He woke up feeling the warm sunlight licking at the exposed skin on his back.he hums softly and and turns around. In his haste to devour his husband he had forgotten to shut the curtains in their bed room. He was amazed by the fact that even decades after marrying Alec he still felt like a teenager when he was near him. He still got butterflies in his stomach when he heard his voice, he felt warm and fuzzy when he kissed him. All in all every day he feel more and more in love with him.
He opens his eyes against the light and with a wave of his fingers closes the curtains he moves closer to the familiar body wanting to cuddle and soak in his husband's warmth when he saw it. He was still sleepy and he warn so be wasn't sure at first but after rubbing the sleep out of his eyes and double checking he was sure.
Magnus reached out and touched Alexander's hair. Running his finger through it like he had done many times before. But this time instead of relishing in the familiarity of the act he felt an ache in his chest. The first crack of his heart. He quietly got out of bed bitting his lower lip in order not to make a sound but the second he was in their living room he couldn't keep it in anymore. His tears started falling like a water fall and a hideous sob escaped his lips. If was happening, his worst nightmare. His Alexander was aging.
He sat down on the couch his hands trying to muffle the sons racking his whole frame. Tears and snot run down his face. He sobs unable to help it.
He had known this day would come. That the love of his life would one day age and slowly die. And he would be left behind with nothing but memories which in turn would fade and then he would be alone. Truly and utterly alone. But he had expected it to last longer. Be had wished his Alexander won't age. Even though he knew he was being fooling he had hoped that he would find a way to keep him young and Alive forever.

He hadn't even realized how long he was crying before he felt familiar arms warping around him. He sinks into his husband's body letting go of his mouth and warping his arms around him. He continues to cry. He cried for every memory he knew he'd forget, for every time he had sworn to him be wouldn't, for ever year they spent together.he cried for his husband who was starting to grow old with out him. And Alexander held him through it.
He could have sworn he cried for hours before he passed out from exhaustion. When he woke up again he was curled up on the couch alone a blanket over him and his husband nowhere in sight. He got up and started looking for him. He later found him in the bed room standing Infront of magnus's mirror trying to pluck that one grey hair out and once again tears filled his eyes.
"A-alexander" he mumbles making the nephlime turn towards him and he walks over and warps his arms around him once again. Alexander warps his arms around him too.
"Leave it" he tells him after a beat of silence. Alexander didn't reply but he could feel the nodd. Magnus bowed then and there if there was a way, any way at all he could stop or at least slow down the aging he would find it. Even if it took his life he would.
