Taehyung ran in the direction in which Jungkook was headed, struggling to catch up with him.
The boy was certainly quick on his feet, now angry and all.
He could see Jungkook's back muscles contracting with every step he took, his hands still balled into fists.
He certainly looked just about murderous but Taehyung didn't seem to pay much attention to it.
He was determined to be by Jungkook's side. He felt the undying urge to calm him down and to just be there in his company.
Maybe it was a sign from God. To be a good friend and to help thy neighbor.
"Jungkook!" He called out once he was close enough, watching as the raven haired male turned around quickly.
He watched as Jungkook came to a halt, waiting for Taehyung to catch up.
Taehyung didn't even know what he was doing, but the second he saw the look of concern on Jungkook's face, he ran into his arms.
He buried his face into the boy's warm chest, breathing heavily.
Jungkook stumbled back a bit from the force of the impact but nonetheless wrapped his arms around Taehyung's body.
Taehyung couldn't describe the feeling other than it felt like home.
Jungkook's manly scent with a hint of cigarette smoke surrounded him as he held on tightly.
Neither of them said a word as they soaked in each other's warm embrace.
Taehyung could hear the sound of Jungkook's heart beating, making him feel unbelievable safe and protected.
A few seconds later they slowly pulled away, Jungkook gently peeling him off his body.
"Are you okay?" He asked softly, concerned eyes staring down at him.
Taehyung nodded his head slowly, eyes reassuring.
"I'm fine." He replied.
It was a silent for a few seconds before Taehyung spoke again, "Thank you."

Jungkook's heart wanted to burst out of his chest but he immediately replied, "You didn't deserve that."
Taehyung paused for a moment before gently bobbing his head, eyes lost in thought.
"I still think you should not have pushed him though. Violence is never the answer." Taehyung mumbled, eyes casted down.
Jungkook's eyes widened lightly in disbelief, even after Hoseok fucking spat on him, he thinks violence isn't the fucking answer?
In Jungkook's eyes, it was the only answer.
"Aren't you angry? That he did that to you when you did nothing to deserve it?" Jungkook asked, voice sounding frustrated and confused.
Once again, Taehyung shook his head, this time with a smile on his face.
He didn't know what he had done to make Hoseok so upset, but it didn't matter anymore because Taehyung had already forgiven him long ago.
Even when he mentioned Taehyung's faith, his kindness never faltered.
He had no idea what Hoseok was referring to when he was arguing with Jungkook but he hadn't taken it too personal.
It was normal to question God, everyone did.
"If God can forgive him, so can I."
Jungkook's expression softened when the smile on Taehyung's face returned.
In that quick moment, Jungkook didn't know what demon possessed him to reach out and place his warm palm on Taehyung's cheek.
He gently cupped it with his hand, eyes extremely fond.
And suddenly Taehyung's eyes looked like shining diamonds and pretty fairy lights.
He stared up at Jungkook with confused eyes as the latter stayed frozen in his spot, eyes piercing through his.
Taehyung made no move to remove Jungkook's hand, his breath coming out in warm puffs.
Jungkook could practically see every detail in the little beauty's face, the small mole on his adorable nose, his pretty almond brown eyes.

And his lips.
How plump and pink they looked. How soft they must feel when pressed against his own.
His eyes flickered back and forth between Taehyung's eyes and his lips, tempting him with the idea.
Just when Jungkook began to lean in closer to the boy, he gently pushed Jungkook away.
Both boys blushed furiously at their actions, Jungkook clearing his throat before speaking up, "Come on, I'll walk you home."
He tried to keep space between Taehyung and him, not wanting to accidentally brush up against him.
Because it was too much.
It was too much to admit that all he wanted to do in that moment was kiss Taehyung until his lungs gave out.
