and inspiring. Talking about how children are shouldn't be afraid of having their own goals and dreams in life, although the adults surrounding us have tried to shape us into something and someone whom we are not.

As kids without much power, I find as though these lyrics, written by our leader himself, will find a way to connect with listeners and the fans.

At least, I hope they do.

We spend at least 4 and a half hours simply learning and relearning the dance to the song since many parts needed to replaced and changed due to my presence in the group. We've only started discussion my parts in the song itself around 11:45 pm, although we haven't necessarily gone in depth as to what I'd be singing and/or rapping, 'cause apparently, there's a chance I might have to do that.

I really hope not... I've never been foud of rapping myself, although I do love listening to it.

Like Yoongi.

He's a great rapper.

Just after the first verse of his in the song, I was immediately impressed and wanted to hear more. He has this sense of tone and precision as he raps, it truly is a beautiful sound.

As well as that, he's a wonderful lyricist. He writes a lot, apparently. Although I haven't heard nor read much of it, being just the first day, he's written beautiful things and I can't wait to see what else he can do.

"Alright, that should be it for today boys." Seung Duk says as the clock strikes 1:27 am, as tired as the rest of us. "Remember the new spots and choreo, tomorrow you're doing recording, meaning there's no dance practice."

As he exits the room with his water bottle and bag around his shoulder, the choreographer comes nearer to me and whispers into my ear:

"I'm expecting great things from you, Jimin. Practice and work hard, everyone will love you. Trust me"

And that's the last I hear from him after he leaves the room. I believe I'm the only one who had captured his last few words, and I'm glad, seeing how special they were.

I'll keep them in mind, for sure.

If everything goes downhill, I'll use them to help me get through everything. I can thrive and grow bigger as long as I believe in myself and those around me.

"Hey Jimin, did you hear me?"

I look up to find everyone else staring right at me. I shake my head in slight shock, nervosity and straight up fear.

Apparently, Namjoon had been talking to us as I was overthinking the choreographer's words to me. I shouldn't be thinking too deeply about this either way.

"I'm sorry, what'd you say?" I try to kindly save myself without causing any harm.

"Well..." He sighs. "The van will be here soon, I just said that we should be packing everything up and head to the front of the building."

The passiveness in his voice raises the hair on my arms. Goosebumps along the same area, I nod and awkwardly smile to ease my own tension.

We all leave the sweaty and damp smelling room and walk towards the elevator as a flock of penguins heading out into the Arctic. All except myself, obviously. I place myself slightly behind the boys, in act of avoiding any of them bumping into me.

They would hate that.

Especially Jin, so I assume.

Just as I thought I'd be left alone, once again, I see, from the corner of my eye, Yoongi stopping in his tracks, turning his head and slowing down his pace of walking. Once I've reached where he's now practically standing still, as his speed has gone down one too many to not be noticeable.

"Hey, are you okay?" He says out of the blue, no warning or anything.

"I'm just a little worried that the others are against me or something..." I reveal, looking down to the floor in embarrassment. "I just want to be able to act as you do with them, calmly and nicely, without anyone glaring your way."

After my comment, Yoongi laughs softly and lightly pushes against my shoulder in disbelief.

"You're being ridiculous Jimin. Trust me, they're like this with every new member. They just aren't used to having you around, that's it."

His statement is meant to calm me down, but I'm not sure I'll be staying off edge. There's something going on, something different... And I intend to find out.

In the safest way possible...
