We both just sat there and cried. George was out there somewhere, barely hanging onto his life and there was absolutely nothing we could do about it.

Sapnap's Pov:
I hung up the phone. George had been in a car accident. There was no telling if he'd survive or not. I cried. And cried. And cried.
After a few minutes, I gathered up enough energy and hauled myself from my bed to go get a drink and my mouth was dry from crying. I stopped as I heard cries from downstairs.
"Dream." I thought and bustled down the stairs. There he was. His weight pushed against the wall and sobbing. I came over to him and as I hugged him, we both collapsed to floor.
After half an hour of bawling our fricking eyes out, I forced Dream to get up off the floor. Helping him to his feet, I led him to his bedroom and he sank into bed and straight away, fell asleep. I then stumbled off to my own room and got myself into bed, unlike Dream however, I couldn't sleep.
The daunting though of George on his own in that hospital, desperately holding onto the life by a thread and we were here, sleeping. Sooner or later, I gave in and dropped into a deep sleep.
Sunlight poured through the windows, seeping into the bedroom. It was 10:54. I thought about George. I dreamt about him too; that I was in the car with him. Vaguely, I could remember waking up at midnight in a cold sweat, constantly reminded myself it was a nightmare and not real-life. But the truth is, George is in hospital, George is dying, and I'm not there with him.
Tugging myself from my bed, I threw on a grey t-shirt and a pair of black trousers. I entered the living room to find Dream curled up on the sofa, clutching one of George's hoodie as he slept. A smile formed on my face. Not wanting to wake him, I tiptoed away and let him rest; he needed it.

An hour or so later, I heard sniffling from the other room. I was chilling in the kitchen, I called my mum and told her everything but hung up on her when I heard Dream. Back in the living room, he was sobbing into George's blue hoodie and trembling.

Night was on its way. Stars were dusted across the dark sky and the sun had disappeared. Dream spent the whole day coiled up on the sofa. I was worried about him.
An idea popped into my brain; it was risky but it could be good. I had no idea how Dream would react. Hopefully he'd appreciate it.

Dream was cooped up in his room like usual, he only ever came down occasionally to fill up his water bottle. He never ate; never spoke; never showered or got changed. He was just slowly wasting away.
As Dream slipped from his room and trailed down the stairs, my eyes widened when I caught I glimpse of him. A grey t-shirt loosely dangled from his figure, he looked awfully thin. His dirty blonde hair was a tangled mess and his emerald eyes were no longer vibrant; instead they were pale and sad.
I picked myself up and stalked over to him. Gripping his shoulders, I turned his face to look at mine. Dark circles rimmed his eyes and the skin on his cheeks cling to the bone.
"Holy hell Dream, when did you last eat?" I questioned and he shrugged me off of him and left me and I repeated, " Dream when was the last time you ate?" I crinkled my nose, "Or showered?"
He shoved me out of the way but before he walked out of the room, I yanked the back of t-shirt and I got him to face me. Dream's stormy eyes bored into mine and I took a deep breathe as I said, "I invited Karl, Quackity and Bad to come to Florida."

He eyebrows knitted together and a terrible friend formed on his face: he looked very angry.
"Why the hell would you do that??!!" he spat in my face, "No i'm not seeing them."
"Dream please! I'm really worried bout you, you haven't eaten in days and it's definitely showing! I hoped that if I invited them for a few days then maybe it could distract you for a bit from... you know..."
His grimace softened and he sighed. "When are they coming?"
"Today, in a few hours."
He sighed again, "I'm going to go get showered,"
With a smile, I hugged him tightly and let him go back upstairs. I knew that if I invited Karl, Quackity and BadBoyHalo then Dream would hopefully make an effort to meet them. The shower turned on upstairs. A glimmer of hope shone in my mind, maybe everything was going to be okay after all.
Both at the exact same time, mine and Dream's phones started ringing; I could hear Dream's ringtone from upstairs. The caller ID read: Unknown Number.
I accepted and a lively yet serious voice said, "Hello again Sapnap, I am pleased to tell you that George is still unconscious but is now in a stable condition and we are allowing visitors as of now."
George was alive.

Consequences of certain actions will shift Durrendal toward evil or good. The default personality of Durrendal may be ""pervy"" but depending on the actions that he takes it can be reversed.
