I walked to the door with my heart leaping out of my chest. I knocked with shaky hands. He opened the door.

"Hey Alexander I though you wouldn't be back till late" he said leaning in for a kiss. I brushed past him walking inside he closed and door and turned to me.

"I couldn't concentrate. I was just to stressed to do work" I replied and turned to him.

"I could always help you take the edge off" he said with a flirty smile walking to me.

"No magnus I don't need that" I said a bit to harshly.

"Alexander" he said surprised

"I just need to... I need a break from all of this. I need to breath" i said weekly

"We can go away for a weekend if you want darling" he said

"Magnus your not hearing me I need a break from this. From us. I can't concentrate with this going on" I replied

"Alexander are you breaking up with me? " he asked in a week voice.

"Im sorry I just need time. I just need to get my head straight. And your a distraction" I added. I saw as his eyes filled with tears.

"So you don't want a break you want to break up" he concluded.

"Im sorry" I said and he reached for me pulling me into a kiss it was all desperate and fear. I pushed him back

"I'm sorry " I repeated and walked away with a heavy heart. I hated that I did that but I had to.
