Liu Gang saw her again, feeling his heart beat for her again. He smiled looking at her, Xue Ya saw his happy face feeling anger within herself.

Prince Ye Ping was surprised by the beauty as he calmly stayed down as everyone's eyes were still stunned to see her. Princess Wang Ya felt jealous as she wanted to marry General Liu Gang. "Fath-"

"Miss Liang now that you are back. There is one thing this emperor wants you to do." Xue Liang looked up to him as she didn't seem to understand.

"What does this emperor wish to have this servant do?" Everyone awaited as they wanted an answer.

"I would like you to marry General Liu as his official wife since you are a savior to this kingdom." Princess Wang Ya and Xue Ya were angered as both wanted to marry Liu Gang. Princess Wang Ya was going to ask her father but he already set him up to marry Xue Liang.

Everyone was stunned even more, they looked to General Liu Gang who stood up and bowed. "If it's the wish of the emperor's then I shall marry him as you wish." The emperor smiled as he nodded. Xue Liang had planned to keep her promise but also to not humiliate Liu Gang.

"How does General Liu feel about this marriage?" The emperor then asked him as everyone looked at him.

"This General would gladly accept this wish. He will make Miss Liang a happy woman as his wife." The emperor was truly happy as Xue Ya was feeling anger rise in her. Prince Ye Ping also felt jealous when he wanted to have Xue Liang.

Xue Yahui and Xue Li then ran, tugging her hand as they smiled. "Sister Liang came to sit with us. We want to be with my sister until then. We want to know if you missed us?"

Xue Liang hugged them as she patted their backs. "Sister Liang missed you two a lot. She even missed father and mother." They all went to Duke Xue Cheng and Consort Ling Fe as Su Rong followed seeing Peng Lim as she gave a glare at him.

She could smell other women's perfume on him. Peng Lim was confused as he looked at Liu Gang who sat down. "Gang, is something wrong with me? Su Rong seems to be angry with me." He then whispered to him as Liu Gang smirked at him.

"Think about it or ask her about it." Liu Gang only said to him. Smelling other women on him was obvious for Liu Gang.

Peng Lim then saw Su Rong leaving as she was a maid. He soon sneaked out as the party was just starting. Following her, she saw a withered flower and grabbed it as she covered it with the dirt soil.

"What are you doing?" Startled, she turned around to fall as Peng Lim caught her as his hand supported her back from falling. "Someone like you gets startled easily. I should try it more often." Peng Lim teased as she pushed him. She covered her nose since she disliked the scent of other women that use too much perfume.

"I know you're no ordinary human being. We've seen each other before as the felines. I didn't think that your smelling senses could be that strong." Peng Lim said.

Su Rong threw up to the side as she really hated the scent coming off him. "Stay a few distance away from me. I really can't stand it." She then covered her nose with her mask as it hid her lower face. Her mask had a fragrance that she created to help her feel smooth out from strong scents. She sighed with relief.

"Did you miss me at least?" Peng Lim looked at her as she ignored him walking off. "You didn't answer my question!" Peng Lim continued to follow her again. Under her mask she was smiling that he kept following her. She at least knew that he still loved following after her.

Back at the event the food was served as everyone dug in. Xue Liang was with her little brothers as they kept playing with her and hugging her. "Sister Liang, did you get anything for us?" Xue Li asked as Xue Yahui was also curious.

"Well, I did come across a few things. I will have to show you both later. Right now it's the emperor's birthday so let's make it enjoyable." Xue Liang could sense the hate of Xue Ya and Princess Wang Ya. She needed to keep herself at a low profile or else things would get messy.

"Miss Liang, why don't you go and sit besides your fiancé? Right now is a good time to get to know each other."

The emperor then said as Xue Liang felt her face burn as she saw Liu Gang smirk.

"Yes, your highness." Xue Liang got up as her brothers stayed at the table. Sitting down next to Liu Gang as she didn't expect to be near him so soon.

"So tell me about the two years. I know you have another name but I prefer to call you Liang but I'll be calling you wife soon." Xue Liang couldn't help but feel her face flush as she couldn't stand how he could enjoy himself when they were to be wedded soon.

She sighed as she then decided to play along. "Then my husband better start working hard to be worthy of me. I have a reputation, you know." She picked up a piece of bamboo slice as Liu Gang ate it.

"It's sour but crunchy." Xue Liang blushed as she didn't expect him to eat it.

"Gang!" She said lowly as he smirked.

"There's nothing wrong with fiancés eating food from each other. It's your turn now." He then grabbed the chopsticks as he grabbed a piece of bamboo as he held it in front of her. Xue Liang sighed as she took a bite. Her favorite food was bamboo.

Xue Ya and Princess Ya were jealous as they wanted to be his wife and be treated that way. Both didn't understand why a consort's daughter could be his wife and not them. "Where is Madam Hai and Prince Yu?" Xue Liang asked Liu Gang as he looked at her.
