(Y/N) lifted the keys out of her pocket and unlocked the door. She turned the door knob and opened the door, holding it to let Black Hat in. He walked in, his eyes slowly looking around the room.
"Anything you see so far?" (Y/N) asked as he walked past the doorway, closing the door behind him.
"The sofa is in good condition and that table over there seems to compliment it very nicely," he said, his eyes half-lidded, showing little interest. He wanted to be in and out of here.
He walked around the room, looking at different things. Something caught his eye and he walked over to it. He picked up a small photo frame. Inside it had a picture with a young (Y/N) and a woman who appeared to be her mother, hugging.
(Y/N) looked at what he was looking at and saw the photo. "Who is this?" He asked, pointing at the woman hugging (Y/N).
"That's my mom." She replied.
"Where's your father?"
"Well... he wasn't.. really... there when I was a kid..." (Y/N) said, looking a little depressed.
"He left?" Black Hat asked, showing no concern whatsoever.
"No, no... He was... abusive..."
This made Black Hat widen his eyes a little, making sure to keep his stern expression.
"He would hit me. A lot." Her eyes seemed to be empty. She almost forgot Black Hat was even there. "When my mom found out, she moved as far away from him as she could afford." She finished.
They both stayed quiet for a while.
Black Hat felt a weird feeling. He couldn't name it. Little did he know that feeling was called guilt.
(Y/N) shook her head to get the depressing thoughts out and smiled, and the usual sparkle in her eye returned.

"It's ok though, that was years ago." She wiped off a tear in her eye she didn't know she had been holding.
"Anyway!" She said in a cheery tone. "Anything else you might want? At least, of what you've seen so far?
Black glanced around the room again, looking over everything. "I'm assuming you're keeping the TV?"
(Y/N) chuckled. "Yeah."
Black Hat didn't know why, but when he heard (Y/N)'s chuckle, he suddenly felt warm inside. He didn't know what was happening, so he tried to ignore it. He had to admit to himself though...
It felt nice...
"May I see some other rooms?" He said, trying to sound like his usual, grumpy self.
This got (Y/N) completely out of her trance. "Of course!" "Do you want to get a better look of the kitchen?" (Y/N) asked, looking over at it, for it was connected to the living room.
"Sure." He said. They both started walking over to it. Black Hat went in and (Y/N) stood by the entrance.
He looked around at every detail, including the blender, knife set, and a shiny, silver toaster. He liked the looks and conditions of them and turned around, facing (Y/N).
"Can I have the knife set, toaster, and blender?" He asked, still showing no emotions and little interest once again.
"Of course." (Y/N) said, nodding. He turned back around, glanced at everything one more time, and said, "Ok".
"Are there any other specific rooms you want to look at?" (Y/N) asked, trying to think of another room he might want to see.
"No, that'll be all." Black Hat replied.
(Y/N) glanced outside. It was night. She was surprised at how fast the time flew by. Black Hat noticed her expression and looked out the window, only to be surprised as well.

"Hmmm..." Black Hat murmured. He didn't want to go out while it was dark. He wouldn't be able to see the puddles and he didn't want his suit to be ruined. Not to mention it was freezing outside.
"You don't happen to have a guest bedroom, do you?" He asked, trying to look for a solution to avoid going out in the dark.
"Yeah, I do, but the bed isn't set up." (Y/N) said, immediately catching on to what he was worried about.
She thought for a second.
"You can just take my bed. I can sleep on the couch" (Y/N) suggested. Black Hat looked bothered by the idea. "You shouldn't sleep on the couch just because I'm here," He said.
"Well I couldn't feel right if I had you sleeping on the couch." (Y/N) replied.
Black Hat thought a little more. "What size is your bed?" He asked. "It's a king size" (Y/N) replied. He thought for a second. "Maybe we could share it?" Black Hat asked.
Black Hat had no problem with this. But (Y/N) on the other hand, could hardly believe what she had just heard. She tried to think of an alternative... but she couldn't.
She said in her calmest voice, "Ok."
