"Ugh" you couldn't help but mutter out. The sun was in your eyes and it irritated you. You tried to open your eyes, but everything was blurry. You closed your eyes again. This happened every once in a while, and it fixed itself after a few seconds. You felt your surroundings.

Something was... soft. It felt stringy. You moved your hand more. You felt something silky. Whatever you were holding... it was... warm. It felt nice, so you kept your hand there.

You tried opening your eyes again. You could see, but the sun was still in your eyes. You looked to see what you were holding-

(Y/N) laid next to you. Your hand was around her waist and you felt your whole head heat up. Normally, you would have woken her up and yelled at her for this, but for some reason, you couldn't bring yourself to.

You got up off the bed slowly. After successfully getting up, you walked over in front of her. She was sound asleep. You sighed in relief. You looked at her.

Wait...

She was still on her side of the bed...

So that means... that you moved over to her side of the...

Your face felt even hotter than before. You didn't know what to do, or how you felt. You just wanted to get out of the room. You grabbed your coat and rushed out, face still flushed. You wanted to slam the door shut, but...

You couldn't...

You couldn't bring yourself to... again. You sighed and closed the door, careful not to make a sound. You put on your coat while heading downstairs. You looked around for something to do. There was the living room with the T.V. Eh, those things never really entertained you much. That seemed to be the only thing in the living room besides the sofa.

On the bar counter separating the living room and kitchen, there was a (F/C) cell phone. It looked dead. You looked over in the kitchen. It was spotless. He looked at the fridge and cabinets.

Might as well make something. Even if you didn't have to eat food, you still liked to. You looked inside to see a few ingredients. Eggs, fruit, a soup can with a shoe print on it?

You looked through all the ingredients in the kitchen, although the weren't that many. Finally deciding on what to make, you pulled out the eggs.

You started making scrambled eggs. You figured you would just wash the dishes afterwards. While the eggs were sizzling on the stove, you looked in a cabinet and pulled out a loaf of bread, grabbing two pieces and putting them in the toaster.

Suddenly, something occurred to you.

Last night, you had that nightmare. You had it every night, ever since the incident. So that wasn't weird. But... it was different? For some reason, the nightmare stopped halfway through. It had never done that before.

You walked back over to the stove and started moving the eggs, making sure they hadn't burned while you were thinking. They were finally done. You put the eggs back in the fridge and grabbed two plates and put an equal amount of scrambled eggs on both. Just then, the two pieces of toast popped up out of the toaster. You grabbed them and put them on the plate, on top of the eggs.

You put them down in front of two different seats at the bar counter. You figured if (Y/N) didn't come down soon, she could just reheat it. You continued to your thoughts.

'I don't get it... it has never done that before. I've had that nightmare ever since I could remember... but... why last night? Was it because... (Y/N) was ther-' your thoughts were cut off by a door closing on the second floor. She was awake. You hurriedly grabbed a fork and started eating slowly, trying to make it look like you weren't sitting there doing nothing. You quickly put on an annoyed face, not wanting to make it obvious that you were in thought.

After a few seconds, (Y/N) came down the stairs, still looking a little tired. Her eyes opened to see you eating and another plate sitting next to you.

"I-is that for me?" She said, pointing to the other plate.

"Yeah. Don't worry about the dishes, i'll do those." You said. She smiled awkwardly and sat down next to you. She started eating. After the first bite, her eyes widened a little bit.

"This is really good, " she said. You rolled your eyes.

"It's just eggs."

"I know but they're really good"

The both of you sat silently, eating. (Y/N) then turned to you, still looking tired. "Did you sleep ok?"

You choked a little on the eggs. 'Does she know? Oh god, I can't tell. fffffffuuu-" "Yeah" you said as calmly as you could manage, which confused (Y/N), considering you had just choked.

Rather than questioning you, she simply turned and kept eating, which relieved you. You didn't feel like talking about that. You didn't think she knew, she would have said something, or at least have somewhat understood why you choked.

After you both finished, You grabbed the plates and pans and started to wash them. (Y/N) walked up next to you. "Do you need help with those?" She asked, referring to the dishes. "No," you said. "But you can if you want to."

You knew she wouldn't help. You didn't even bother looking. 'Humans are lazy. They never do anything they don't have t-' Your thoughts were cut off by (Y/N) grabbing the dish you finished washing, drying it and putting it away.

You were surprised. That was the last thing you expected. You couldn't help but look at her with a suprised expression. "What?" She chuckled, noticing this. You cleared your mind and turned back to the dishes, clearing your expression as well, changing to too a stern one. "Nothing," you said uninthusiastically.

(Y/N) chuckled a bit. "What?" You said, slightly glaring at her. "I shoot a can falling from practically 1 million feet in the air and your impressed with the fact i'm drying dishes?" You didn't respond. You didn't know what to say. You were impressed about the can, but you didn't want to admit it.

You two were doing the dishes quickly, but you were washing the dishes faster than she was drying them. After you finished washing the plates, you grabbed a towel and started helping her dry. Finally, you guys finished and she was putting away the last dish.

She turned around and faced you. "Thank you. You helping me means a lot," she said. You looked back at her, giving her your usual blank stare. You usually hated being thanked. Even the thought of someone appreciating something from you disgusted you. Regardless, you responded with a, "you're welcome."

(Y/N) looked towards the window next to the front door. "Well," she said, looking back at you. "You should probably start heading home now. I'll pack up my things. I'll probably be done in about three to four days."

You looked around. She did have a few things here and there that would take time to pack. You'd rather just get everything situated sooner. You groaned inside your head.

In a slightly annoyed tone, you said, "I'll stay and help you pack up your things."
