I could take a leap of faith

Into the dark abyss of my mind,

The spots I avoid because all they cause is pain.

I could take a leap of faith,

And hope that they won't this time

But to take a leap of faith,

I think you have to have faith in something

I don't think I have faith in something or anything really.

I don't have faith that it's going to get better

I don't have faith that maybe I matter something to someone

I don't have faith that I'm loved

I have horrors in my mind

And they are buried bone deep into my skin

And I don't think I'll ever get rid of them,

that they'll be there forever.

So I don't think I could take a leap of faith, you see.

Because, I don't have faith in anything anymore.
