You mentally scrolled through all the inventions that could possibly be useful.

It was hard finding good ones, you never really liked making things that were used for evil. Of course, this didn't mean you didn't like your job. You really loved this job. Even if it did have a few disadvantages. But doesn't every job?

You finally made up your mind with an illusion ray. The ray gun would make the victim see its biggest fear. Of course, this time it wouldn't be real. The last time you made a ray that would make people see the most evil thing they could think of, it became utter chaos, especially when Demencia got a hold of it.

You shuddered a little at the memory.

You gathered the equipment you needed and begun to work. You put all the items where they were probably supposed to go. When you were done with the inside, you began to screw the outside panels in place. Just as you were about to screw the last piece in place, Demencia came in and saw what you were doing. Before you could screw the last part on, she grabbed the gun and said, "Ooooooh! What does this thing do?"

"Demencia, no wait!" You shouted, trying to give off a warning, but it was too late.

She pressed the green button on the side and the gun powered up, making an electrical charge run though the gun. The inside part of the gun that was exposed released a crack of electricity, startling Demencia.

She accidentally dropped it on the floor and it shot out a green ray. It shot and bounced off of the counters and walls. Both you and Demencia hid behind the counter covering your heads while the ray shot around the room.

The lab door opened a bit, revealing an adorable eye of a blue bear peeking through. 5.0.5 then saw the ray bouncing around the room, so he slowly closed the door.

Finally, the ray hit a tray of test tubes and the stand blew up, causing the house shake a little. "DEMENCIA," you shouted at the top of your lungs. "Let's do it again!" she said. You sighed at her stupidity. You looked at the gun lying on the floor. It was toast.

'Well...' you thought. 'At least he isn't he-' your thought was interrupted with Black Hat bursting through the door.

"WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE?! I'M TRYING TO WORK."

"S- sorry about that s- sir" you stuttered out, coming out from behind the counter. "D- Demencia came in and messed up my gun" you said in an annoyed tone, saying that last part while gritting your teeth, glaring at Demencia, who was now revealing her face from behind the counter as well.

"That was fun!" she squeaked out with pleasure. ". What did I tell you about toucHING T?!" He yelled out, more pissed than before. "Sorry," she shrugged, still speaking in her cheery tone.

Black Hat walked away with a furious and stressed expression, leaving the door open. 5.0.5 looked in again, looking confused and concerned.

You looked back at the gun. It was busted to the point were it was unfixable. You sighed. You had to have this next gun soon if you were to go through the "trail and error" part of the construction of this invention until next week's video.

You gathered all the items to rebuild it, until you realised you needed a certain wire, but unfortunately, you had run out of that length, which meant you had to go to the store.

'Thanks, Demencia' you thought.

You went up to Black Hat's office, which always makes you nervous, because it's just creepy and scary being around him, not to mention this particular hallway was literally built to be the creepiest, besides Black Hat's office, of course. You sighed out of nervousness and knocked on the door.

You heard Black Hat's voice through the door. "What is it," he said. You could sense the annoyance in his voice from the other side of the door. "I-i'm going out t-to the store. I-i need to get a wire for my-" "Lock the door on your way out," he said, cutting you off.

With that, you grabbed the keys and left, locking the front door. You didn't have to worry about the fence system, since you programmed it to scan the faces of anyone who enters or leaves. After stepping out of the gate, you headed in the direction of the store.

*If you're wondering when the "BH x Reader" part will be coming in, it's soon, so don't worry about it not showing up yet. These things need to take time.
