I chuckled and Salvadore crackled like a lunatic at the stories Tallin was telling us about his vacation.We were done eating and in my office.We were supposed to be breafing and disscussing tomorrow's meeting.Amara and Amatus had gone to sleep right after dinner.They were queit the whole time and went straight to bed when they were done eating.

"Okay,Tallin I think its time to get back to bussines"

He nodded and Salvadore pouted.We started disccusing tomorrow's meeting.The meeting was about the amount of bodies found dead and seemed to be bloodless.

"Okay,we set for tomorrow."

"I wanted to disscus something with you"I said and they straighten up.

"Rorbet,came to see me yesterday.He says the council doesn't want our bond and I talked to the twins.They suggested that we thrown in a ball,introduce our bond and invite a few mates of the same rank.That way people will see thay its not that dangerous for two people of the same rank to be mated and maybe the council will back off."

They were queit after my long rant,still processing the news.

"It's sound good and you should invite the council too"Talling suggested.

I nodded "Yeah,So Salvadore do your thing with the ball,Tallin you find the same rank mates"

"Yes,Alpha"Tallin said while Salvadore squeled.Salvadore loves planning parties or balls so I know that i'm giving this job to the best person.

The door opening cut of Salvadore's rambling.We all looked up to see my mate stepping in.What made me frown was that his eyes were close.His heartbeat was slow and steady.He was sleeping.

We all watched as he walked to me and sat in my lap sofly.He snuggled his head in my neck,his other hand went around my waist.He placed the other one in my chest and continued to snore sofly.

"Did....did he just sleepwalk to you?"Tallin asked snapping me out of my trance.I wrapped my arms around Amatus making him sigh in content.

"I think he just did" Salvadore said with a slow nod of his head.

We were silent again still trying to process what just happan.I smiled and kissed his head and muttered "That was realy cute"

"Fucking adorable,wait until Amara hears about this she going to flip"He said while standing up and walking to Amara's room,I think.

"Your bond is beautiful" Tallin whispered after a moment of silent.

I took my eyes away from my sleeping mate and looked at him.He was smilling but his eyes were sad.I sigh.Amara had told me that Tallin had fallen in love with me when we were together.I didn't believe her until Tallin confessed.

"Tallin..." I said with a sigh.

He shook his head and standing up,he said "No,it's okay.I'm happy for you,Ambrosius.I know how much you you longed for him and I understand.I'm glad you finally found him.Your bond is streghting with the way he just found you while asleep"

"Yeah it is.I can feel his emotions faintly."

"Realy?"He asked suprised.I nodded.

"That's amazing,Ambrosius"

I nodded again in a trance on my sleeping mate.The door closing snap me out again.

I close my laptop and carefully stood up without waking up Amatus.The hallways were queit,the only sound were my boots hitting the floor.When I reached my room,I placed Amatus on the bed sofly.I was taking off my clothes and putting on something comfortable to sleep in when Amatu's voice reached my ears.

"Were you guys dating before?"

I turn to look at him while pulling on sweats and vest.He was lying the same way I left him,his head poking out adorably in the covers.

When I didn't anwer he said "Amara said that you guys dated"

I sigh and got on the bed.I pulled him on my chest and answered his question.

"We never dated but we've been together."

He shuffled and looked at me.

"Been together as in...?"

I stared at him silently making him sigh " Been together,how Ambrosius.?"

I untangled myself from him and sat up,leaning against the headboard.He followed suit.

It's not that I don't want to tell Amatus about Tallin and I.I was looking for my mate and my beasts were not helping.At that time they were so desperate for their mate that they drove me insane.I was in a rough place and Tallin was always there when I came back from hunting and one thing led to another.Along the way,Tallin had developed feelings and we stopped there.

"Ambrosius how di-"

"We fucked,ok.I was in a rough place and Tallin was always there.That was years ago.Now are you done with the questions" I said harshely in one breath making him flinch.I took a deep breath while closing my eyes,trying to calm down.

I opened them to find him rubbing his hands together with a forced smile,his eyes never meeting mine.He swallowed when his eyes met mine.I clench my jaw when my heart clench at the sight.

"I...I'm sorry for prying,I just wanted to know if what Amara said was true." He said then kissed my cheek with trembling lips,whispered a goodnight and got under the covers.

I sigh again and watched his back while he slept but by the beating of his heart and breathing,I know he wasn't asleep.My beasts howl.Hurting their mate was out of their nature.I was loosing control,they wanted to come out and comfort him.

I know I hurt him but If I started this topic with him he was going to ask a lot of questions I wasn't ready to answer.When his breathing changed,his heart beat slowed down,I layed down and wrapped my arms around him.He turned around and snuggled in my chest.

I kissed his forhead and whispered "I'm sorry,my angelus"

I woke up to an empty bed.I panicked immediately.I threw the covers away and sat up.I listean carefully to any sound thay could tell me where my mate was.Luckyly for me,the bathroom door opened.My beloved walked out running his hands through his hair.He smell like my shampoo making me smile proudly of him wearing my scent.

He smiled when he saw me but his smile did not reach his eyes.I yawn and said "come here,baby"

He came hasitanly and say next to me sofly.I cupped his cheek amd kisses his lips sofly.

"I'm sorry"

He looked away,making me drop my hand. "I'ts ok,Ambrosius.you don't have to apologize.I was meddling in your bussiness"

I sigh and grabbed the back of his neck,turning his face to mine.

"I do have to apologize.Your my mate and that means you have every right to ask me anything and not feel scared or like your prying"

He stared at me,his eyes searching." I'm sorry," I told him again pecking him on the lips.

I pecked him again and again and again until he chuckled and hove me away lighly.

"I thought that I had mess things up.I knew it wasn't my bussiness but Amara said we should talk about it" He sighing in realif.

I frown at that and cursing at myself for making him think that he messed up.I know that he is an insecure person,I could tell.

"She was right,luna meum.It is your bussiness.Your my mate and if you want to ask me somethings,thats ok" I told him sofly pecking his lips again making him give me a look.

He nodded "I know,it's just I know at first I acted like I didn't want this but now I want it so bad that I'm afraid i'll mess up somehow"

He laughed not knowing that I was dead serious.I don't think he can mess up.He's been nothing but perfect,a little sturbbon at first but that just him.
