《My Brother's Best Friend✔️》9-

RECAP:
I then backed away from her into my room and closed the door behind my entry. I knew that what I did was wrong,as Ethan and I had agreed as teenagers that our sisters were completely off-limits. However, I couldn't deny the sexual tension between the two of us and I knew that she felt it as well.
Maybe the next month was going to be more interesting than I had originally believed, I thought as I flopped onto my bed.
A thin strip of sunlight, that peered through the elegant curtains, lay on my tired eyes.
I had wrapped some cool sheets around myself, in an attempt to hide my naked body. After the unusual events that had unravelled last night, just to make matters worse, the 30 degree heat didn't make sleep any more comfortable.
So, at some point in the morning, I quite literaly said "Fuck it" before ripping off my pyjamas.
I lay under the sheets for a few more minutes, pondering the thought of getting up, but immediately disregarding it. This continued until a subtle smell of pastry made my stomach groan.
I rolled myself off the comfy mattress and slowly made my way onto my feet. As per usual, my vision practically disappeared, causing me to grip onto the slender wooden bedpost.
Once that I could see again, I clutched the sheet around my body and made my way into the shared bathroom.
As I discovered yesterday, the bathroom was shared with none-other than Ashton Miles. And as i also discovered yesterday, there were two doors on opposite sides of the bathroom. They both had to be locked if I wanted any privacy and I was glad to know that they were both lockable from the inside.
The last thing that I needed was a repeat of what had previously happened.

After locking both doors, I let go of the sheets and made my way into the large, walk-in shower.
The bathroom was roomy, with a large counter and two mirrors at the front wall.
Stepping into the shower, I twisted the nozzle and immediately jolted away from the Ice cold water. Whilst waiting for the water to heat up, I admired the elegance of the room. The room was mostly white with a touch of gold. The sinks, cabinet handles and mirror's border were all gold, complementing the grand shower. Beside the shower was a modern bath that fitted perfectly with the aesthetic of the room.
The warm water hitting my hand brought me away from my thoughts.
I let the water roll down my body and tilted my head back so that droplets landed on my face. My thick curls quickly reacted to them by cascading down my back, transforming my hair from a frizzy mess, into smooth and straight locks.
Looking around, I noticed two unopened bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Although I wanted to avoid opening them, the remaining salt in my hair begged me to pick up the bottles and flick the lids.
I used the products sparingly and wiped down the glass before stepping out the shower.
Glancing at the floor, I cursed at myself when I saw that I had forgotten to pick up a towel.
I now had three options:
1- I pick up the sheet again and walk around the house completely soaked and dressed only in a sweaty duvet cover. Then, once I find Josie, she can show me where the towels are kept.
2- Unlock the bathroom door that leads into Ashton's room and ask him for a towel.
3- Remain in the bathroom until I air-dry.
All of them had cons, but by the look of the goosebumps forming on my arms, I knew that the third option wasn't going to happen.

Another loud groan from my stomach warned me to hurry up. So, I chose the easiest option and made my way over to Ashtons door.
I knocked three times from the inside of the bathroom before slowly unlocking the door. Peering into his room, I found him lying wet and shirtless on his bed.
I cleared my throat, gripping onto the sheets around my body. He glanced up at my state, raising a brow at me as he placed a book onto his bed.
Book? Ashton didn't strike me as the type to read.
He began to stand up and I quickly told him about the dilemma, in which he shook his head and let out a deep chuckle.
I leant against the door as he passed me and made his way over to the large counter. He opened a cabinet with one hand and pulled out two soft white towels with the other.
Holding one out for me, he offered me a small smile when I mentally kicked myself for not looking in there.
I thanked him and made my way to the other door, but stopped in my tracks when he spoke my name. I spun around and looked into his eyes, for a split second they were filled with so much emotion before becoming unreadable like always.
He looked as if he was debating to say something but cleared his throat and shifted his gaze to the towel that he was holding.
"Tell my mum I'll be down for breakfast soon." He said and I nodded before walking back into my room.
The sound of the locks being turned confirmed that I was alone and I decided to dry myself off.
I wandered down the marble stairs, following the inviting smell of food. My outfit of the day consisted of a white spotty mini dress,on top of my white bikini and a pair of white sandals. It was meant to be super hot today so I wasn't going to risk wearing denim shorts.
Becca's OOTD^^
I seated myself at the large table and talked to Susan (Josie and Ashton's mum) whilst she lifted out a tray of homemade pastries and prepared a large fruit salad.
Not long later, both Ethan and Josie arrived in their clothes from last night and by the looks of the large under-eye bags they were both housing, they looked as if they could do with a couple more hours of sleep.
"Sleep well?" I teased and Susan shooed the two of them away with a dishcloth to get showered, after claiming that she 'could smell them from the pantry'. I giggled and poured myself some more orange juice.
I was scrolling through my phone when a chair scraping against the floor brought me back into reality. I looked up to see Ashton sat opposite me. He wore a thin white t-shirt that showcased his muscles and a pair of black shorts. His hair was damp from his shower and his skin looked fresh and awake. Not that i was looking.
A series of notifications that flooded through to my phone ended my little trance and redirected my focus to the screen in my hand. I clicked on the text message which read:
I smiled at my phone, anticipating the events that would unravel later.
"Someone seems to want your attention." Ashton murmured, filling his glass with water from the fridge.
