Chapter 20. One sided Love.

It would be Copter Version not POV. I wont go much into how he fell for Thanitt. But subtle details to know their history.

Copter story.

Its been three days since he had moved in with Thanitt. Tamporarily, because he knew it wasnt his place. He had not spoken a word to him about Tee but he could see his eyes when he would zoom out. Copter didnt know how to pull him out of it, but one thing he knew that he cannot. Not until he doesnt want. Ofcourse how can we stop from loving someone.

He was drying the dishes in deep thought. His mind wandered to the morning when Thanitt was parking the car and he was standing at the enterance of the building. He caught Tae coming inside with Tee and how protective he was of him. He was looking around to look for any possible danger attentively, Thanitt to be precised and then left to accompany Tee to his class. Teasing him, loving him. And not to forget the smooch.

Copter was really thanking in his heart that Thanitt didnt see it all and Tee had moved his seats to another corner of the class. He wasnt ready to face and forgive Thanitt so soon. He stacked the last plate in the stand and saw. Thanitt had still not finished his beauty bath and they had to work on their assignment too. He knocked on the door in irritation and finally khun Itthipatt left the steamy bathroom after 30 minutes of leisure bath.

"If you might forgot, we have assignments to do". Copter huffed, gathering all his notes on the carpeted floor. Thanitt chuckled sitting with him because he knew Copter didnt like waiting aimless. Without any further delay, they both head started and soon only the scribbling of notes could be heard. They would discuss a point or two and then back to work.

Copter bit the edge of the pen in his lips and saw Thanitt. His smooth hair falling off his forehead. He was deeply concentrating on the notes in his hand to write down the report based on a case study. His forehead would crease for a while and then he would solve the problem in a flick of fingers. Thats how intellegent he was. He was the most handsome man in the whole university. Ever perfectly styled, crisp shirt and slacks. He was respectful to the teachers, gentle for the youngers. He could give his life for his friends. And then.... A mistake by him and he lost one of his friends. Copter knew it wont be easy for Tee to turn back to him, and even if he wanted, Thanitt had to face Tae.

He sighed loudly gaining Thanitt's attention. He observed Copter who was zoning out.

"Copi, what happened? Any problem"? He asked Copter who got startled by his touch. Thanitt raised his eyebrow at him.

"Oh no. Nothing. Was thinking about few things. Are you done? Shall we sleep now"? He closed his books and pen hurriedly. Thanitt knew something was bothering him. And he knew Copter wont tell so easily.

"What is it Copter? Are you bored here? Feeling uncomfortable to live with me? Is it bothering you"? Thanitt asked in a low voice. Copter looked at him dumbfounded before he realised what Thanitt was saying.

"Bothering me? Boring? Stupid. I never felt like this. Living with you isnt touch to say. And no you dont disturb me. Its... I...". Copter fell silent.

"What is it? Talk to me". Thanitt held his hands between his own.

"Thanitt. Do you miss Tee? You still love him"? Copter asked biting his lower lip.

"What the... Where did it come from"? Thanitt was confused. Copter never talked about Tee since that night. "Ofcourse i miss him". He exclaimed. Copter felt his heart sinking down. He knew it, but he didnt want to hear. He wanted to go away but Thanitt didnt leave his hand.

"Dont you miss him Copter? He was our friend for long. For me, he was the first one to be my friend. Always special in my life. Too special that i took him as granted. I know i have made a huge mistake and i want to apologise to him, but i know i cannot. Not at this moment atleast. He never forget and forgive easily. And what i did to him wasnt a little incident to say. Even if he want to fogive me, Tae wont let him. And he is right in behaving so protective around him.

I have hurt him, scared him. I didnt think at that time that i cannot force him to love me. He loved Tae. He only loved him. He had saved his kiss, his hug, everything for Tae and it should be done the way. You preserve yourself for those you love. I still hear his cries Copter. He was begging me to let him go. But i didnt listen to him. I let my lust consume me. Am glad Tae came and handled it all because if it had slipped out of my hands, i would have never forgave myself.

I need just one hope, one way to kneel and ask for forgiveness but i dont see any Copter. Yes i miss him". Thanitt broke into tears. Copter was sitting, frozen at his place. He didnt know how to console Thanitt.

"I am so alone now Copter. I know i am unfair to you to bound you here with me. But this place doesnt let me live alone. I am scared Copter. No one loves me. Everyone hates me. No one likes me". His words pained Copter. He cupped Thanitt's face in his small hands. He wiped those tears off the beautiful eyes.

"You are not alone. You have me. I cannot say anything about Tee because we both know the truth. But i hope he would come around too. No one hates you Thanitt. Not me. I will be here as long as you want me. I wont leave you". Copter gently let him put his head in the crook of his neck to assure that Copter was there for him.

They both kept talking, infact it was Copter to comfort Thanitt until they both fell asleep in the lounge.

They both reached the university and walked together to their first class. Copter looked around and saw Tee sitting in the other side of the class, working on his notes. He wanted to talk to him regarding Thanitt. He wanted them to talk for a proper closure may be. He wanted Tee to listen to Thanitt's apology, forgiving or not. May be he was getting a bit selfish to think about Thanitt. He took a step but his shirt was held by Thanitt.

