Dre and I were walking down the hallway. We walked over to go get lunch and met up with Tori. We walked over to Beck, Jade, and Isaac.
"Hey, sit," Beck said.
"Thanks," Tori said.
"Cool," Dre said.
"I don't want them sitting here," Jade said.
"Well, Morgan and Andre can stay," Isaac said.
"You know, it's great that you're both so open with your bitterness," Tori said.
"She's just grouchy 'cause she got stung by a bee," Beck told Tori. "Isaac's always like this,"
"See that? Everybody but me. Come on, bees. What's a guy gotta do to get stung?" Dre said. I rubbed his shoulder.
"Ooh, script pages?" Tori asked taking the pages from Beck's hand.
"Not for you," Beck said taking them back.
"You auditioning for a play?" Tori asked.
"Sort of. It's a movie," Beck said.
"That's so great. What movie?" Tori asked.
"I'm taking your pickle," Jade said to Tori.
"So, a movie?" Dre asked wrapping his arm around me.
"It's called misfire. It's about this woman cop who gets fired and then goes on this crazy rampage," Beck said.
"That's so cool," Tori said.
"Who plays the woman cop?" I asked.
"Melinda Murray," Isaac said in awe.
"You're drooling," I said to Isaac. He shoved me.
"Shut up," Dre said.
"You're gonna star with Melinda Murray in a movie?" Tori asked.
"Well, I'll be playing waiter number one and I only have two lines, that's if I get the part," Beck said.
"So where's the script? I wanna read it," Tori said in excitement.
"Well, you don't get the whole script unless you get the part. They only give you a few pages to audition with," Beck said.

"Oww! I just got stung by a bee," A girl said.
"Ah, her? Really?" Andre asked nobody in particular standing up.
I walked into class late with Jack on my back because he refused to go to school.
"Morgan, did you steal the child on your back?" Sikowitz asked.
"No," I said.
"Okay take a seat," Sikowitz said. I sat besides Dre. Jack sat on my lap and cuddled into me. Beck walked in.
"Sorry, guys," Beck said.
"How was working on the movie?" Cat asked.
"You know," Beck said.
"Beck, you're late," Sikowitz said.
"I'm sorry. We're doing this scene and there was a problem with the lighting," Beck explained.
"Say it like a robot," Sikowitz requested.
"There was a problem with the lighting. I'm very sorry," Beck said in a robot voice.
"Wrong," Sikowitz said.
"Wrong?" Beck asked.
"You said you were sorry and everybody knows robots don't have emotion and, therefore, cannot feel regret. You kids have got to do your robot research. Beck, sit. Now, as we've clearly demonstrated, dialogue can impact a scene in many different ways, depending upon--" Sikowitz cut himself off after seeing all the students leaning forward and looking at Beck. "Dear Gandhi, I'm boring myself. Beck, tell us all about the movie,"
"Okay. Well, my call time was--" Beck trailed off as Sikowitz dragged him from his chair to the stage at the front of the class. "Right, right. My call time was this morning at 5 am," Beck said.
"Oh, that's early," Cat said excitedly.
"Yeah. Well, they did my hair and makeup, and then the costume designer came to my dressing room and..." Beck was now cut off by my older sister.
"Wait. The costume designer was in your dressing room?" Jade asked with her voice laced of jealousy.

"Uh-huh," Beck said.
"Was she cute?" Jade asked still with the jealous tone.
"He was adorable," Beck smirked. Jade smiled. I laughed. Jade flicked me in the ear.
"Did you meet Melinda Murray?" Dre asked.
"No, not yet," Beck said.
"I bet she's been stung by a bee," Dre said.
"I wouldn't know. But you can ask her yourself," Beck said.
"You are not asking Melinda Murray if she's been stung by a bee," I said to Dre.
"What?" Tori asked.
"The assistant director told me they need extras for a couple scenes. So if any of you guys wanna do it," Before Beck could finish everyone crowded around him.
"Everybody read chapter seven for tomorrow. And study robots," Sikowitz said. Jack and I walked out. He climbed back on my back as we walked down the hallway to my locker so I could grab my purse to get food. Jack and I sat down at a table. Beck and Jade walked over.
"Hey Morg, I noticed you didn't stand up early. You don't want to be an extra in the movie?" Beck asked.
"Yeah why didn't you stand up?" Jade asked.
"As thrilled as I am for you I have plans this weekend with Jack and music's more my thing anyway," I said.
Jack and I were sat on the couch when a pissed off Jade walked through the door.
"I'm staying at Beck's tonight," Jade said.
"Do I wanna know why you've got a face like that?" I asked.
"Vega got Beck fired for correcting Melinda Murray," Jade said before walking upstairs.
Timeskip
I was sat with Dre at the table eating lunch while he sat with his keyboard write music. Tori walked over and sat on the other side of Dre.
"Ooh, you got tater pops," Dre said taking a tater pop off Tori as he began playing a tune.
"Why?" Tori asked.
"'cause you know what's great about movies?" Dre asked.
"Uh...," Tori trailed off.
"The musical score. Whenever stuff happens, you always hear the perfect music to go with it. See, tater pops make me happy, so..." Dre plays a tune.
"You didn't play a tune like that when I walked over," I said. Dre pecked my cheek.
"Oh, great. Here comes Jade," Tori said. Dre started playing an ominous theme tune.
"Can we sit somewhere else?" Jade said stopping at the table with Beck.
"Nope," Beck said sitting down.
"Fine, we'll sit with the girl who can't keep her mouth shut and got you fired," Jade said sitting next to Tori. Dre played another tune. We all gave him a look.
"Beck, I swear if there was anything I could do to make it up to you, I would," Tori said.
"I bet you would," I said causing Dre to play another tune. Beck gave me a look not to start.
"You know, if you really wanted to help, you wouldn't just sit there like a bag of doorknobs. You'd do something," Jade said standing and walking off.
"Where you goin'?" Beck asked.
"Anywhere else," Jade said. Dre started playing another tune. I turned his keyboard over and took the batteries out of the keyboard.
"Better go hose her down," Beck said.
"I'm so sorry," Tori said.
"Stop saying that," Beck said walking off.
"I've gotta go find Isaac to work on a dance routine," I said standing up. I pecked Dre's cheek before walking away.

Cosmic Plague
In this world, everyone is cursed with a single fate: Become the most powerful. But those who do become powerful, they hate it. Power is misery and death is the solace. လလလ Nazar, a weapon of mass destruction created by the ancient God of Destruction revolted against his creator a long time ago. While he did defeat his creator, the power he was given is still within him. He is cursed with infinite power, standing at the top of the celestial hierarchy. He has more power and wealth than he needs. But even then, he craves one thing; death. He wants to die. Power is misery and death is the solace, but he cannot achieve his only goal. He cannot die. Perhaps that will change when one day, an ancient cosmic Goddess rises from her grave? Perhaps she will finally kill him? Or will she fall short before his awesome yet terrible power? Only time will tell. This is a high cosmic story about the hypocritical life of the protagonist and how it affects everyone (and everything) around him. Naturally, it features very overpowered characters with a lot of high stakes battles roaming across the cosmos. Warning: Swearing, some suggestive sexual gestures/words, gore. Feedback is highly welcomed. (The story was originally named, God's Return, but I wanted to change it.)

[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Inspired heavily by The Wandering Inn and Beware of the Chicken, as well as cultivation novels in general, this story hopes to take a Westernish approach to the standard Cultivation approach, being more subtle and changing how it approaches the standard tropes of the genre, without abandoning them entirely.
