《Malec one shot》friends

he was sitting on his balcony on a Thursday afternoon. tears filling his eyes constantly even though he kept wiping them away. the cold night air making his cheeks numb. his drink laid on the table beside him forgotten. "just get through tomorrow, then it's the weekends" he kept telling himself though he had nothing to do on his weekends he preferred them to days he had to go to work and spend the whole day with a practiced fake smile playing on his lips. he wasn't sure why he was always sad or angry. he wasn't sure in general what was wrong with him and that scared him.
he was dedicated to what he did. he loved his job not because of the feeling his words inspired but because of the way his words seemed to rush out of him when he was writing. he was always in a better mood after he finished a good article but then he would be engrossed in something else. something he had to figure out, something he had to accomplish and then he would be swallowed into a void of research till he was done with his next big piece. and all over again the vicious cycle would start.
he didn't like people, he feels like they would hurt him just because they can. because he was a weakling. someone that way easy to drag down because he wasn't fighting his demons all too well. whenever he's home all he does is drink and cry. sometimes he feels like he would kill to have someone there with him to hold him tight and tell him that one-day things will get better and that he would be okay but other times he's happy he's alone so no one can see him at his weakest.

that was all till that day. sitting there wiping his tears every few minutes till he saw the person in the apartment across the street from him looking his way. the guy looked like he had a beer in his hand which he raised as a greeting not knowing why he did it Magnus did the same. that was how it started.
the next evening Magnus was sat in the same chair feeling the same way as the day before when the same guy raised his beer as a greeting once again. that night both ate dinner from their balconies. both not wanting to go back to their empty cold homes.
this continued for weeks. a drink in the evening before dinner. that was till one day Magnus's phone rang while he was having a drink before dinner. he picked it up confused who would call him so late at night.
"that's your 3rd glass" a male voice said from the other line
"who is this?" Magnus demanded surprised
"your dinner date" the man replied with amusement tainting his voice
"I'm about to hang up tell me who you are?" Magnus said firmly
"don't! as much as I enjoy our dinners I would also like to hear the voice of the permanent part of my evenings" the voice replied. Magnus looked towards the apartment parallel to him from across the street
"how did you get my number?" Magnus asked
"I came by on my way back from home. the receptionist in the lobby was more than willing to give me your number" the man replied. with a sigh, Magnus put down the glass in his hand and sat down.
"so you know my name and number I know nothing about you except your weird obsession with beer" Magnus said
"alec lightwood." the man replied
"I may have made more food than I could finish tonight....would you be interested in coming over and eating dinner here?" Magnus asked on a limb
" I would love that. I'll be over in a few" alec replied and hang up.
and like that, the introvert got a friend. though it happed slowly and through time they finally managed to have a constant someone in their lives.

I'm the bad guy!?
Do you wish you could wake up inside the mind of your favorite anime character? Well, our hero certainly did. From the moment he first laid eyes on (God's Favored Arcanist); An Isekai story centered around the adventures of sixteen-year-old Masato Yamajita as he traveled throughout the world of Echeron. And Masato had it all; He was a once in a millenium genius known as the (SSS-class Arcanist), capable of wielding every element- and using them to their fullest potential- seemingly without effort. He could boil oceans, flip mountains, freeze volcanos, and as his power grew, so did his personal connections. He became a King, an Emperor, a God... And eventually stumbled into a harem of beautiful women who loved him. So, imagine our hero's surprise when he finds himself inside the body of a character from (God's Favored Arcanist). Convicted
Sentenced to the sea for a crime he didn't commit... Wrongly convicted of killing his lover, Li is sent off to serve his sentence in the privateer fleet of Mahlon, where he finds himself somewhere between a sailor and a pirate. He supposes it is a better way to die than wasting away in a prison cell for a crime he didn't commit. If it isn't the sea or sailing necromancers that threaten his life, perhaps it is his assigned partner, an unfriendly man named Ardlac who seems to want nothing to do with a stranger sharing his space. Li doesn't know that his unfriendly exterior masks a wounded soul suffering from a loss Li can understand far too well. But that is only one of the many secrets lurking around him and one of the many threats to uncover. CONVICTED is a low-stakes story about healing, recovery, and comfort. The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.

Talius
The two moons of Talius gleam with a hypnotic glow; Araius with the color of a cooling blue, and Kranos beaming in a gentle orange. Arairus obscures Kranos with his enormous celestial body, letting Kranos peek out only halfway. This means that it's the month of Gantelos, the season of cold that hovers over Talius for half a year. It also notifies the residence of this planet that the dreadful Fuune will rise from the deep snow, deep from beneath the crust every night and feast on the humans who inhabit this tundra-infested world.