"Dont. Not now".

"Its already late Thanitt.. Just let me talk to him once". Copter tried to make him understand but Thanitt didnt let him go. He was scared to be joke in front of the whole class. Copter would have insisted but the teacher came and he had to wait for the lunch break, that was scheduled after 3 hours.

Class after class, finally they were free after 3 hours. Copter and Thanitt went to the cafe and saw Tee waiting for Tae may be. He had not purchased lunch so far. He looked around but Tae wasnt in sight. Either he was late or was to the restroom. Anyway, Copter found it the best time to talk to Tee. He asked Thanitt to order food for them and wait while he would go and talk to Tee.

Though Thanitt was reluctant but he let Copter go, who went straight to Tee.

"Tee".

"Oh hi. Copi. How are you". Copter wasnt expecting when Tee stood up and pulled him into a bone crushing hug. "I missed you". He said in same cheerful tone. Copter felt a surge of courage in his heart.

"Am good. How you doing. Changed seats too"? Copter took a chair with him.

"It was the best option Copter. After what happened, i couldnt come up to share the same table". Tee said in a calm voice.

"He is regretting Tee. He wants to apologise to you". Copter held his hand with a hope in his eyes. Tee smiled but that wasnt an ecouraging one. Copter could read all colors in his eyes.

"Apologise is to mistakes Copi. Not for sins. I may listen to him someday, or forgive him, but not today. Not now. I could have listened to him if he was a stranger. But he was my friend Copter. My childhood friend. The one i trusted most. And he broke me the worst. It took me days to start sleeping peacefully. I was on the verge of taking anti depressants. He made me scared of friends Copter. Ironic isnt it?

I was already stressed about my mom dad, and Thanitt took the perfect time to break me. To gain me. What am i? Another trophy for his shelf". Tee smiled a sarcstic one. A smile that was enough to shatter down Copter.

"I know you are worried about him. And might feel insecure too. But let me tell you, i would never want you to feel the pain of a third person in this relationship. I know Thanitt would be biased, but he is dense. I am sure you never told him you love him. This is the best time, he is in a vulnerable state. He needs someone. Show him you love him so that he would never think about anyone but you". Tee patted his hands.

"No one can stop thinking when its you Tee". Copter said in a defeated tone.

"I can make anyone stop thinking about my Tee". He snapped his head up to see Tae speaking in a low yet cold tone. He bend down to kiss Tee on lips before taking a seat, wrapping his arms around Tee.

"Tee is mine. Mine only. I would kill each and everyone who dare think about having him. I had no objection in your friendships, but i cannot see him suffer. You can always meet him. Talk to him. But i would appreciate that Thanitt never cross the line. I dont want him near Tee. Besides, Tee is right. We both know how much you love him. Help him overcome this phase, i hope you can pull him through". Tae said with a smile.

Just then the Engineering group came with food for Tee and Tae.

"Come Copi". Tee invited him but he stood up. He knew he had no place here. And even if he had, he could not leave Thanitt alone. Not when he needed him the most.

Thanitt saw him coming with a long face.

"Come. Today we will have soup and noodles". Thanitt placed the dishes but sighed to see big fat tears lingering in Copter's eyes. "I told you Copter. He wont talk to me. I am okay until he is okay. He should be kept safe and for now i am the biggest threat to him. Cheer up. Lets have lunch. Lets wait for the time". Thanitt softly held his hand, wiping his tears. His heart was in pain too. He had seen all. The coldness, the hatred in his eyes. He saw how Tae looked around and his gaze locked on Thanitt for a mere second and that was enough to make Thanitt shiver in fear. A fierce Tae wasnt a joke.

They had their lunch with a little to no conversation and then they saw Tae took Tee to his next class. The engineers were at guard to protect him. Thanitt and Copter went to the class too and took their seats without looking at Tee. They had to cope with it now.

Tee saw it all. He was observing Thanitt stealing glances at him from time to time. He knew he wanted to talk to him but there was something holding him back and to be honest Tee didnt want to face him either. He was happy to stay alone as long as it was keeping him sane. He would sit alone, have lunch with Tae and would go back home with him.

He had received a few calls from his parents, threatening him to come back. They also told him about what Thanitt said to them, but Tee didnt say anything. He couldnt change his number because according to Tae it wont do any good, but yes, he appointed some guards in disguise for the safety of Tee. He knew he could fight the whole world, but not his parents as they had all the legal rights on Tee.

Tee was in deep thoughts till the end of the last lecture when his mobile chimed. Tae was waiting for him at the field with his hazers and freshmen. And that message was enough to put him to ease. He knew he was being watched and covered by Tae and so far he didnt need anyone else.

I am so sorry peeps for the delay. Am just too much stuck in my life. I got sick, then my son. Then father in law and brother in law caught fever. And now my husband. Its too much tiring that whenever i get some time, i go to sleep. I hope i will get back to my routine soon.
