"Miss Hai couldn't live without her mother. Right after their wedding, Miss Hai took Prince Yu's life, her own, and their child. Of course, you wouldn't know because you've been gone now." Liu Gang told her. She did think that Xue Hai would take her own life after losing her mother. She sighed as she looked at Xue Li and Xue Yahui.

She could only nod, Liu Gang loved how cute her blush face was.

"If you didn't save us then I would've lost my dearest son." Chief Wei said sobbing as his friends supported him.

"Chief..." Everyone stayed quiet as the emperor then looked at Princess Wang Ya.

"Wang Ya, you've made the emperor look terrible in the crowd. Guards take her to her room." Princess Wang Ya then became upset as she looked at Xue Liang.

"Father!!!" They took her as Xue Liang sadly looked down. Taking a sip of the tea as she wasn't paying attention. She saw Xue Ya grin knowing she probably did something with the drink. She had taken a sip as she set it back down, catching the scent of an aphrodisiac. She had lost focus when she thought of Princess Wang Ya's accusation. She rose up needing to leave quickly.

She then ran to the forest as this wasn't the time to shift yet. If she did then her tiger would go crazy. She wouldn't be able to control her body as it was affected by a drug. Running down the market street as they followed her. "Come here woman! We'll be gentle."

Falling back down as she saw they pinned her down. The drug was affecting her body as she bit her lip to not feel the drug. Bleeding now on the side of her mouth she flinched waking up. The tiger roared out as she was about to let the tiger out as a man screamed in pain. They turned around to see Liu Gang as he was filled with anger.

"I won't let anyone hurt my wife." A slight roar could be heard as he then struck at them angrily as they grew in fear. His sword pierced into their bodies while Xue Liang held her shaking body. "Anyone who dares touch her will not guarantee life."

"It wasn't us! Her sister told us we could!" One yelled as he was the last one killed.

"I will not show mercy." He then turned to see Xue Liang clutching her body which he ran quickly to her. She flinched, pushing him away. She was shaking as he saw her trembling hands.

Liu Gang then took off his coat robe as he covered her. Carrying her up, he left the bodies dead. He had connections to the emperor and it allowed him to follow his fiancé out. Carrying her to his Manor as she shivered clutching his chest.

"I-I was scared." She held his hand before he was about to leave her. She was shaking and she didn't want to be alone. "I thought that they were going to get me. I thought you were going to leave me." Liu Gang hugged her while she could feel tears stream down her eyes. She felt calm as she held him close. Rubbing her head against his chest.

"I will not allow anyone to have you. Anyone who dares to take you from me I will kill them with no mercy." He hugged her as they both looked at each other. Pressing their foreheads together, Xue Liang could feel her body heat up. He rubbed her injured mouth lightly.

She soon felt herself press her lips to his as Liu Gang looked at her surprised by her action. Xue Liang was also shocked, then pushing herself away and jumped out of the bed as she clutched the blanket wrapping her body.

"I'm sorry. I'm being weird right now. I feel like a burden to you." Liu Gang then hugged her as he kissed her. She tried pushing him away but she soon stopped and hugged him back. He pushed past her lips as it took a few minutes before they soon separated looking to each other breathlessly.

"You're not a burden nor are you weird. Everything today was not your fault. I will get rid of those who are trying to harm you. You're my wife and you belong to me." He carried her to the bed as he set her down. "Try and fight the drug. I won't leave you, but I cannot see you suffer this alone. Besides, your sister has never slept with the prince but she will tonight." He held her hand as she panted holding his hand tightly.
